Abstract

This research is a descriptive research which aims to describe the science learning video model in class IV and the steps for using the science learning video model. Educational media are used in the context of communication and interaction between teachers and students in the learning process, 1) story learning videos, 2) news learning videos, 3) presentation learning videos, 4) documentary learning videos. Based on the results of previous research in grade IV at SDN 19 Cakranegara, it was found that teachers at SDN 19 Cakranegara had used learning videos when delivering subject matter. Based on the results of interviews and observations that have been made, it is applied in order to create a more active learning atmosphere and train students to understand science lessons well and can apply them in everyday life, meaning that here it is very helpful in conveying practical problem material and also students quickly understand science lessons. Then the steps, 1) preparation of the learning video, preparing and adjusting the material to be delivered, 2) implementing the media, first arranging the seats, and delivering the material, then being ordered to do the task, 3) ending the learning video by giving assignments according to what that had been studied at that time. In learning science at SDN 19 Cakranegara, not every meeting uses the media, depending on the subject matter. Students are very active in following ongoing lessons, because students themselves do not feel bored because they only use books as media, besides that student get additional insight about the subject matter. Teaching and learning activities at SDN 19 Cakranegara are innovatively designed so that the data achieve the desired goals. The teaching and learning process is not only carried out using the classical system but has implemented independent learning and can solve its own problems from various problems encountered in learning.

Abstract

Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah tindakan-tindakan yang terdapat dalam Mbolo Weki prosesi pernikahan tradisi masyarakat Bima menggunakan kajian semiotika Roland Barthes dan makna tindakan-tindakan  dalam Mbolo Weki prosesi pernikahan tradisi masyarakat. Metode penelitian yaitu, metode dokumentasi dan wawancara. Dalam menganalisis data menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif perspektif Roland Barthes. Hasil penelitian ini berupa pendeskripsian data menunjukan 6 tindakan yang menggambarkan makna yaitu, doho ka mbolo, piti kumpula, kumpula uta, pembentukan panitia pernikahan dan kancihi ncao fiki ro kananu kasabua ade ro loko. Dari makna yang digambarkan bahwa acara Mbolo Weki prosesi  pernikahan  memiliki  makna  bahwa  Mbolo  Weki  merupakan  suatu  acara  yang dilakukan    secara    terhormat    dalam    tradisi    prosesi    pernikahan    yang    bertujuan untuk  mempererat hubungan dalam kesatuan sosial masyarakat, seperti adanya bantuan dari kelompok orang, yang dimaksudkan dengan adanya pemberian sumbangan secara bergilir dengan tujuan salah satunya untuk meringankan beban biaya pernikahan keluarga yang berhajat, dan tradisi ini sangat bermanfaat untuk berbagai kalangan sosial dalam masyarakat suku Bima.

Abstract

Quantitative research involving 122 respondents and aims to explain how leadership style, stress at work, and work promotions influence employee performance at PT. Adolina Gardens Perkebunan Nusantara IV Reglonal II. The results of this research show that leadership style, promotion, and work stress influence the performance of PT employees. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Reglonal II Kebun Adolina simultaneously and significantly. Leadership style does not affect the performance of PT employees. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional II Kebun Adolina significantly, but promotions affect the performance of PT employees. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional II Adolina Gardens significantly

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis upaya yang dilakukan oleh Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Hidayatullah Balikpapan dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan karyawan, khususnya bagi mereka yang kurang mampu secara ekonomi. Yayasan ini mengelola berbagai unit usaha, seperti Pasar Mandani, Sakinah Mart, dan layanan logistik JNE, yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan bagi warga pondok. Unit-unit usaha ini tidak hanya membuka kesempatan kerja tetapi juga memungkinkan kerjasama usaha yang meningkatkan pendapatan komunitas. Selain itu, kesejahteraan karyawan juga ditingkatkan melalui unit pendidikan yang ada di yayasan. Karyawan yang ditugaskan di sektor pendidikan menerima upah yang dapat menunjang kehidupan ekonomi mereka. Melalui diversifikasi strategi usaha dan pendidikan ini, Pondok Pesantren Hidayatullah berupaya menciptakan sistem kesejahteraan yang berkelanjutan bagi seluruh karyawan dan warga yang terlibat, serta mendorong kemandirian ekonomi di kalangan komunitas pesantren. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pendekatan integratif antara unit usaha dan pendidikan merupakan kunci dalam meningkatkan taraf ekonomi warga pesantren secara efektif. This study aims to analyze the efforts made by Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Hidayatullah Balikpapan in improving employee welfare, especially for those who are economically disadvantaged. The foundation manages various business units, such as Pasar Mandani, Sakinah Mart, and JNE logistics services, which aim to create jobs for the community. These business units not only provide employment opportunities but also enable business partnerships that increase community income. In addition, employee welfare is also improved through the foundation's education unit. Employees assigned to the education sector receive wages that can support their economic lives. Through this diversification of business and education strategies, Hidayatullah Islamic Boarding School seeks to create a sustainable welfare system for all employees and residents involved, as well as encourage economic independence among the pesantren community. This study found that an integrative approach between business and education units is the key to effectively improving the economic standard of the pesantren community.

