Abstract

Pendahuluan: Partus lama merupakan salah satu penyebab kematian ibu dengan presentase sebanyak 20% dari semua kasus penyebab kematian ibu dan penyebab partus lama 60% adalah his inadekuat. His inadekuat dapat terjadi karena banyaknya ibu bersalin yang mengalami fase aktif lebih dari 6 jam dan percepatan pembukaan serviks kurang dari 1 jam/cm. Tujuan: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian teh telur terhadap lama persalinan kala I di RSUD Lubuk Sikaping. Metode: jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi experiment dengan desain post test only none quevalent control. Penelitian ini dilakasanakan di RSUD Lubuk Sikaping dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 20 orang (10 kelompok kontrol dan 10 kelompok perlakuan), perlakuan pemberian teh telur dilakukan sejak awal mulai proses persalinan. Hasil: penelitian menunjukan ditemukan rata-rata persalinan pada kelompok kontrol 3,3 jam dan rata-rata persalinan pada kelompok perlakuan 2,6 jam. Terdapat pengaruh pemberian teh telur terhadap lama persalinan kala I, dengan hasil nilai a symp.sig 0,26 α 0,05. Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh pemberian teh telur terhadap lama persalinan kala I RSUD Lubuk Sikaping.

Abstract

Abstract Family medicinal plants have long been an integral part of traditional healthcare practices across various cultures worldwide. Communities have relied on these plants as a source of remedies for mild health issues and as environmentally-friendly alternatives to healthcare. The use of family medicinal plants is often rooted in generational knowledge that has proven effective in alleviating symptoms of illnesses. This research aims to improve the knowledge of mothers with toddlers regarding family medicinal plants as an effort to preserve local culture in Basilam Bukit Lambasa. Through education and training methods, it is hoped that the local community can utilize family medicinal plants as an alternative form of treatment while preserving their cultural heritage. Pre-Education Results: It was found that 68% of mothers with toddlers had basic knowledge about family medicinal plants, but only 20% of them incorporated this knowledge into their daily lives. Post-Education Results: After participating in the training program, 85% of mothers with toddlers demonstrated an increased understanding of family medicinal plants, and 50% of them began to utilize these plants in their daily lives.

Abstract

Stress during pregnancy is significantly caused by factors of economic difficulties, household problems, physical violence, medical problems, busy activities, work and history of pregnancy with complications. The research design used was an analytic survey research with a cross-sectional study approach, aiming to find out the relationship between pregnant women's knowledge about physical changes during pregnancy and stress levels in the Technical Implementation Unit at the Public Health Center of Kuala Pemburan 1, Central Kalimantan province in 2022. The number of samples in this study as many as 32 people. With total sampling technique. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire used to obtain chi square data. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between knowledge and stress levels by using the chi squre test at an error rate of 5%, the result is that the value of p = 0.021 <α (0.05). It is recommended for pregnant women, information about changes in body physiology that occur during pregnancy by seeking information from various media, asking questions and answers about pregnancy from a doctor or midwife when carrying out a pregnancy check-up.

Abstract

Stress within certain limits can have a positive impact and motivate us to achieve a goal. If stress is left unchecked it can build up. There are three stages of psychological adaptation during the postpartum period, namely taking in, taking hold and letting go. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between mother's knowledge (taking in, taking hold and letting go) with stress events in postpartum mothers. This study is an analytic study with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique used in this study was non-probability sampling in the form of accidental sampling. The population is 265 postpartum mothers at the pepper plantation health center in Langkat district. Sampling technique with accidental sampling as many as 72 respondents. The bivariate test uses the chi square test. The results showed that the majority age of postpartum mothers was 21-35 years as many as 51 people (70.8%). The education of the majority of postpartum mothers is junior high school as many as 31 people (43.1%). The majority of postpartum mothers work as farmers with 43 people (59.7%). Knowledge of the majority of postpartum mothers is lacking as many as 45 people (62.5%). The incidence of stress on postpartum mothers was 49 people (68.1%). There is a relationship between postpartum mother's knowledge about Postpartum Psychological Adaptation (taking In, Taking Hold and letting Go) with stress events during the postpartum period.

