Abstract

Laston adalah salah satu jenis bahan yang digunakan  pada lapisan permukaan perkerasan aspal , yang merupakan campuran antara agregat bergradasi menerus dan aspal sebagai bahan pengikat. Laston menggunakan agregat kasar berupa agregat pecah, dimana berdasarkan bentuknya dapat dikelompokkan atas : bentuk bulat, kubus, lonjong, pipih dan tak beraturan. Bentuk agregat lonjong kurang baik jika dipergunakan berlebihan karena mudah pecah. Oleh karena itu, ASTM D-4791-95 membatasi indeks  lonjong (elongated index) dalam campuran Laston maksimum sebesar 10% terhadap agregat kasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi agregat lonjong pada agregat kasar terhadap karakteristik campuran Laston. Benda uji dirancang berdasarkan kadar aspal optimum dengan kadar agregat lonjong divariasikan dalam agregat kasar. Selanjutnya dilaksanakan perhitungan kepadatan, VIM, VMA dan VFB serta dilakukan pengujian karakteristik campuran dengan test Marshall untuk mendapatkan nilai stabilitas dan flow. Selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi, korelasi dan varian. Berdasarkan analisis regresi dan korelasi, penambahan kadar agregat lonjong sangat kuat mempengaruhi nilai karakteristik campuran Laston (stabilitas, MQ, VMA, VIM dan VFB) dan pengaruh yang kuat terhadap nilai flow. Berdasarkan analisis varian, nilai Fhitung untuk masing-masing karakteristik campuran Laston lebih besar dari Ftabel dengan tingkat kesalahan (α)  5%. Ini membuktikan dengan adanya perubahan perlakuan yaitu dengan memvariasikan kadar agregat lonjong membuat adanya perbedaan nilai karakteristik campuran Laston. Penambahan kadar agregat lonjong membuat nilai stabilitas, MQ, VMA, VIM menurun dan meningkatkan nilai flow serta VFB. Untuk variasi agregat lonjong 0% sampai dengan 10%, nilai karakteristik campuran Laston masih memenuhi persyaratan yang ditentukan DPU (1983), tetapi untuk variasi agregat lonjong 15% dan 20% menghasilkan nilai karakteristik Laston yang tidak memenuhi syarat yang ditentukan DPU (1983).   Kata kunci :  Laston, agregat lonjong, indeks lonjong (elongated index)

Abstract

Agregat bekas merupakan limbah padat yang dihasilkan dari suatu aktivitas pembongkaran, pengadaan konstruksi, ataupun dari reruntuhan bangunan yang disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor. Bongkaran konstruksi bangunan seperti tembok batako, limbahnya dapat dipertimbangkan untuk dipergunakan sebagai pengganti agregat dalam campuran beton aspal. Indonesia memiliki deposit aspal alam terbesar di dunia yang tersimpan di Pulau Buton dengan jumlah lebih dari 677.000.000 ton (Balitbang Kementrian PU, 2010) tetapi kurang dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Sebagai penerapan KEPMEN No. 35/PRT/M/2006, maka dalam campuran aspal di Indonesia dikembangkan teknologi penggunaan asbuton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa karakteristik campuran AC-BC dengan menggunakan asbuton BGA 15/25 dengan persentase 3% terhadap jumlah total campuran, agregat kasar berupa agregat alam sedangkan agregat halus dan filler menggunakan limbah pecahan batako. Pada kadar Aspal Optimum sebesar 7,4% diperoleh karakteristik campuran AC ? BC : Stabilitas Marshall 1450 kg, Flow 4,95 mm, Marshall Quotient (MQ) 285 kg/mm, VIM Marshall 5 %, VIM PRD 3,4 %, VMA 16 %, VFB 68 %. Secara umum nilai karakteristik memenuhi persyaratan spesifikasi kecuali nilai MQ. Penggunaan Asbuton mengurangi jumlah agregat halus dan filler dalam campuran, karena dalam Asbuton terdapat kandungan bitumen dan mineral. Penggunaan agregat bekas dari pecahan batako sebagai pengganti agregat halus dan filler mengakibatkan penggunaan kadar aspal yang tinggi.Kata kunci: Limbah Batako, Asbuton, AC ? BC

