Abstract

This study aims to design fire evacuation routes using the Dijkstra Algorithm at RSUD I Lagaligo in East Luwu Regency, as part of the building renovation to improve service quality. The Dijkstra Algorithm was chosen for its ability to determine the shortest path from one point to another in a graph. This research employs systematic and logical data analysis techniques to obtain the closest evacuation routes. The results show a significant decrease in evacuation distance after the implementation of the Dijkstra algorithm, enhancing travel efficiency while maintaining consistent gathering points, except for some routes that experience changes in gathering points.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method in controlling raw material inventory for aluminum wardrobe production in Amal Jaya SME. The inability to accurately predict the average number of customer orders each month indicates unfulfilled consumer demand. Therefore, effective raw material control becomes crucial to ensure availability in accordance with demand. The objectives of this research are to evaluate the management of raw materials using the MRP method and identify its impact on cost efficiency of raw materials in the production process. Additionally, this study aims to optimize raw material inventory to maximize customer demand fulfillment. The MRP method was chosen as the primary approach in this research. The results of the analysis indicate that the implementation of MRP method with Lot for Lot (LFL) lot sizing is the most efficient choice in controlling raw material inventory. Based on calculations using lot-for-lot and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) methods, the most efficient inventory expenditure incurred by the company amounts to Rp. 26,274,840. Thus, ordering raw materials with Lot for Lot lot sizing can be used as a solution to optimize the control of aluminum wardrobe inventory in Amal Jaya SME.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi saat ini telah membawa banyak perubahan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam bidang transportasi. Salah satu aplikasi yang populer di Makassar adalah Maxride. Maxride merupakan perusahaan rintisan teknologi asal Indonesia berkantor pusat tepatnya di Kota Makassar yang bergerak di bidang layanan transportasi dan gaya hidup di mana perusahaan ini menyediakan aplikasi mobile yang mempertemukan pengemudi dengan pelanggan secara cepat dan mudah. Namun berdasarkan beberapa review pengguna pada Google Playstore maupun AppStore masih mendapatkan masalah terkait layanan dan kualitas sistem. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kepuasan pengguna ojek bajaj di Makassar melalui aplikasi Maxride yang ditinjau dari aspek usability sehingga dapat diketahui permasalahan terkait aplikasi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode USE Questionnaire yang mencakup 4 aspek usability yaitu usefulness, ease of use, ease of learning, dan satisfaction. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh pada pengukuran usability aplikasi Maxride dimana pada variabel usefulness memperoleh nilai sebesar 68,98%, 48,38% pada ease of use, 74,06% pada ease of learning, dan 70,98% pada variabel satisfaction. Serta nilai usability secara keseluruhan mendapatkan nilai yang layak sebesar 65,60%. Berdasarkan hasil uji usability, aplikasi Maxride di Makassar menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan pengguna yang layak dengan nilai 65,60%. Namun, dari empat variabel usability yang diteliti, variabel Ease of Use (Kemudahan Penggunaan) mendapat skor terendah sebesar 48,38%, yang termasuk dalam kategori cukup. Skor ini jauh dari nilai usability yang ideal dan berpotensi mempengaruhi kepuasan pengguna secara keseluruhan. Oleh karena itu, aspek kemudahan penggunaan aplikasi Maxride memerlukan perbaikan lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna.

Abstract

Usaha Panre’ batu (pengrajin Batu) adalah suatu usaha kerajinan batu ukir yang sudah ada sejak lama di desa Allakuang bahkan menjadi usaha turun temurun. Para pengrajin ini, meskipun memiliki keterampilan tinggi dalam memproduksi barang-barang kerajinan, sering kali menghadapi risiko kesehatan dan keselamatan yang serius akibat paparan debu, penggunaan alat berat, dan kontak langsung dengan bahan-bahan berbahaya. Permasalahan mitra yang yang didapatkan berdasarkan observasi secara langsung adalah masih kurangnya pengetahuan para pengrajin batu (mitra) tentang penerapan kesehatan dan keelamatan kerja. Selain itu, masih minimnya penggunaan alat pelindung diri tiap bekerja. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah edukasi kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja dan simulasi penggunaan alat pelindung diri yang tepat yang dilaksanakan pada aula kantor desa Allakuang. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian didapatkan sebanyak 17 anggota mitra hadir dan mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian sampai selesai. Dari hasil evaluasi pre-post test didapatkan peningkatan pengetahuan mitra sebesar 25,8 dari pengetahuan sebelumnya. Kegiatan pengabdian pun terlaksana dengan lancar. Selain itu, mitra mampu menggunakan alat pelindung diri dengan benar. Saran untuk kegiatan Pengabdian selanjutnya, Sebaiknya kegiatannya difokuskan pada pemanfaatan limbah hasil Kerajinan Batu.

