Artikel ini membahas tentang strategi perpustakaan dalam sumber belajar di perpustakaan MTs pondok pesantren kecamatan Padang Hulu Kota Tebing Tinggi. Adapun tujuan yang ingin di capai dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi perpustakaan dalam memnuhi sumber belajar di perpustakaan MTs pondok pesantren kecamatan Padang Hulu Kota Tebing Tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Dengan menggunakan Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.infirman pada penelitian ini yaitu pustakawan yang ada di perpustakaan Pondok pesantren dan guru-guru yang ada di pesantren Al-Hasimiyah Kecamatan Padang hulu Kota Tebing Tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi perpustakaan sebagai sumber belajar di perpustakaan MTs. Pondok Pesantren Al-Hasimiyah Kecamatan Padang Hulu Kota Tebing Tinggi yaitu dalam bentuk kegiatan menulis cerita pendek dan memberikan reward kepada santri paling rajin keperpustakaan dan memanfaatkan perpustakaan sebagai sumber belajar di perpustakaan MTs pondok pesantren Al-Hasimiyah kota tebing tinggi. Strategi perpustakaan dalam sumber belajar bertujuan untuk menambah wawasan bagi para siswa/siswi di perpustakaan MTS podnok Pesantren Modern Al-Hasimiyah Kecamatan Padang Hulu Kota Tebing Tinggi. This study intends to clarify the function and accomplishment of library volunteers in attracting patrons to the Indonesian Bank's North Sumatra representative office library. This study uses a qualitative case study methodology at the Library of the Bank Indonesia Representative Office in North Sumatra. The research findings take the form of information about the contribution and effectiveness of library volunteers in promoting the library of the Bank Indonesia representative office in North Sumatra. Library volunteers collected the information. Techniques for gathering data include observation, interviewing, and documenting. At the same time, data analysis is accomplished by data reduction, presentation, inference, and verification. According to the study's findings, a volunteer librarian at the Bank Indonesia North Sumatra representative office assisted the librarian in carrying out outreach efforts to promote the public to the library. Additionally, library volunteers participate in all the activities the library undertakes and participate in library promotion efforts. Several marketing initiatives have been implemented, such as POCABI, the Library Competition, North Sumatra's creative works, webinars, podcasts, book exhibitions, book reviews, etc. Due to the rapid growth of social media and the enthusiasm of millennials, library volunteers also promote the library online. Young, talented library volunteers also run and design the libraries on social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Additionally, they frequently share information about reading interests and literacy with the material.

Adapun penulis membuat penelitian untuk mengetahui kualitas dari website perpustakaan Universitas Asahan menggunakan Metode Webqual 4.0 dengan kemudahan pengguna, kualitas informasi dan kualitas interaksi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan angket sebagai alat pegumpulan data yang diperoleh dari responden. Teknik sampling yang digunakan untuk menentukan sampel adalah teknik sampling isidental yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel dengan mengandalkan keberadaan subjek untuk dijadikan sampel yaitu siapa saja yang secara kebetulan bertemu dengan peneliti dan dpandang cocok sebagai sumber data maka subjek tersebut dijadikan sampel. Hasil penelitian ini didapat bahwa kualitas website perpustakaan Universitas Asahan cukup baik yaitu ditinjau dari kemudahan pengguna nilai presentase sebesar 61%, kualitas informasi dengan nilai presentase sebesar 66% dan kualitas interaksi dengan nilai presentase sebesar 71%

This study aims to find out how the Effect of Using the Zoom Application as a Communication Media on the Learning Activity Process of Communication Studies Students at UIN North Sumatra. The theory used by the author is the theory of New Media and Uses And Effects. The object of this research is the user of the Zoom application as a communication medium in the online learning process. The method used is a quantitative correlation method with a single table data analysis technique and hypothesis testing. Then the results obtained through Hypothesis Testing that the Effect of Using the Zoom Application as a Communication Media on the Learning Activity Process of Communication Science Students at UIN North Sumatra shows a correlation coefficient (rho) of 0.450 with a significance number of 0.000, which means H0 is rejected if the value is <0.05 and Ha received. With the strength of the influence of variable X on variable Y of 20, %. So there is an influence as a communication medium of 20% between the use of the Zoom application on the learning activities of students in Communication Science at UIN North Sumatra.

