Abstract

Visual-spatial intelligence is the ability to understand picture and shape including the ability to interpret the invisible space dimension. Visual-spatial intelligence have the characteristics they are the sensitivity toward line, color, shape, space, balance, the ability of imagine, interpreting the idea visually and spatially, so it is rests on the sharpness of seeing and the accuracy of observing. Optimized of visual-spatial intelligence in children at the early childhood development can be done through building games by using beam as the media which have been available in the center of beams. The existence of building play is the media to practice the ability that is needed by the children and also to stimulate the ability of children to create the thoughts, ideas, and concepts. The objective of this study is to know the increase in visual-spatial intelligence which is reached by the children at the age 5-6 years old through the activity playing of building in the center of beams. Experimental research is used in this quantitative research with the design One Group Pretest-Posttest. The populations of this study are all of the students of Mutiara Insan Kindergarten, Sukoharjo Regency with the sample of 30 students consisting of children at the age of 5-6 years old (grade B kindergarten). The sampling technique used was Purposive sampling. Whereas data collection methods of this study using children visual-spatial intelligence scale which have been tested both the validity and the reliability for about 0,901. The data distribution obtained indicates normal data and homogenous. The statistical analysis method with Paired Sample t-Test technique is the result of pretest and posttest. The result obtained tcalculate = -102,524 with sig = 0.000, so that the average score pretest and posttest of the children visual-spatial abilities at the age of 5-6 years old experience significant improvement after conducted optimization of beam as a media for application the building games in the center of the beam.

Abstract

The child's readiness for entering primary education is characterized by the development of all the potential of the child. One of the potential that needs to be developed early on was the base for the preparation of skills in reading, writing and counting. On the cognitive field is the addition of knowledge into long-term memory therefore age 4-5 years children can get knowledge about simple concepts in everyday life today, as does the math to know the beginning. In Indonesia, learning counting can be taught on children provided in accordance with tahapanya and methods used should be fun, realistic mathematics learning strategies could be options of teachers to introduce children in the learning of mathematics in particular the introduction of the basic concept of the symbol number. This study aims to describe the application of learning strategies in realistic mathematics introduces math beginning in children.This study is a qualitative research approach with the approach of case studies and using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation in and gather data. Technique of data analysis research is Miles: with Huberman& presentation data, reduction of data, summary and verification.The research results showed that introducing math commencement through learning strategies in realistic mathematics done in kindergarten the include Ananda Kudus planning learning strategy, organizing, delivery strategies, and management strategies. Introducing mathematics beginning kindergarten teacher AnandaKudus one of them invites children to play traditional games, traditional games with children indirectly learning about the introduction of the concept. So child-centered learning and the teacher is a facilitator for the children, where the main activities facilitate teacher needed by the child. The main activities will be explained by teachers in the delivery of the material to the next teacher freed children to perform the play. Teachers evaluate the child by means of observation during the activities of the main and petrified children when children have difficulty in completing the game activities.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Personal safety knowledge of landslide disaster is knowledge of personal security against landslide disaster. Children who are not equipped with personal safety knowledge will have anxiety. A medium that can be used to provide personal safety knowledge in early childhood is by play and pictures. This study aims to determine the difference of adobe flash cs5 media application to personal safety knowledge of landslide disaster in Kindergarten of PGRI Tunas Patriot Banjarnegara Regency. This research uses experimental method with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study population is 70 children with 35 children as control group and 35 children as experimental group taken with purposive sampling technique. Moreover, data collection method in this research is test method and documentation method. Hypothesis test results obtained t posttest of control group has no significant difference because the value of 0.340> 0.05, thus personal safety knowledge on landslide disaster before being given the treatment is relatively same. After the treatment in experimental group, there is an increase in personal disaster safety knowledge, as seen from the Sig score. (2 tailed) 0,00 <0,05, therefore in experiment group equal to 137,14 and control group equal to 103,71 with difference of 33,43 and t statistic at posttest equal to -24,185. Based on the description, it can be concluded that adobe flash cs5 media provides enhancement to personal safety knowledge of landslide disaster in children aged 5-6 years. Abstract

KB-TK Talenta Semarang is inclusive schools that has an annual program performing arts and graduatation of group B kindegarten students who receive graduation state. Performing arts is an appreciation activity to develop children’s competence. In inclusive schools, performing arts purpose to stimulate sympathy and tolerance among reguler students and inclusive students. Guidance and direction from the teacher required students to follow the preparation process until the performance. The purpose of this study was to describe performing arts management including planning, organizing, actuating and controlling in early childhood education of KB-TK Talenta Semarang. This research used qualitative approach, and the data collection techniques used the observation methode, documentation and interviews. The subjects of this research were the responsible of activity, the activity coordinator, the responsible of event, the vocal choach, and the dance coach. The data resource obtained were from the subjects, literature review, and document. The data analysis tecniques was done using interactive models by miles and huberman. Based on the results of data analysis, the performing arts management in Inclusive early childhood of KB-TK Talenta Semarang included: Planning began with the determination of theme and the process of cultivation that requires classroom teacher’s room in assisting disability students, during practice, rehearsal and performance. Organizing was a work system that was applied, based on the structure of the committee that was formed. The types of performances offered were vocals, dance and opera. There was a responsible for directing disability students while on stage. Controlling was carried out by the responsible of activity, either through observation or accountability report. The sequence of this process goes flexibly and adjusts the ability of commitee, appearance needs and real conditions in location. Abstract