Abstract

Desa Manyampa adalah salah satu wilayah bagian dari Kecamatan Ujungloe yang memiliki luas Wilayah 42 Km persegi dengan 25% merupakan area pertanian kelapa. Berdasarkan survey lapangan, ditemukan jika anggota kelompok tani rahmat II memiliki lahan Perkebunan kelapa dengan luasan area 0,5-4 hektar lahan. Potensi buah kelapa yang dihasilkan berada pada kisaran 1.000-12.000 biji buah kelapa yang dipanen setiap 2 bulan. Merupakan daerah yang memiliki potensi besar dalam pengelolaan limbah tempurung dan sabut kelapa. Namun, masyarakat setempat belum sepenuhnya memanfaatkan limbah tersebut secara optimal sehingga bernilai ekonomis. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat Desa Manyampa dalam memanfaatkan limbah tempurung dan sabut kelapa melalui teknologi pirolisis, serta memberikan pelatihan pembuatan briket dan pestisida organic asap cair yang memiliki nilai jual tinggi. Teknologi pirolisis dipilih karena merupakan metode yang efektif dalam mengubah limbah menjadi produk yang bernilai guna, seperti arang yang diolah menjadi briket-briket dan juga menghasilakn pestisida organik berupa produk asap cair. Kegiatan pengabdian ini meliputi sosialisasi teknologi pirolisis, pelatihan pembuatan briket, pelatihan pemanfaatan asap cair serta pendampingan dalam proses produksi dan pengemasan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan limbah tempurung dan sabut kelapa. Selain itu, masyarakat juga mampu memproduksi briket dan asap cair dengan kualitas yang baik, sehingga berpotensi meningkatkan pendapatan mereka melalui penjualan produk tersebut. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat berkelanjutan, dan memberikan dampak positif dalam pengembangan ekonomi lokal melalui pemanfaatan sumber daya yang tersedia.

Abstract

Jurusan Geomatika dan Geospasial, SMKN 5 Makassar tidak memiliki alat processing dan pengetahuan tentang penggunaan metode eksplorasi menggunakan Remote Sensing sehingga pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa masih belum memadai, sedangkan hasil processing menggunakan remote sensing merupakan ilmu pengetahuan teknologi modern yang akan digunakan dalam pemodelan endapan dan keterdapatan endapan permukaan sesuai dengan materi pelajaran geologi teknik dari siswa-siswi tersebut. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini akan memberikan pengetahuan dan pengamalan baru dan tentu berharga bagi mereka dalam meningkatkan keterampilan dan mutu siswa dari hasil alih teknologi dan keilmuan tim dosen pengabdi Universitas Muslim Indonesia. Selain itu, ketersediaan guru di bidang geologi pertambangan sangat terbatas pada sekolah ini sehingga dengan pelaksanaan pengabdian akan sangat membantu dalam menambah pengetahuan dan keilmuan siswa-siswi mengenai bidang pertambangan secara umum, khususnya dalam bidang keahlian geomekanika dan eksplorasi. Metode yang dapat diterapkan sebagai solusi dari permasalah tersebut dengan menyiapkan perangkat dan akses guna melakukan processing dan mendownload data melalui sumber penyedia Foto Udara. Pengolahan citra satelit yang cukup modern ini dapat memberikan informasi yang baik guna peningkatan informasi dalam mata pelajaran untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pengamalan baru dan tentu berharga bagi mereka dalam meningkatkan keterampilan dan mutu siswa dari hasil alih teknologi dan keilmuan tim dosen pengabdi Universitas Muslim Indonesia.