Abstract

The maternal mortality rate in 2021 was 1,188 cases. Another cause of maternal death is complications of pregnancy, one of which is anemia. Anemia is a condition where the erythrocyte period or the circulating hemoglobin period cannot fulfill its function to transport oxygen to body tissues. to prevent anemia pregnant women are advised to take Fe tablets. The research design used is a Cross sectional study, aiming to determine the Factors That Affect Compliance of Pregnant Women Consuming Iron Tablets (FE) in the Independent Practice of Midwives Istiqomah Raheim Simpang Padang Village, Bengkalis Regency in 2022. The total sample was 75 people with total sampling technique. Data collection tools using questionnaires. In this study the data were analyzed univariately and bivariately with the Chi-Square Test. the relationship of knowledge of pregnant women with compliance with consuming iron tablets (Fe) with a p value = 0.004 (P < 0.05), There is no relationship between the age of pregnant women with compliance with consuming iron tablets (Fe) with a p value = 0.499(P >0.05), There is no relationship between parity of pregnant women and compliance with consuming iron tablets (Fe) with a p value = 0.617 (P > 0.05). There is no relationship between the pregnancy distance of pregnant women and adherence to consuming iron tablets (Fe) with a p value = 0.571 (P >0.05)

Abstract

Healthy conditions will be achieved if changing behavior from unhealthy to healthy behavior in order to create a healthy environment. Behavior is an individual's response to stimulation both from outside and from within him. PHBS (Clean and Healthy Living Behavior) is a set of behaviors that are practiced on the basis of awareness as a result of learning, which makes a person or family able to help themselves in the health sector and play an active role in realizing public health. Couples of Childbearing Age are married couples whose wives are between 15 and 49 years old or married couples whose wives are less than 15 years old and menstruating or whose wives are more than 50 years old, but still menstruating (menstruating). This activity was carried out by providing counseling about clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) in RW 07 mega marina, white sand complex, Koto Tangah sub-district. The purpose of this activity is: to improve the quality of life of the elderly and the human development index (IPM). at RW 07 mega marina, white sand complex, Koto Tangah sub-district. Activity results: During the implementation of this community service activity, couples of childbearing age (PUS) have been able to carry out clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS). So that couples of childbearing age (EFA) are able to improve the quality of life and the human development index (IPM).

Abstract

This study investigates the use of traditional medicine by patients with chronic diseases to understand the factors that influence this practice. The aim of the study was to identify patterns of traditional medicine use, perceived effectiveness, and factors that influence usage decisions. The method used was in-depth interviews with 10 participants representing a variety of ages, genders, and socio-economic backgrounds. The results showed that cultural beliefs, social environmental influences, and perceived effectiveness of traditional medicine play an important role in usage decisions. The implication of this study is the need for an integrated approach in chronic disease management, which incorporates the appropriate use of traditional medicine with conventional medical practices to improve the quality of treatment.

Abstract

Normal breasts number in a pair and are always located on the chest - there is an abnormality when there are additional breasts that are not located on the chest but in other parts of the body, for example the armpits. Breast cancer is a type of cancer that attacks the breast organs, where cells in the breast divide and grow out of control. This cancer is one of the most common types of cancer suffered by people, especially women. Early Detection of Breast Cancer, can be done with BSE (Breast Self-Examination). Midwives are at the forefront who accompany women of all ages, midwives have access to educate women to do BSE. The research design used is analytic. This type of research uses a cross sectional approach. The population of this study were all young women aged 16-19 with the age range in the UPT area. Sigumpar Health Center, Kec. Sigumpar consisted of 35 young women. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling. From the results of the statistical analysis of the chi-square test, the p-value = 0.005 was obtained. Statistically, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between the midwife's role in providing health promotion to adolescents about BSE at UPT. Sigumpar Health Center, Kec. Sigumpar. It is recommended that midwives provide more creative, interesting and innovative promotions.

Abstract

Many factors can affect maternal mortality, one of which is caused by anemia in pregnancy. Anemia is a medical condition in which the number of red blood cells or hemoglobin is less than normal Anemia can be caused by several factors. There are direct and indirect factors. The direct factors are the adequacy of consumption of blood-added tablets, pregnancy interval, parity, nutritional status, and infectious diseases. The main cause of anemia is a lack of iron intake in food or blood-added tablets. The incidence of anemia is caused by a lack of iron intake. This research uses crossectional design. The population in this study was the mother of the baby in Sipahutar Public Health Center as much as 42 people, and samples used the total sampling. Data analysis using Chi Square test. The results showed no relationship age (0.00), knowledge (0,00) While the parity had no relationship (0.23) with the incidence of anemia. It is hoped that the expectant mothers are expected to spend time visiting the Puskesmas to follow the counseling or health promotion about the impact of anemia in pregnant women so that pregnant women can have good knowledge.