Abstract

The aim of this investigation was to determine how civil servants implement public service management at the Cultural Heritage Preservation Center of SouthSulawesi Province.This study employs a qualitative research design with a descriptive approach to depict the research subject without any researcher intervention. Datacollection techniques use observation and interviews. The results of this study show that there isstill a lack of human resources, especially those who deal directly with tourists in implementing public services and the problem of facilities that are also lacking for tourists such as buildings that are rarely open to tourists and also tour guides who are still dominant in serving foreign tourists as well as equipment such asprayer equipment, toilets and seats. However, employees still provide the best service by using SOPs as a basis for service and also a unique approach to tourists by providing online services using the preservation hall website and also tourists get aservice called virtual reality that makes tourists get information before they come to visit cultural heritage sites. In addition, employees are very open, especially to students / students / users who want to do activities in the reserve site area. Therefore, it is recommended to the Cultural Heritage Preservation Center of South SulawesiProvince, in particular, the Public Service and Publication Working Group will organize training sessions on service management for employees, especially those who directly deal with tourists /users.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the level of employee job satisfaction at Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan in Sinjai Regency. The research subjects consisted of the head of the agency and two employees, with a focus on job satisfaction based on aspects of the job itself, salary, promotions, supervision, and co-workers. The research objectives include an in-depth understanding of current job satisfaction and the ways to increase the job satisfaction of employees. The research method used is qualitative with an interview approach and direct observation. Data is collected through direct interaction with participants and then analyzed to identify emerging patterns and findings. The results of the research show that employees' job satisfaction at Dinas Perpustaakan dan kearsiapan in Sinjai Regency is generally good. Factors such as the work itself, salary, and co-workers have a positive contribution to job satisfaction, while promotions and supervision have a more limited impact. In the ways to increase job satisfaction, this agency has implemented various strategies, including employee training and development, creating a relaxed and pleasant work atmosphere (cool and fun), as well as implementing an organizational culture that encourages values such as teamwork, full innovation, and carrying out the best processes. for best results, showing visitor satisfaction, honesty, trust, enjoyment, and loyalty. The conclusions of this study highlight the importance of paying attention to factors that significantly influence employee job satisfaction. The implications of these findings can be a basis for developing more effective management policies and practices in Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan in Sinjai Regency.

Abstract

This research discusses the Communication Strategy of the Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) of Makassar City in increasing public participation during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The background of the formation of this research is because the Regional Head Election (Pilkada) was held in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic whose transmission was very fast, so the government appealed to keep a distance and do activities at home to prevent the transmission and spread of Covid-19. This is inversely proportional to the Pilkada, which is actually a people's democratic party that usually gathers a lot of masses to gain support. This research uses Qualitative methods with a case study approach by using the theory of determining communication planning strategies by Harold D. Laswell. The results of the study are (1) KPU Kota Makassar establishes a number of human resource chains (organizers) that carry out socialization to the community to disseminate information about elections, (2) KPU Kota Makassar compiles and provides electoral messages that are informative, persuasive, and educative to the public, (3) Using social media, conventional media, and associating influencers to disseminate electoral information, (4) Socialization by targeting 10 strategic bases, socialization in the Sangkarrang Islands and on Lae-lae Island, embracing communities, and socialization with all the people of Makassar City who can already cast their votes.

Abstract

This study aims: (1) to determine the significant impact of self-confidence on students' public speaking abilities; (2) to find out what causes the lack of confidence in students' public speaking abilities. This study used a quantitative method using simple random sampling technique in taking the sample. The subjects of this study were Business English Communication students’ batch 2020. The types of instruments and data collection techniques were questionnaires with two types, namely open-ended questionnaires and also closed-ended questionnaires. Data analysis used the normality test, simple linear regression test and hypothesis testing. The results showed that there was an impact of self-confidence on students' public speaking abilitiy, meaning that a significance value of 0.005 was less than 0.05 and a value of 2.991 was greater than a of 2.036. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between self-confidence on public speaking or it can be said that is rejected and is accepted, which means that variable X has an effect on variable Y.

Abstract

This research is descriptive qualitative research that aims to find out the activities of employers and employees in working on English documents at PT. Iramasuka. The subjects of this research were employers and employees. The sample consists of 4 respondents. In conducting this research, data were obtained using interview questions, observation checklist, and questionnaires. The results of the data shows that the activities carried out at PT. Iramasuka in the business communication division is correspondence conducted in the office, including making agreement letters, confirmation letters,reading and informing cooperation agreements. The product division creates and designs products to be marketed, discusses and provides suggestions and ideas for further products that have the potential to be marketed. In the promotion section, creative and attractive product ideas are designed so that they can attract the attention of customers. Based on the findings above, the researcher concluded that many activities through documents were carried out at PT. Iramasuka uses the English language and skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of interpersonal communication on student stress, to determine the effect of problem-focused coping on student stress, and to determine the effect of interpersonal communication and problem-focused coping on student stress in completing a thesis at UISU (Case Study of 2021 Students of the Management Study Program, FEB). The population used in this study was 112 students who were completing their thesis. Based on Slovin's calculation, the number of samples to be used in this study was 72 people. The data analysis techniques used in this study were by distributing questionnaires, interviews, document studies, and literature studies. The data analysis techniques used in this study were data quality testing, classical assumption testing, and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the analysis and hypothesis testing, the results of the study are that Interpersonal Communication has a negative and significant effect on Student stress, Problem Focused Coping has a negative and significant effect on Student stress and Interpersonal Communication and Problem Focused Coping have a significant effect on Student Stress in completing the thesis at UISU (Case Study of Students of the 2021 FEB Management Study Program). The suggestion from this study is that students can better apply good Interpersonal communication in the future, both with family, friends, or supervisors. And also Students should focus more on problem solving and managing tasks rationally by managing time well. And for universities can offer training or workshops on stress management and the use of effective coping for students who are in the process of completing their thesis.
