Abstract

Poverty in South Sumatera remains a complex challenge influenced by socioeconomic factors. Traditional methods often fail to capture nonlinear relationships critical for accurate prediction. This study enhances poverty prediction by optimizing feature engineering using 32-variable socioeconomic data from South Sumatra for the years 2019 to 2023. Data preprocessing included cleaning, imputation, normalization, and outlier handling. Feature aggregation created composite indices: Education Index (P1, P2, P3), Health Index (AH1–AH4), Economic Index (IE, GR, AI, EG), and Healthcare Workforce Index (HW1–HW9). Feature interaction derived ratios such as Income vs. Economy (AN/Education Index), Infrastructure vs. Health (road length/Healthcare Workforce Index), and Unemployment vs. Workforce (HI/AT), highlighting interdependencies. Dimensionality reduction (PCA) and Lasso Regression selected eight key predictors, including Year and Poverty Level. Among tested models, Random Forest performed best (R²=0.7244, MAE=0.2489). SHAP analysis identified Education and Economic Indices as top predictors. Optimized feature engineering improved model accuracy and interpretability, supporting targeted poverty reduction strategies in South Sumatera.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  The point of the study is to measure experimentally the relationship of macroeconomic variables (Currency and GDP) on Non-Performing Loan (NPL) and the implication on the Profitability of finance companies in South Sumatera Province from 2015 to 2018. The inquiry about information comprised the monetary measurement of a fund company in South Sumatera Province from 2015 to 2018 and macroeconomic factors measurement (currency and GDP) from 2015 to 2018. The research method is quantitative, with regression technic and backed by the SPSS program. The inquiry about result has appeared that the macroeconomic variables (Currency and GDP) with an intervening variable by Non-Performing Loan are affected on profitability (ROA). Keywords: Currency,GDP, Non Performing Loan, Profitability, ROA, Path Analysis ABSTRAK Kajian ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk mengukur  secara ilmiah hubungan antara  variabel makro ekonomi (Kurs dan PDB) terhadap tingkat Piutang Bermasalah serta implikasinya terhadap profitabilitas (ROA) perusahaan pembiayaan di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan tahun 2015 sampai 2018.  Penelitian ini menggunakan data statistik keuangan lembaga pembiayaan di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan serta statistik makro ekonomi (Kurs dan PDB) dari tahun  2015 sampai dengan tahun 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, data dianalisa dengan metode regresi linier berganda dan  path analysis, data diuji dengan program SPSS.  Kajian ini  menunjukkan Variabel makro ekonomi (Kurs dan PDB) melalui NPL sebagai variabel intervening berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas (ROA) perusahaan pembiayaan di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan.Kata Kunci: Kurs, PDB, NPL, Profitabilitas, ROA, Path Analysis

Abstract

Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Palembang telah menerapkan pendekatan inovatif untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan aksesibilitas melalui pengenalan Platform E-Government. Untuk mendapatkan tanggapan masyarakat, sangat penting untuk mengukur kepuasan pengguna terhadap Layanan Website sebagai langkah awal dalam proses perbaikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai Layanan Website Disdukcapil dengan mengidentifikasi tingkat kepuasan pengguna, mengevaluasi kinerja platform, dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan guna meningkatkan efektivitas layanan. Indikator diambil dari Indeks Layanan Publik Elektronik, dengan pengujian validasi menggunakan SPSS, dan Metode Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) digunakan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana kinerja aktual suatu variabel sesuai dengan harapan pengguna. Penelitian ini menghasilkan indeks layanan elektronik sebesar 3,417, menunjukkan penilaian yang sangat baik terhadap layanan E-Government. Namun, uji sampel berpasangan mengungkapkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kinerja aktual dan harapan pengguna. Analisis ini menegaskan perlunya perbaikan layayan guna meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna. Rekomendasi perbaikan yang dihasilkan dari analisis ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap efektivitas layanan publik elektronik di Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Palembang.

