Abstract

Pemaknaan suatu kota tidak akan pernah lepas dari identitasnya, untuk itu amatlah penting sebagai paradigma kota itu sendiri. Semua kota mempunyai identitas yang berbeda, baik yang positif maupun negatif. Identitas sebuah kota adalah keunikan kondisi dan karakteristik yang membedakannya dengan kota lainnya. Identitas kota adalah sebuah konsep yang kuat terhadap penciptaan citra (image) dalam pikiran seseorang yang sebelumnya tidak pernah dipahami. Oleh karena itu, pemaknaan identitas sebuah kota penting untuk dipahami dengan baik dan benar, agar hal-hal yang mengakibatkan ketidakjelasan orientasi fungsi kehidupan kota dalam memenuhi kebutuhan warga dan penurunan kualitas lingkungan kota tersebut akan dapat diantisipasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh porositas kain tenun terhadap penyerapan zat warna menggunakan metode pengolahan citra digital. Porositas diukur melalui citra hasil pemindaian sampel kain dengan pendekatan thresholding menggunakan perangkat lunak berbasis Java. Metode statistik Kruskal-Wallis digunakan untuk menguji signifikansi perbedaan porositas dan nilai K/S antar jenis anyaman. Hasil menunjukkan korelasi negatif yang signifikan (r = - 0.858) antara porositas dan nilai K/S, dengan kontribusi porositas sebesar 73,65% terhadap variasi penyerapan warna. Jenis anyaman satin menunjukkan performa terbaik dalam penyerapan zat warna, sesuai dengan teori peningkatan kontak antar serat. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan metode kuantitatif dalam evaluasi kualitas kain menggunakan teknologi pengolahan citra.

Abstract

Introduction : Microclimate is one of the environmental sciences related to plants in an area. This science describes the climatic conditions of the environment that have living organisms around it, either close to the surface of the earth or in confined environments such as a room, factory, and greenhouse. Measured the scale of studies of microclimate and environmental-climate vertically ranging from 1 meter to 2 meters. This research study used a field survey method by collecting environmental temperature data and observing tree architecture models growing in the campus area of Universitas Tadulako. The results of the study confirmed the most effective tree architecture models in minimizing the ambient temperature by investigating the aesthetic criteria of tree structures and characteristics in the campus environment of Universitas Tadulako.

Abstract

After the 7.4-magnitude earthquake, tsunami, and liquefaction disaster in September 2018, the Balaroa sub-district of Palu City was severely affected by liquefaction, which covered approximately 50 hectares with a perimeter of about 2.5 kilometres. This area was predominantly residential. Historically, residents of West Gunung Marawola avoided passing through this area when travelling to the Manonda Inpres Market, as the wheels of their carts would often become stuck. Consequently, the site was named Tagari Lonjo (a waterlogged and muddy area). This served as a form of natural mitigation, indicating that the site was unsuitable for habitation. This paper aims to establish a correlation between the initial conditions and the management of potential risks following the disaster. The research employs qualitative methods and utilises the Sendai Framework (as a conceptual foundation) and SWOT analysis (as a strategy formulation tool). The proposed design concept involves planning and utilisation of the former Balaroa liquefaction site, focusing not only on physical and ecological recovery but also on socio-economic revitalisation and strengthening resilience to future disasters. Based on the analysis, the geotechnical conditions of the former liquefaction site in Balaroa Village are recommended to be utilised as Ruang Natebuka Kodara (green open space) within land-use planning, with agrotourism potential that can foster economic self-reliance and help alleviate communal trauma. It is hoped that this paper will contribute particularly to education on mitigation and resilience, supporting regional sustainability through innovative post-disaster recovery strategies.
