Abstract

Capacity Building is very important in this era of digital transformation. Capacity Building includes improving the skills, knowledge and capabilities of individuals, organizations and communities in order to adopt and make the most of digital technology. Until now, no coaching activities have been carried out in the form of increasing the capacity and skills of service officer resources. So the Riau Province Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) carried out Capacity Building Training activities aimed at Riau Province Bapenda's social security service officers. Through this training participants were taught how to provide excellent service, capacity building, and skilled in communication.

Abstract

Industrial resource management training is an important aspect in increasing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of an industry. This training acceleration aims to accelerate the mastery of skills and knowledge needed in managing industrial products. This program is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of product management strategies, including planning, development, production, distribution and marketing. With structured and intensive training methods, it is hoped that participants will be able to apply industrial resource management concepts effectively in the work environment. The results of this accelerated training are expected to improve overall organizational performance, create high quality products, and strengthen competitiveness in the market. Case studies and practical simulations are used to ensure that participants not only understand the theory, but are also able to apply it in real situations. Abstract

This community service activity was organized by the Riau Provincial Tourism Office in order to improve the development of the tourism sector through the Riau Bujang Dara Selection event. The purpose of the Bujang Dara Riau Election is to find young people who have potential and are expected to become role models for other young people. The competition method is that participants are sons and daughters of the region who come from 12 regencies and cities in Riau Province. Furthermore, it is selected by the Regency and City Tourism Office respectively so that one pair of Bujang Dara winners will be selected as finalists and represent the area to continue to the Provincial Level Bujang Dara election. Furthermore, the judges assessed the cultural knowledge, traditional knowledge, intellectual knowledge, public speaking, character, education and insight of the finalists.

Abstract

Although innovation is recognized as important for a company, not all companies can do it due to some limitations or barriers they have, especially for small and medium-sized companies. One of these barriers is in terms of creativity. This study discussed this issue by investigating how the effect of creativity barriers of SMEs in generating varied, unique, and original ideas on the company's ability to carry out innovative practices, as well as its impact on the business performance of SMEs. Thus, this study aimed to test empirically on 350 SMEs in Riau Province whether barriers to creativity (creativity barriers) can be antecedents of innovation and business performance in the context of cross-sector small and medium-sized enterprises with structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis technique. The findings of this study indicate a significant effect related to the effect of creativity barriers on SMEs' product and process innovation. The results of this study also found that creativity barriers did not have a significant effect on performance. This study's last findings prove the mediation role of the innovation process in the relationship between creativity barriers and performance. The results of this study prove that success in making product innovation can be a differentiating factor that causes some SMEs to grow and develop while others do not, even though they have almost the same limitations or barriers. In practical terms, the results of this study show how important it is for SMEs to always adopt innovative practices, such as making changes, updates, and improvements to improve their business performance.

Abstract

Superior product development is a strategic step in creating competitive products and meeting consumer needs effectively. The training held in Pekanbaru aims to increase the capacity of business actors in producing innovative and high-quality products, as well as build a network of collaboration with academics and industry. The focus of the training is directed at accelerating the product development process through various topics, including business feasibility analysis, marketing strategies, consumer behavior, and market segmentation techniques. With an approach that involves presentations, simulations, and interactive discussions, participants gain an in-depth understanding and practical skills to apply the training materials. The evaluation conducted through feedback aims to assess the effectiveness of the training and identify the need for further training. The results of this activity show an increase in participants' understanding and strengthen collaboration between business actors, academics, and the government in supporting the development of competitive superior products in the market.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that repair motorcycles in Pekanbaru confront financial management issues, particularly in providing accurate and meaningful financial reports. A lack of awareness of basic accounting principles and regular financial recording procedures makes it difficult to measure the financial performance of a business. This community service project seeks to help motorcycle repair MSMEs develop their understanding and skills in creating financial reports in compliance with accounting standards. PKM activities for motorcycle repair shop MSMEs in Pekanbaru, involving the owner or manager and three staff, will occur on-site on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, using lecture, practice, and discussion approaches. Pre- and post-tests are used to examine participants' enhanced understanding, and satisfaction surveys are used to assess activity effectiveness. Following this training session, participants' knowledge of financial report preparation was enhanced by 75%. Participants' skills improve through a learning approach that blends theoretical underpinnings from lectures, practical application of exercises, and collaborative problem-solving through discussion. This PKM activity can help to increase the economic value of motorcycle repair MSMEs by improving financial management and making more informed decisions. This activity also helps to grow and support MSMEs, which are an essential part of the economy. Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) bengkel motor di Pekanbaru menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan keuangan, terutama dalam penyusunan laporan keuangan yang akurat dan relevan. Kurangnya pemahaman tentang prinsip-prinsip akuntansi dasar dan metode pencatatan keuangan yang sistematis menyebabkan kesulitan dalam mengukur kinerja keuangan usaha. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan UMKM bengkel motor dalam menyusun laporan keuangan yang sesuai dengan standar akuntansi. Kegiatan PKM yang ditujukan untuk UMKM bengkel motor di Pekanbaru, yang melibatkan pemilik atau pengelola dan tiga orang karyawan, akan dilaksanakan secara tatap muka pada Rabu, 5 Maret 2025 dengan metode ceramah, praktik, dan diskusi. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman peserta, serta survei kepuasan untuk menilai efektivitas kegiatan. Pemahaman peserta mengenai penyusunan laporan keuangan meningkat sebesar 75% setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini. Keterampilan peserta berkembang melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yang menggabungkan dasar teori dari ceramah, aplikasi praktis dari latihan, dan kolaborasi untuk mengatasi tantangan melalui diskusi. Kegiatan PKM ini dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan nilai ekonomis UMKM bengkel motor melalui pengelolaan keuangan yang lebih baik dan pengambilan keputusan yang lebih tepat. Kegiatan ini juga berkontribusi pada pertumbuhan dan keberlanjutan UMKM, yang merupakan salah satu pilar penting perekonomian.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of direct marketing and brand image on purchasing decisions and consumer loyalty of 500 Ml Brand Bagus sweetened condensed milk at PT. Riau Food Lestari. The population in this research is consumers who shop at PT. Riau Food Lestari is spread and the exact number is not known. Furthermore, sampling in this research used the Roscoe approach which resulted in 120 respondents and was determined using the accidental sampling method. Data analysis in this research uses the second-generation multivariate data analysis method, namely SEM or Structural Equation Model. Based on the results of the research conducted, the results showed that direct marketing has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, direct marketing has a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty, brand image has a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty, and purchasing decisions have a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty of 500 Ml Good Brand sweetened condensed milk at PT. Riau Food Lestari.