Abstract

This research is a literature review journal which aims to gain an in-depth understanding of creativity and the importance of creativity for an entrepreneur in developing and building a mindset in order to improve a creative mindset. An entrepreneur must be able to compete and always be able to improve the quality of his productivity. One way is by being creative. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research with a systematic literature review approach, by conducting a study of articles published in national journals on the topic of creativity and entrepreneurship. The results of this research show the importance of creativity in entrepreneurship. This is confirmed by previous research which concluded that creativity has a significant effect on entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of creativity and innovation on entrepreneurial competence. The research method used was a survey using a questionnaire with a Likert scale given to 50 respondents who were MSME entrepreneurs in the city of Palembang. Entrepreneurs who operate in small businesses produce quite a lot of creative products. However, the existence of small businesses does not require growth. Many small businesses are not able to survive for long and easily experience bankruptcy. Questionnaires that have been answered by respondents are then processed and analyzed with the help of the SPSS application. The research results show that creativity does not have a positive influence on entrepreneurial competence, while innovation has a positive influence on entrepreneurial competence.

Abstract

Information technology in this era has become a common thing both among children, adolescents and even the elderly. The development of information technology in this era has an important role in carrying out an activity both in the Education, Work, and the scope of daily life. One form of the result of the development of technology and information is innovation and creativity, one of which is in media marketing. . Collaboration between technology and communication can be applied through one of the Instagram application media. The purpose of this study was to measure the influence of creativity and innovation on promotion. This study used quantitative methods involving 78 respondents in the STIE APRIN Palembang environment, research data was obtained by distributing a closed questionnaire through google form. The results showed that creativity and innovation affect promotion.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKeberhasilan pasar tradisional sangat bergantung pada sistem pengelolaan pasar. Sejak pandemi COVID-19 pada tahun 2020, terjadi penurunan omset penjualan di Pasar Sekojo. Oleh karena itu, inovasi manajemen pasar perlu dilakukan untuk membantu mendefinisikan kebutuhan pedagang, pembeli, dan pengurus pasar yang lebih baik. Tujuan dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah menerapkan Market Management One Gate System (MMOGS) untuk meningkatkan omset penjualan. Konsep MMOGS bertujuan membangun sistem manajemen pasar yang berfokus pada penguatan kolaborasi bisnis bersama dengan tujuan memberikan keuntungan finansial bagi pedagang, pembeli, dan pengelola pasar. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi sosialisasi model MMOGS kepada pedagang di Pasar Sekojo serta pelatihan bagi anggota UMKM Mitra Kodam II Sriwijaya untuk menerapkan model MMOGS ini. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM ini mencakup peningkatan omset penjualan sebesar 20%, nilai kepuasan pembeli mencapai 73%, kenaikan pendapatan pedagang hingga 30% dalam 6 bulan pertama, dan terciptanya lapangan kerja bagi pedagang. Kata Kunci : pasar tradisional; manajemen pengelolaan pasar; market management one gate system (mmogs) ABSTRACTThe success of traditional markets depends heavily on the market management system. Since the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, there has been a decline in sales turnover at Pasar Sekojo. Therefore, market management innovations need to be carried out to help better define the needs of traders, buyers, and market administrators. The purpose of this PKM activity is to implement the Market Management One Gate System (MMOGS) to increase sales turnover. The MMOGS concept aims to build a market management system that focuses on strengthening joint business collaboration with the aim of providing financial benefits for traders, buyers, and market managers. The activities carried out include socializing the MMOGS model to traders in Sekojo Market and training for members of the Sriwijaya Kodam II Partner MSMEs to implement this MMOGS model. The results of this PKM activity include an increase in sales turnover by 20%, buyer satisfaction scores reaching 73%, an increase in trader income of up to 30% in the first 6 months, and the creation of jobs for traders. Keywords: market management; market management one gate system; traditional market

