Abstract

Pariwisata dapat dikatakan sebagai modal yang dinilai penting dimiliki oleh sebuah daerah. Kabupaten Simalungun mempunyai pariwisata yang harus dikomunikasikan untuk masyarakat. Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Simalungun adalah salah satu lembaga pelibatan pariwisata yang diberi mandat untuk mempromosikan obyek wisata yang tersedia. Penelitian yang dilakukan memiliki tujuan mengeksplorasi sarana digital untuk komunikasi pemasaran pariwisata Tigaras. Penelitian ini memakai jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif untuk menjelaskan secara akurat melalui kegiatan komunikasi pemasaran pariwisata Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Simalungun. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara. Berdasarkan data-data hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwasanya kegiatan komunikasi pemasaran oleh Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Simalungun. Sebagai bagian dari marketing communication, Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata lebih banyak memanfaatkan situs e-commerce seperti tiket.com, traveloka, pegi-pegi dan internet marketing. Melalui materi cetak seperti brosur dan spanduk, kegiatan komunikasi pemasaran pariwisata memberikan efek positif dan respon baik bagi pariwisata di Kabupaten Simalungun karena direncanakan dan dilakukan dengan sebaik-baiknya. Hal ini dapat memberikan peningkatan angka wisatawan, serta berdampak positif untuk pembentukan citra wisata Kabupaten Simalungun.

Abstract

The digital era has changed the way consumers interact with products and services, with e-commerce becoming one of the main platforms used by customers to shop online, with e-commerce becoming of the main platforms used by customers to shop online. In this context, the role of digital influencers as key drivers in shaping consumer preferences and shopping behavior is increasingly receiving significant attention. TikTok, a social media platform that is experiencing rapid growth, has introduced an e-commerce feature known as TikTok Shop. This research was created to find out the role and influence of digital influencers in shaping consumer buying interest in the e-commerce TikTok Shop. This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kantor Bank Indonesia Provinsi Sumatera Utara merupakan salah satu Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia yang berlokasi di Sumatera Utara dan memiliki tujuan utama untuk mencapai dan menjaga kestabilan nilai rupiah. Dalam mencapai hal tersebut, Bank Indonesia telah menerapkan strategi komunikasi dengan pemanngku kepentingan khususnya UMKM dengan program pemberdayaan UMKM melalui Program Sosial Bank Indonesia dan UMKM Binaan Khususnya di UMKM IR & IR Songket Deli. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Kemudian, setelah data terkumpul, peneliti melakukan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah tujuh orang dan dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dimana tiga diantaranya merupakan pegawai Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Provinsi Sumatera Utara dan lima orang berasal dari UMKM IR & IR Songket Deli. Hasil penelitian menujukkan proses pelaksanaan, bentuk dan juga manfaat peran corporate social responsibility Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Provinsi Sumatera Utara. ABSTRACT The North Sumatra Province Bank Indonesia Office is one of the Bank Indonesia Representative Offices in North Sumatra and has the main objective of achieving and maintaining the stability of the rupiah value. In order to achieve this goal, Bank Indonesia has implemented a communication strategy with stakeholders, especially MSMEs, with the MSME empowerment program through the Bank Indonesia Social Program and MSMEs assisted, especially in IR & IR Songket Deli MSMEs. This study uses a qualitative method by collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. Then, after the data is collected, the researcher will perform data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. There were seven informants in this study and were selected using a purposive sampling technique, of which three were employees of The North Sumatra Province Bank Indonesia Office and five were from SMEs IR & IR Songket Deli. The results of the study show the implementation process, form and benefits of the role of corporate social responsibility at the Bank Indonesia Representative Office, North Sumatra Province.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi yang digunakan humas Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia dalam meningkatkan citra kepada masyarakat sebagai lembaga yang bergerak di bidang hukum dan hak asasi manusia, yang kedua ingin mengetahui lebih jauh tentang hukum dan hak asasi manusia. proses pelayanan khususnya dalam pelayanan publikasi informasi publik pencitraan di kantor Kementerian Hukum dan HAM. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah dua orang, yaitu Kasubbag Reformasi Birokrasi, Humas, dan Divisi Teknologi Informasi, Program dan Pelaporan. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah wawancara mendalam, dan studi kepustakaan. Teknik analisis data adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Humas Kanwil Kemenkum HAM Sumut menggunakan strategi publikasi dalam upaya pencitraan instansi tersebut. Publikasi dilakukan melalui media cetak dan media online serta bekerjasama dengan wartawan dan juga surat kabar nasional dan lokal untuk mempublikasikan semua kegiatan yang telah, dan sedang dilakukan. ABSTRACT This study aims to find out how the strategy used by a public relations officer at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in improving the image to the public as an agency engaged in law and human rights, the second one wants to know more about the legal service process, especially in the publication of public information services in the imaging of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights office. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. There were two informants in this study, namely the Head of Sub-section for bureaucratic reform, public relations, and information technology, program and reporting division. Data collection techniques are in-depth interviews, and literature study. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The result of this research is that the Public Relations of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of North Sumatra uses a publication strategy in an effort to image the agency. Publication is carried out through print media and online media and in collaboration with journalists and also national and local newspapers to publish all activities that have been, and are being carried out.