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas Dinamika Tradisi Malem Selikuran di Desa Tanjung Pasir Kecamatan Kualuh Selatan Labuhanbatu Utara, Provinsi Sumatera Utara dari tahun 2013-2023. Tradisi Malem Selikuran merupakan tradisi berdoa untuk menyambut malam Laitul Qadar, juga sebagai doa rasa syukur atas Khataman. Artikel ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian sejarah, pengumpulan data penelitian ini diperoleh berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan observasi. Kebudayaan Jawa merupakan salah satu kebudayaan penting diantara kebudayaan daerah lainnya dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara pada masa lampau dan saat ini. Dalam kebudayaan dan kehidupan Jawa terkandung nilai-nilai yang menjadi pedoman dan pegangan hidup masyarakat. Salah satu budaya yang paling yang paling terkenal bagi umat Islam Jawa yaitu Tradisi Malem Selikuran. Secara historis, tradisi ini mengingatkan kita bagaimana Islam dan budaya Jawa memiliki ciri khas integrasi dalam sejarah Islamisasi di Jawa, tradisi Malem Selikuran merupakan karya kreatif umat Islam di Jawa dalam rangka memberikan identitas pada komunitasnya.Berbagai ungkapan simbolis dalam tradisi Malem Selikuran banyak mengandung nilai–nilai sosial budaya yang sudah terbukti sangat bermanfaat untuk menjaga keseimbangan, keselarasan kehidupan masyarakat dari waktu ke waktu.

This research focuses on the history and architecture of Bagas Godang in Huta Godang Village, Ulu Pungkut Sub-district, Mandailing Natal Regency, and the meaning of its ornaments. The purpose of this research is to understand the historical background and architectural details of Bagas Godang and the meaning of the various ornaments contained in it. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through direct observation, interviews, and analysis of documents, books, photos, and videos. The results showed that the current Bagas Godang is the second building built by King Junjungan Lubis and the people of Huta Godang, after the previous building burned down without knowing when exactly the event occurred. Bagas Godang is characterized by Mandailing architecture with wooden construction, rectangular in shape, supported by an odd number of large timbers, and consists of a vestibule, living room, sleeping room, and kitchen. The roof is in the form of a dolok-arched tarup, with a wide door that makes a loud sound when opened. There are 26 types of ornaments that reflect traditional symbols and create an official agreement on the decoration of Mandailing traditional houses. This research provides an in-depth insight into Mandailing's cultural heritage and traditional architecture.

This research examines the historical arrival of Islam in Pagaran Bira Jae Village, Padang Lawas Regency, North Sumatra, and explores its development in the realms of economics, education, and Islamic heritage. The arrival of Islam in this area is significant, as Pagaran Bira Jae was one of the first regions in Padang Lawas to embrace the religion. The spread of Islam in Pagaran Bira Jae is closely tied to trade activities, and prominent religious figures like Sheikh Jired and Malim Mudo I played a crucial role in its dissemination. The research also links the Padri War and the influence of West Sumatran and Tapanuli ulama in shaping religious growth. In terms of physical heritage, Pagaran Bira Jae and Pagaran Bira Julu house several religious institutions, including mosques, surau, and madrasahs, as well as Islamic relics such as the tomb of a saint named Jired, which bears Arabic inscriptions and Pallawa script, possibly from Gujarat, India. This study employs historical methods to provide a comprehensive understanding of the local Islamic legacy.

Sheikh Abdul Wahab Lubis, a prominent Islamic scholar from Mandailing Natal, specifically Muara Mais, played a crucial role in the propagation of Islam in the region. This study delves into the biography and contributions of Sheikh Abdul Wahab Lubis in spreading Islam throughout Mandailing Natal. Utilizing a qualitative research methodology, data were gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation. Born in 1919 and passing away in 1991, Sheikh Abdul Wahab Lubis was well-versed in Islamic jurisprudence. His efforts to disseminate Islam were executed through direct community engagement and educational initiatives, notably by establishing the Darul Ulum Islamic boarding school in Muara Mais. This institution not only provided religious education but also became a center for community development and spiritual guidance. This research provides valuable insights into Sheikh Abdul Wahab Lubis's significant contributions to reinforcing Islamic teachings, fostering religious education, and nurturing the younger generation through his pesantren, thereby leaving a lasting legacy in Mandailing Natal.

This study aims to determine ICT-based library management because the rapid development of technology makes significant changes, especially in information technology. Related to the development of information technology, libraries have also changed from conventional libraries to digital libraries. Library as an information center in the face of technological developments, namely by managing libraries using library management based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as library management. This development can be felt now with many libraries using Infomation and Communication Technology (ICT) as management in libraries. This type of research is descriptive with qualitative methods. The techniques used for data collection are interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis using three stages, namely: data reduction, presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study show that ICT-based library management is able to improve services and use in libraries, as well as make it easier for students to obtain books and information needed because in its services it does not have a difficult process but is faced with a lack of human resources (Human Resources) in ICT management.