Abstract

The use of e-wallets in Indonesia, including Gopay, continues to increase along with the development of financial technology that facilitates financial transactions. However, a deeper understanding is needed regarding the factors influencing the decision to use e-wallets, particularly in Pekanbaru. This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and promotion on the decision to use the Gopay e-wallet. This research employs a survey method using the accidental sampling technique, involving 120 Gopay users. The data collected were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and promotion have a positive and significant influence on the decision to use the Gopay e-wallet in Pekanbaru. In conclusion, increasing promotion and developing more user-friendly features can encourage greater e-wallet adoption. These findings provide strategic implications for e-wallet service providers in formulating more effective marketing policies. Penggunaan e-wallet di Indonesia, termasuk Gopay, terus meningkat seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi finansial yang memudahkan transaksi keuangan. Namun, masih diperlukan pemahaman mendalam mengenai faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keputusan penggunaan e-wallet, khususnya di Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh persepsi manfaat, kemudahan penggunaan, dan promosi terhadap keputusan penggunaan e-wallet Gopay. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik accidental sampling, melibatkan 120 responden pengguna Gopay. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi manfaat, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, dan promosi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan penggunaan e-wallet Gopay di Pekanbaru. Kesimpulannya, peningkatan promosi dan pengembangan fitur yang lebih memudahkan pengguna dapat mendorong peningkatan penggunaan e-wallet. Hasil ini memberikan implikasi strategis bagi perusahaan penyedia layanan e-wallet dalam menyusun kebijakan pemasaran yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Market Knowledge and Product Innovation on Marketing Performance in MSMEs in the culinary sector in Pekanbaru City. The research sample was selected using a purposive sampling method based on criteria relevant to the research objectives, with a total of 200 respondents. The analysis method used is path analysis with the help of SPSS version 21 and SmartPLS 3 software. The research results show that Market Knowledge has a significant influence on Product Innovation and Marketing Performance. However, Product Innovation does not show a significant influence on Marketing Performance. Apart from that, Market Knowledge also has a significant influence on Marketing Performance through the mediation of Product Innovation. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Market Knowledge dan Inovasi Produk terhadap Kinerja Pemasaran pada UMKM sektor kuliner di Kota Pekanbaru. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria yang relevan dengan tujuan penelitian, dengan jumlah total 200 responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur (path analysis) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 21 dan SmartPLS 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Market Knowledge memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Inovasi Produk dan Kinerja Pemasaran. Namun, Inovasi Produk tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pemasaran. Selain itu, Market Knowledge juga memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pemasaran melalui mediasi Inovasi Produk.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of website quality and e-service quality on e-trust and repurchase intention on e-commerce platforms in Pekanbaru City. The objects in this study were e-commerce consumers domiciled in Pekanbaru, with a total of 200 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the help of SPSS software version 21.0 and SmartPLS version 4.1.0. The results of the study indicate that: (1) website quality does not have a significant influence on e-trust; (2) e-service quality has a positive and significant influence on e-trust; (3) website quality does not have a significant influence on repurchase intention; (4) e-service quality has a significant influence on repurchase intention; and (5) e-trust has a significant influence on repurchase intention. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis pengaruh kualitas situs web serta kualitas layanan elektronik (e-service quality) terhadap kepercayaan elektronik (e-trust) dan niat pembelian ulang pada platform e-commerce di Kota Pekanbaru. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen e-commerce yang berdomisili di Pekanbaru, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 200 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 21.0 dan SmartPLS versi 4.1.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kualitas situs web tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap e-trust; (2) kualitas layanan elektronik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap e-trust; (3) kualitas situs web tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap niat pembelian ulang; (4) kualitas layanan elektronik memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap niat pembelian ulang; dan (5) e-trust berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap niat pembelian ulang.
