Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun kemampuan apresiasi puisi dengan teatrikalisasi pada mahasiswa. Fenomena ini perlu dikaji karena ditemukan ada kendala yang dialami oleh mahasiswa dalam hal pembelajaran apresiasi puisi. Karena itu, perlu dicari solusi yang tepat untuk mengatasi kesulitan mahasiswa dalam mengapresiasi puisi. Alternatif pemecahan yang bisa dilakukan yaitu dengan menggunakan teknik pembelajaran yang menarik. Teknik yang dipilih untuk mengatasi kesulitan mahasiswa dalam mengapresiasi puisi adalah dengan melakukan teatrikalisasi puisi. Untuk menganalisis masalah penelitian, digunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik teaterikalisasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Surabaya. Data yang diambil untuk penelitian ini berdasarkan pada lembar angket, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil triangulasi metode wawancara, angket, dan observasi menunjukkan proses teatrikalisasi puisi dapat membangun kemampuan apresiasi puisi mahasiswa dengan menunjukkan hasil respon mahasiswa yang merasa lebih mudah danlebih tertarik dalam mengapresiasi puisi karena puisi yang ditearikalisasikan menghasilkan kemenarikan sebuah puisi sehingga kondisi mahasiswa lebih terfokus pada puisi yang disajikan. Teatrikalisasi puisi juga menciptakan suatu sistem apresiasi yang lebih kondusif, meningkatkan fokus mahasiswa terpusat pada puisi yang diteatrikalisasikan, meningkatkan penghargaan mahasiswa terhadap puisi yang apresiasi serta membangun kemampuan apresiasi puisi mahasiswa karena puisi yang disajikan dalam teatrikalisasi lebih objektifdan bermakna. Kemampuan apresiasi puisi mahasiswa dapat dibangun menggunakan proses teatrikalisasi puisi karena proses teatrikalisasi pusi dapat mempermudah proses interpretasi puisi, teatrikalisasi puisi menjadikan puisi lebih menarik untuk diapresiasi. Teatrikalisasi puisi juga menciptakan suatu kondisi apresiasi puisi yang lebih kondusif, terfokus pada puisi, penghargaan terhadap puisi meningkat, dan terbangunnya kemampuan apresiasi secara lebih mendalam.

Abstract

The primary goal of this study is to analyze the impact of economic and political power, debt policy, and political influence on tax aggressiveness during times of economic uncertainty. In this study, we choose as examples health and pharmaceutical firms trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between the years 2018 and 2021. To test for the predicted difference between before and after the covid 19 epidemic, researchers utilized multiple regression and other tests (paired sample t-test) in SPSS version 23. This research backs up the notion that fiscal stability and profitability affect tax aggressiveness. There was no difference in the prevalence of tax evasion strategies either before or after the Covid 19 pandemic, and neither debt policies nor political relationships seemed to have any influence on tax aggression. Using research findings to inform decision making or policy implementation may boost a company's future success. In addition to building on earlier replication attempts, this work also puts to the test comparisons made before and during the COVID-19 epidemic, making it a significant piece of research.

Abstract

This research aims to describe social critism of economic problems in the novel Tanah Para Bandit by Tere Liye. This research is based on the novel Tanah Para Bandit by Tere Liye, a story that raises the themes of caurage, friendship, and the spirit of fighting for justice. The novel Tanah Para Bandit by Tere Liye is very interesting to study using the theory of genetic structuralism because the novel contains criticism of social problems. This research method uses the hermeneutic method. The approach used is a descriptive approach. The data source for this research is the novel Tanah Para Bandit by Tere Liye. This research data is in the form of words, phrases or sentences that express aspects of social criticism of economic problems contained in the novel Tanah Para Bandit by Tere Liye. The data collection tecnique used in this research is in two stages, namely observation, and documents. The data analysis tecnique for this research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this research indicate that the social criticism of economic problems in this research incudes; unemployment, poverty, corruption, value of money, profits, stealing, and debt.