Abstract

One of the global problems related to the future of cities is the environmental problem, namely the amount of municipal solid waste. From this waste, several issues arise in various aspects, such as health, aesthetics, and social and environmental problems. So that focused research is carried out on the management of urban solid waste produced by households. The research objective is to design a conceptual model and determine the variables and indicators that affect the generation of urban household solid waste and determine what prevention can be done. The model intended consists of 5 variables and 17 indicators. Data was collected based on a survey method with a closed questionnaire distributed to 120 respondents aged ≥ 17 years and residing in Yogyakarta. Analysis of the model and variable relationships was carried out based on the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the help of AMOS 24 software. The results showed that the designed model was valid. Socioeconomic variables, KAP level, waste reduction, and seasonality are direct predictors determining waste generation behavior. Socioeconomic variables are also direct predictors of KAP level and seasonal variables, and KAP level variables are direct predictors of waste reduction and seasonal variables

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to measure the level of patient satisfaction with service quality at the Minasa Upa Health Center. Design/methodology/approach: This study uses the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method to measure community satisfaction with service quality. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires. Five dimensions are measured: tangible variables, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Findings: The results of this study indicate that the quality of service at the Minasa Upa Public Health Center in terms of five dimensions results in a perception value below the expected value. These results suggest that patient satisfaction with services at the Minasa Upa Health Center in Makassar city still needs to be fulfilled. Research limitations/implications: This research was fieldwork at the Minasa Upa Public Health Center. The respondents in this study were people who had visited or received treatment at the Minasa Upa Public Health Center, as many as 100. Originality/value: Public Health Center describes a public service engaged in health services that has an essential role in the National Health System. Public Health Center is a health service provider organization that exists in all regions. The quality of service at the Minasa Upa Public Health Center is still not good, as evidenced by the perceived value, which is still below the expected value and has led to decreased public confidence in seeking treatment at the health center. So, this can affect the decline in health levels in the community. In addition to this, facilities and infrastructure factors still do not satisfy service users.

Abstract

Purpose: Frequent damage to the mill roll machine at the mill station and the absence of special attention to scheduling repairs, this research is expected to make scheduled maintenance intervals and maintenance strategies for mill roll machines at the mill station to reduce downtime and anticipate sudden downtime on the machine. Design/methodology/approach: This study uses the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method approach to create the most efficient maintenance program by eliminating unnecessary maintenance activities, reducing overhaul frequency, minimizing downtime, minimizing the risk of sudden failure, focusing maintenance on critical components, and improving component reliability. Findings: The results of this study show that there are two strategies used in mill roll machine maintenance, namely preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance. Research limitations/implications: This study focuses on critical components that often experience damage to the mill roll machine, namely standard milk check, feeder roll, scrapper, and chute components, and does not consider the cost aspect. Practical implications: The results of this study provide input to the company's interval time scheduling and machine maintenance strategy. Originality/value: This research was conducted in the production department of the milling station at PT Perkebunan Nusantara XIV Camming Sugar Factory in Bone Regency, where the production results include white crystal sugar, blotong, and molasses. Research to analyze machine reliability, minimize downtime and propose maintenance schedules and SOPs for maintaining production machinery at Camming Sugar Factory.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the usability of the Maxride ride-hailing application in Makassar, Indonesia, focusing on user satisfaction from a usability perspective. The research employed a quantitative approach using the USE Questionnaire method. Data was collected from 400 Maxride users in Makassar through an online survey. The questionnaire assessed four usability variables: Usefulness, Ease of Use, Ease of Learning, and Satisfaction.The overall usability score of the Maxride application was 65.60%, falling in the "feasible" category. While the app scored well in Usefulness (68.98%), Ease of Learning (74.06%), and Satisfaction (70.98%), it performed poorly in Ease of Use (48.38%), indicating significant room for improvement in this area.The study was limited to Makassar users and relied solely on quantitative data. As a cross-sectional study, it only captured user perceptions at a single point in time. These limitations suggest opportunities for future research with broader geographical scope, mixed methods, and longitudinal designs. The findings provide actionable insights for Maxride's development team to improve the app's user interface and functionality, particularly in terms of ease of use. Addressing these issues could enhance user satisfaction, retention, and potentially drive business growth.Improving the usability of ride-hailing apps like Maxride can contribute to better urban mobility solutions, potentially impacting transportation habits and quality of life in cities like Makassar.This study represents the first comprehensive usability analysis of the Maxride application, providing valuable insights for both the company and the broader ride-hailing industry in Indonesia. It establishes a baseline for future usability research in this sector and demonstrates the application of the USE Questionnaire method in evaluating mobile app usability.