Abstract

SME sustainability plays a crucial role in strengthening local and national economies; however, many enterprises face high risks due to limited access to capital, demand volatility, and disparities in operational capacity. This study aims to develop an SME sustainability prediction model using composite index–based pseudo-labeling and ensemble machine learning. Pseudo-labels are constructed from six key indicators revenue, profit, operating costs, average production volume, business scale, and number of employees and categorized into three sustainability classes. The dataset consists of 400 SMEs operating in Palembang City, with Random Forest based feature selection employed to identify the most relevant variables. The evaluated base models include Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, Random Forest, Support Vector Machine, and Gradient Boosting, while ensemble approaches comprise Bagging, Boosting, and Stacking. The results indicate that Logistic Regression achieves perfect accuracy (100%) on the test set, suggesting potential overfitting, whereas the Stacking ensemble provides more stable predictions with an F1-score of 0.918. Statistical validation using the Friedman and Wilcoxon tests confirms the superior performance of ensemble models compared to single learners. The contributions of this study include an objective pseudo-labeling method for unlabeled datasets and the development of a robust predictive model that can support policymakers and SME stakeholders in identifying sustainability risks and implementing evidence-based interventions.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan agar tumbuh inovasi di masyarakat guna memberi kemajuan dalam bidang digital marketing laporan keuangan dan inovasi produk. Mitra pada pengabdian ini adalah UMKM Usaha Mandiri yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara. Bidang usaha yang dilakukan adalah pengolahan pedo serbuk sebagai produk bernilai ekonomis tinggi yang berasal dari ikan anak sungai Rupit. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini meningkatan pada softskill, hardskill inovasi teknologi dan marketing bisnis, serta pencatatan keuangan. Tujuan pelatihan digital marketing agar produk dapat dikenal oleh konsumen secara luas dan dapat melakukan pencatatan laporan keuangan secara akurat dan tepat waktu dari Tim Universitas Indo Global Mandiri. Sistem evaluasi dilaksanakan guna mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman kualitas produk, digital marketing dan cara membuat laporan keuangan, guna peningkatan penjualan produk ikan pedo serbuk. Rata-rata peningkatan keseluruhan mencapai 1.78%, hal ini menunjukkan dampak pelatihan PKM dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang rumit.Abstract: This Community Service aims to grow innovation in society in order to provide progress in the field of digital marketing, financial reports and product innovation. The partners in this service are the Mandiri Business MSMEs located in North Musi Rawas Regency. The line of business carried out is processing pedo powder as a product of high economic value originating from fish tributaries of the Rupit River. The results of this community service increase soft skills, hard skills, technological innovation and business marketing, as well as financial recording. The aim of digital marketing training is so that products can be widely known by consumers and can record financial reports accurately and on time from the Indo Global Mandiri University Team. The evaluation system was implemented to determine increased understanding of product quality, digital marketing and how to make financial reports, in order to increase sales of powdered pedo fish products. The overall average increase reached 1.78%, this shows the impact of PKM training in overcoming complex problems.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the capacity and role of Posyandu Delima 33 cadres in community-based waste management as an effort to prevent stunting in Lorok Pakjo Subdistrict, Ilir Barat I District, Palembang City. The problems faced by the community include low awareness of household waste management and a lack of understanding of the relationship between environmental cleanliness and the incidence of stunting in children. Through this activity, training, mentoring, and education were provided to Posyandu cadres on the 3R concept (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), composting of organic waste, and the utilization of inorganic waste as educational media for stunting prevention. In addition, the activity initiated the establishment of a mini waste bank as a platform for environmentally based family economic empowerment. The methods used included a participatory approach through lectures, discussions, hands-on practice, and evaluation of activity achievements. The results showed an increase in the cadres’ knowledge and skills in waste management, as well as increased community awareness of the importance of a clean environment in preventing stunting. This activity also strengthened synergy between higher education institutions, local government, and the community in creating a healthy, sustainable, and stunting-free environment.  Keywords community empowerment; posyandu; waste management; stunting; waste bank.