Abstract

Literary appreciation learning is an effort to increase competence in the field of literature so that Indonesian Language Education Study Program students have complete provisions as prospective educators to be implemented in school. However, in the process there are learning problems that arise, including low motivation of students in getting to know literary works of poetry and lack of knowledge when students appreciate poetry. For this reason, further research is needed to overcome this problem by learning through the application of the suggestopedia method. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method, with research subjects being students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program. Data collection techniques were carried out using documentation techniques for analyzing poetry tasks, while data analysis techniques were carried out using quantitative descriptive techniques. Based on the research, it is known that the application of the suggestopedia method can increase students' competence in appreciating poetry. This can be proven by the average score obtained during the pre-test which the average is 2.5 (the scoring guideline 1-5), while the results during the post-test or after applying the suggestopedia method in student learning obtained an average score 4.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan ketidakadilan gender pada tokoh utama dalam Novel Ipar adalah Maut  yang terdapat pada novel Ipar adalah Maut karya Eliza Sifaa. Penelitian ini penting dilakukan karena objek penelitian ini menggambarkan kehidupan perempuan, khususnya dalam rumah tangga dan keluarga. Untuk memahami ketidakadilan gender berhubungan dengan kondisi masyarakat saat ini, sangat penting untuk mengkaji isu ketidakadilan gender yang coba diangkat oleh novel Ipar adalah Maut. Teori penelitian ini adalah teori feminisme. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data penelitian ini adalah kata, frasa, dan kalimat pada novel Ipar adalah Maut Karya Eliza Sifaa yang mengandung feminisme dan ketidakadilan gender. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Ipar adalah Maut Karya Eliza Sifaa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dalam novel Ipar adalah Maut, yaitu ketidakadilan yang dialami oleh tokoh utama dalam novel Ipar adalah Maut karya Eliza Sifaa yaitu marginalisasi, subordinasi, stereotip, kekerasan, kekerasan penelitian ini meliputi kekerasan fisik, kekerasan verbal, kekerasan psikologis, dan beban kerja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan representasi feminisme dalam novel Perempuan yang Menunggu di Lorong Menuju Laut karya Dian Purnomo. Penelitian ini penting dilakukan karena novel ini menggambarkan kehidupan perempuan, khususnya perlawanan dan perjuangan mereka untuk mendapatkan hak-haknya dalam masyarakat Sangihe. Untuk memahami penggambaran feminisme dalam konteks kondisi sosial ekonomi kontemporer, penting untuk menganalisis gagasan-gagasan feminisme yang diartikulasikan dalam novel Perempuan yang Menunggu di Lorong Menuju Laut karya Dian Purnomo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metodologi deskriptif. Data penelitian ini berupa kata-kata atau kalimat yang mengandung representasi feminisme. Sumber data utama untuk penelitian ini adalah novel Perempuan yang Menunggu di Lorong Menuju Laut yang ditulis oleh Dian Purnomo. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi, yaitu dengan menganalisis isi novel untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengkategorikan bentuk representasi feminisme. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan tiga bentuk representasi feminisme dalam novel Perempuan yang Menunggu di Lorong Menuju Laut karya Dian Purnomo dapat dirumuskan sebagai berikut: (1) persamaan hak dan kewajiban, berupa perjuangan Shalom dan ibu rumah tangga untuk mendapatkan pengakuan dan kesempatan yang sama dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk pendidikan dan pekerjaan; (2) hubungan kekuasaan yang sama, berupa perjuangan Shalom, Ari Naja, Bu Agatha, dan Opa Mapaele untuk membangun identitas dan otonomi mereka di tengah masyarakat yang patriarkis.; dan (3) ketiadaan diskriminasi terhadap kaum perempuan, berupa keberanian dan pembangkangan Mirah terhadap konvensi masyarakat yang menindas.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationships between environmental performance, financial leverage, as well as institutional ownership and firm value. In this study, firm value is measured with Tobin's Q ratio. The sample used in this study was 20 manufacturing firms listed at the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the observation period between 2016-2019; so, the total observations made were 80. Multiple regression analysis using SPSS application was carried out to scrutinize the data. The results of this study indicate that all independent variables tested, namely environmental performance, financial leverage, and institutional ownership, have positive influences on firm value. These results provide a good signal for the investors to continuously invest in manufacturing firms. In addition, good environmental performance has an impact on firms’ positive image.

Abstract

One form of Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) is the oyster mushroom production business. Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) is rich in protein, minerals and vitamins so it is beneficial for health. This oyster mushroom can be developed into various products. The purpose of this community service is to increase the income of entrepreneurs and traders of oyster mushrooms in Limpok Village, Darussalam District, Aceh Besar. Through this community service, it is hoped that new products will be created with the basic ingredients of oyster mushrooms. The antioxidant content of oyster mushrooms will be tested using the DPPH method. The result of this community service is the latest innovation from oyster mushroom products in the form of face masks.

Abstract

The study examines the effect of board gender diversity and CEO characteristics – CEO age, CEO tenure, and CEO compensation – on earning Management in the banking sector listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2019-2022. The data of 188 bank– years was obtained from banks’ annual reports taken from the IDX and the bank's official website. Data were analysed by using descriptive statistics and panel data regression. The data fit in with the Common Effect Model (CEM). The results show that earnings management in the banking sector is not caused by gender diversity but is affected significantly by CEO age and tenure. The results support the upper echelon theory. The results fill the gap of previous studies, especially in the banking sector, and provide insight into the role of board gender diversity on earning Management in developing countries that can synthesise the outcome to learn from their governance system.