The speaking ability for early childhood is very important for the provision of adulthood. At this time, children are easier to absorb stimuli received from the surrounding environment, therefore the speaking ability is very appropriate to be stimulated from an early age. One way that can be done to improve children's ability to speak is with new and enjoyable learning methods. Through the Student Team Achievement Division method, it is hoped that it can help children develop their speaking skills. This study aims to determine the differences in the increase in the speaking ability of children aged 3-4 years through the Student Team Achievement Division method at KB (Playgroup) Cempaka Ngadipuro District Dukun Magelang Regency. This research is a quantitative research using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design approach. The population is all students aged 3-4 years in the KB Cempaka Ngadipuro in Dukun District of Magelang Regency. The samples use are children aged 3-4 years in the all KB in Ngadipuro Dukun Magelang Regency as many as 30 children. The sampling technique is a Purposive Sample technique. The data collection technique uses the speaking ability scale of children aged 3-4 years, while the data analysis uses the Paired Sample t-Test and percentage techniques. Based on the results of calculation of hypothesis testing statistics obtain t-test data using the Paired Sample t-Test on the SPSS program obtain the value - t table > t count > t table, namely (-2.045> - 5,942 or 5,942> 2,045), Sig = 0,000 or Sig (2 Tailed) <0.05 so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the speaking ability of children aged 3-4 years in KB Cempaka Ngadipuro District Dukun Magelang Regency after the Student Team Achievement Division method is applied.

Abstract

This research was carried out to respond to the still low ability of children to grow and preserve a regional culture and the value of local wisdom. The purpose of this study was to describe the efforts in Tegal Regency in acculturation of dance culture (endel mask) to foster the values of local wisdom in children and supporting and inhibiting factors in acculturation of dance culture (endel mask) to foster the values of local wisdom in child. This study used a qualitative approach and took place in the Dukuhturi District of Tegal Regency. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were artists, children, the community, leaders of the Dukuhturi District Education and Culture District Office of Education and Culture, and teachers. Data collection techniques used with data triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results of this study are as follows; (1) The efforts made by the artists and the Office of Education and Culture of the Dukuhturi District UPTD in fostering the values of local wisdom in children are by training children in the studio as well as those in schools, holding extracurricular activities in each educational institution. (2) The driving factors for endel mask dance culture in fostering the value of local wisdom are the creativity of the artists, the enthusiasm and desires of the dancers, the routine agenda of the endel mask dance at the Tegal Regency / City Anniversary event, commemorative events, and festival events art. (3) Inhibiting factors are lack of funds, lack of young dancers and performers, lack of explanation during performances, so viewers can only enjoy the show without knowing the history, meaning and values contained in the endel mask dance.

Abstract

Many conflicts that arise in Indonesia such as loss of humanity, love and respect for NKRI, recognition of the culture by other nations, causing division between regions, countries and nations. Therefore, it becomes an important thing to cultivate learning national vision into the nation's next-generation, especially from an early age. Various character values ​​need to be applied to children, especially the character to love culture of the nation and country, which is grown through learning the cultivation of national vision. So, children know the origin of their birth and various cultures of their resident people. This study aims to determine the learning program for the cultivation of national vision in Indonesian children with permanent resident status (PR) at Little Stars Kindergarten, School of Indonesia (Singapore) Ltd. In addition, this study aims to see how the behavior of students after participating in the learning of national vision at Little Stars Kindergarten, School of Indonesia (Singapore) Ltd. The target of this study is Indonesian children with permanent resident (PR) status, aged 4-6 years at Little Stars Kindergarten, School of Indonesia (Singapore) Ltd. This study uses qualitative methods, with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation (triangulation). Permanent Resident is the legal status granted by a country so that it has the same position as a citizen. Almost all students at SIS Little Stars are permanent residents. The results of this study indicated that students with permanent residency (PR) status at Little Stars Kindergarten, Indonesia School (Singapore) Ltd, have diverse national perspectives. The national vision possessed by students includes: knowing the city or country of origin at birth, local languages, special foods, Indonesian national songs, some folk songs, and general knowledge about Indonesian culture. Students still have a national vision for Indonesian, even though they have long-lived and settled in Singapore. This is the output of the learning of national vision conducted by the teacher.

Abstract

Assalamah Pre-school & Kindergarten as one of the early childhood institution seeks to develop an innovative learning model by using interactive learning CD developed by the teachers. The aim of this study was to determine the validity of the media developed by teachers and to know how big the effectiveness of instructional media used in the learning activities. The method used in this research is to use an experimental method that is pretest-posttest control group design to compare the learning achievement of children before and after being treated by using powerpoint-based learning and compared between the experimental group and the control group. The results from this study show that the media are declared valid. It is based on the data obtained from experts validator and material validator. The media used in teaching with religious themes in Assalamah Pre-school & Kindergarten Ungaran are not only valid but also effective in the learning activities, it can be seen from the improvement in learning outcomes for students, especially in kindergarten level B.How to citeHasjiandito, A., Adiarti, W. & Wantoro. Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find out the implementation of biodiversity centre in improving naturalistic intelligence of children in 5-6 years old. The study was conducted in PAUD An Najah, Jatinom Subdistrict, Klaten Regency. The study used 30 children as the samples of the study. The study used one group pretest-posttest design as its experimental design. Data collecting utilized the purposive sampling. The result showed the naturalistic intelligences improvement of children in 5-6 years old. Based on the t value measurement, the study found –ttable > tcount > t table included (2.04 > - 28.25 or 28.25 > 2.04), with sig = 0.000, so Ho was declined and Ha was accepted. It explained that there was significant difference of the naturalistic intelligences of children in 5-6 years old after using biodiversity centre implementation.

Abstract

Assalamah Playgroup-Kindergarten as one of the early childhood institution seeks to develop innovative learning models by using interactive learning cd developed by teachers. It is based on data obtained from experts and materialvalidator. In addition to a valid media used in learning with religious themes on Assalamah Playgroup-Kindergartenin Ungaran also effective in the learning activities, it can be seen from the rise in learning outcomes among students, especially in kindergarten B.
