Abstract

Handwriting is a product of an individual's writing activity. The unique characteristics of handwriting vary from person to person, reflecting their individual traits. However, handwriting is often misused by irresponsible parties. Currently, there is a lack of tools to facilitate the recognition or verification of handwriting. Generally, handwriting recognition can be addressed using Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs). ANNs are artificial representations of the human brain that attempt to simulate the brain's learning processes. In this study, the Perceptron algorithm, a supervised learning method within neural networks, is employed. The research uses 5x5 pixel images of handwriting samples, with the Perceptron algorithm functioning based on the weight values obtained. Testing with the Perceptron algorithm showed that it can recognize three different handwriting samples. The testing concluded at Epoch 3, where the value of Y_in = 39 exceeded the threshold value of 30.

Abstract

Mencapai tujuan organisasi, sumber daya manusia memainkan peran penting, dan manajemen yang tepat dari sumber daya ini sangat penting. Banyak hal yang mempengaruhi kinerja seseorang, salah satunya adalah tempat kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Uyemura Indonesia. Desain penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sampel yang di gunakan sampel jenuh yaitu populasi sama dengan sampel berjumlah 133 orang. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan dengan data kuesioner yang di ambil dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan terdapat pengaruh parsial lingkungan kerja positif signifikan terhadap kinerja, terdapat pengaruh parsial motivasi kerja positif signifikan terhadap kinerja, dan terdapat pengaruh simultan lingkungan kerja dan motivasi kerja positif signifikan terhadap kinerja. Karyawan yang termotivasi akan lebih bersemangat dalam menyelesaikan tugas dan akan selalu berkontribusi pada kesuksesan perusahaan secara menyeluruh. Karyawan yang memiliki motivasi tinggi akan memberikan kontribusi penting terhadap peningkatan kinerja karyawan di lingkungan kerja dan berperan penting dalam peningkatan kinerja perusahaan.

Abstract

Biodegradable foam made from natural starch offers a sustainable alternative to Styrofoam, which is lightweight, low-cost, but challenging to degrade and harmful to the environment. The purpose of this study is to utilize cassava peel waste, which contains starch, as a raw material for producing biodegradable foam using a biocatalyst method approach, thereby reducing the presence of cyanide acid in cassava peel waste. Aside from that, Carboxy Methyl Cellulose (CMC) is used as a filler to strengthen the structure of biodegradable foam with mass variations of 4, 6, and 8 g. The characteristic cassava peel flour results showed that the biocatalyst method, achieved through fermentation, can reduce cyanide acid levels in cassava peel flour. Then, a biodegradable foam with the best characteristics was produced by adding 6 g of CMC, resulting in a thickness of 1.9 mm, a water absorption capacity of 17.45%, a tensile strength of 3.13 MPa, and a biodegradation level of 100%. The resulting biodegradable material exhibits a tensile strength that exceeds that of Styrofoam and can disintegrate completely in the soil.

Abstract

This Integrated Community Service Program aims to provide assistance for Condro Utomo library to improve literacy in the community of Madyocondro Village, Secang District, Magelang Regency. Methods are applied in this activity with training and mentoring. The result of this devotional activity is information technology system of library management, arrangement of library materials, bulletins and mading produced by teenagers. This library mentoring activity provides a strong foundation for library management to improve the quality of service to the community, improve literacy and improve the quality of human resources.