Abstract

Coronaviruss disease or Covid-19 has changed the whole order of life including places of worship, especially for Muslims. To reduce the rate of spread of the virus, various routine activities normally carried out by the BKM A-IHikmah organization must be closed and stopped even for a while. In addition, communication within the BKM Al-Hikmah organization must also be limited due to the Covid-19 pandemic as in the BKM organization in the Bandar Selamat sub-district, one of which is BKM Al-Hikmah. The purpose of this study was to find out how the organizational communication climate of the Al-Hikmah Mosque Prosperity Board in Bandar Selamat Village was during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive design. Data collection methods used in this study were interviews and observation. The informants in this study were the Chairperson of the Al-Hikmah Mosque Prosperity Agency (BKM) and the BKM Al-Hikmah Dakwah Coordinator.The results of this study are the communication climate that occurs in the Al-Hikmah Mosque Kenaziran Board (BKM) organization in Bandar Selamat Village during the Covid-19 Pandemic Period as seen from the five values ​​in the communication climate such as the value of support, the value of participation in decision making, the value of trust, openness , and candor, as well as the value of high work goals.The communication climate of the BKM Al-Hikmah organization during the Covid-19 pandemic was a good climate and felt constructive by members of the organization because of mutual respect, motivation and encouragement for members of the organization to be even better. The existence of a good communication climate will make members of the organization form good interactions among members of the organization.

Abstract

Basically humans are born as individual beings who are not separate, not divided between their soul and body. Human development as an individual being does not only mean the unity of body and soul. Humans have characteristics with their own personality patterns. This difference teaches that humans cannot live without other humans. The peace that we feel is born from good communication. Therefore, inheriting skills in communication and ethics needs an education that becomes a vehicle for learning for generations of the nation.

Abstract

Harian Waspada is a print media company that was founded in 1947. During that time, this company managed to attract the attention of the people of Medan, especially the city of Medan, who were looking for information through print media. The public relations strategy in building the company's image for the public is the main factor that makes Harian Waspada famous and in great demand. Therefore, the author wants to find out how Waspada's public relations strategy builds the company's image as new knowledge for personal writers and other audiences.

Abstract

This study explores the historical significance and cultural legacy of the Negeri Padang Kingdom, located in Tebing Tinggi City, Sumatra. The research seeks to answer how the material and immaterial heritage of the kingdom continues to shape the region’s identity. Using a qualitative approach and historical methodology, data were collected through in-depth interviews with local historians and community elders, field observations at heritage sites, and analysis of archival documents. The findings reveal five major historical relics that remain central to the local cultural landscape: the Negeri Padang Royal Palace, Nur Addin Mosque, the Royal Family Cemetery, the Balai Kerapatan (Council Hall), and Padang Stadium. Each site carries deep symbolic and historical meaning, reflecting the kingdom’s social, religious, and political influence in the region. The study underscores the importance of these sites in maintaining cultural continuity and identity among local communities. Furthermore, it contributes to broader scholarly efforts in preserving and documenting regional history and cultural heritage in Eastern Sumatra. The research not only enriches the historiography of local kingdoms in Indonesia but also emphasizes the urgency of safeguarding such legacies amid rapid urban development and modernization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas kinerja himpunan mahasiswa jurusan di UINSU terhadap mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi dan untuk memahami bagaimana pola komunikasi organisasi mempengaruhi persepsi mahasiswa tentang efektivitas kinerja himpunan mahasiswa jurusan di UINSU. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui survei yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa jurusan Ilmu Komunikasi di Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner online yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa semester IV jurusan Ilmu Komunikasi di Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatra Utara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persepsi mahasiswa terhadap efektivitas kinerja HMJ termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, dengan persentase 86% untuk kepuasan terhadap program kerja dan keterlibatan mahasiswa, 79% untuk efektivitas komunikasi, serta 75% untuk manfaat kegiatan bagi pengembangan diri.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media sosial khususnya pada aplikasi telegram terhadap perilaku komunikasi remaja di era digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik survei. Data dikumpulkan dari 21 remaja di Medan, Indonesia, menggunakan kuesioner yang mengukur intensitas penggunaan telegram dan perilaku komunikasi remaja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan negatif media sosial terhadap perilaku komunikasi remaja. Pengaruh positifnya adalah media sosial dapat meningkatkan frekuensi dan intensitas komunikasi remaja, serta memperluas jaringan pertemanan mereka. Sedangkan pengaruh negatifnya adalah media sosial dapat menyebabkan cyberbullying, kecemasan sosial, dan kecanduan. Kesimpulannya, media sosial memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap perilaku komunikasi remaja di era digital. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya edukasi dan pendampingan orang tua dan guru dalam membantu remaja menggunakan media sosial secara bijak dan bertanggung jawab.