Abstract

Budget limitations are a problem in road handling programming. The purpose of this study is to determine the hierarchical arrangement and quantitative measurements of each sub-criteria so that a mathematical formula is formed to develop a priority scale for handling district roads with the study location in Klungkung Regency. The decision making method used is Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The hierarchical arrangement of the research results consisting of Level-1 is the objective, namely determining the priority scale for handling district roads in Klungkung Regency. Level-2 is a criterion, and Level-3 is a sub-criteria that affects the criteria. The criteria used are i). Network system (A) with sub-criteria for road conditions (A1), pavement width (A2) and disaster-prone areas (A3), ii). Land Use System (B) with sub-criteria for access to government offices (B1), to areas of tourist attraction (B2), to strategic transportation areas (B3), and to areas of holy places and cultural heritage (B4), iii). Movement System Criteria (C) with sub-criteria LHR (C1), and iv). Institutional System Criteria (D) with subcriteria included in the proposal in the Musrenbang (D1), according to the direction of RENSTRA (D2), and equal distribution of road stability (D3). The weights of each sub-criteria A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, B3, B4, C1, D1, D2, and D3 are 15.23%, 7.80%, 5.80%, 3.25%, respectively. 9.50%, 8.10%, 3.24%, 19.9%, 6.32%, 7.63%, and 13.24%. The mathematical formula based on the weight of the quantitative measurements, namely Y = 15.23A1 + 7.80A2 + 5.80A3 + 3.25B1 + 9.50B2 + 8.10B3 + 3,24B4 + 19.9C1 + 6,32D1 + 7,63D2 + 13 , 24D3. Obtained a priority scale arrangement of road handling, namely 62 very high priority scale roads, 58 high priority scale roads, 60 medium priority scale roads, 59 low priority scale roads, and 60 very low priority scale roads.

Abstract

Damage type that common happens to Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course (AC-WC) is the crack due to fatigue. This research objective is to analyze the performance of the stiffness, fatigue, static creep and dynamic creep of the AC-WC hot asphalt mix to optimum asphalt content. The research was conducted at Road Laboratory of the Civil Engineering Department, Udayana University. The mixture was produced in hotmix and tested with Marshall procedure. The method used in testing stiffness, fatigue and creep testing refers to the British Standard. The equipment that is used is the Dynapave UTM 30. Based on the research it was found out that the optimum asphalt content (OAC) of AC-WC mix was 6.05%. The ITSM value at temperature of 10oC, 20oC, 30oC were 6175 MPa, 4356 MPa, 3790 MPa, respectively. The fatigue performance on dynamic loading at pressure of 300 kPa failed at 37,401 times of load repetition, at pressure of 500 kPa failed at 15,513 times of load repetition, at pressure of 700 kPa failed at 3,866 times of load repetition. The static creep performance was 20.84 MPa. The stiffness of creep dynamic was 13.69 MPa. In general comparison, between the test result of the static creep and dynamic creep shows that with dynamic load the sample gave bigger strain so its stiffness becomes smaller, compared to the static load. In other words, the dynamic load causes bigger deformation.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Terminal Mengwi merupakan Terminal Tipe A di Provinsi Bali, namun kenyataannya sejak awal dioperasikanya terminal tidak berfungsi secara efektif karena rendahnya aktivitas yang ada pada Terminal Mengwi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melakukan kajian terhadap pemanfaatan Terminal Mengwi terkait kebijakan pengembangan wilayah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penyebab kurang maksimalnya pemanfaatan Terminal Mengwi dan untuk mengetahui rekomendasi arahan pemanfaatan terminal terkait dengan kebijakan pengembangan wilayah di Provinsi Bali. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis gabungan antara analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif, serta menggunakan analisis SWOT untuk mendapatkan rekomendasi arahan pemanfaatan terminal. Dari hasil analisis penyebab kurang maksimalnya pemanfaatan Terminal Mengwi yaitu asal tujuan penumpang yang melalui Terminal Mengwi yang terjadi cenderung berasal dan menuju ke daerah terbangun yang tersebar di pusat kota/kegiatan yakni Kota Denpasar. Tingkat aksesibilitas terminal yang buruk seperti tidak adanya trayek antar kota dalam provinsi (AKDP), angkutan kota (ANGKOT) maupun angkutan perdesaan (ANGDES) yang beroperasi di Terminal Mengwi, serta mahalnya biaya angkutan sewa yang tersedia di Terminal Mengwi. Adapun rekomendasi arahan pemanfaatan Terminal Mengwi terkait dengan kebijakan pengembangan wilayah di Provinsi Bali adalah Memanfaatkan fungsi Terminal Mengwi sebagai sebuah prasarana yang dapat mempercepat pengembangan pusat pertumbuhan baru, mempercepat pembangunan sarana dan prasarana berbasis pelayanan kepada masyarakat di sekitar kawasan terminal, mengoptimalkan fungsi dan peran Terminal Mengwi sebagai Terminal Tipe A yang akan dijadikan terminal Sentral di Provinsi Bali, mengatur agar tarif angkutan sewa menjadi lebih murah, melakukan perbaikan terhadap aksesibilitas terminal, peningkatan pengawasan dan penertiban bagi bagi para operator angkutan umum

Abstract

I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport has high numbers of car parking users, however land availaibility is limited to accomodate entire vehicle. This research was conducted to study about the characteristic of parking and future parking needs. The aim of this study was to analyze the characteristics of parking on weekdays, weekends, and public holiday at Ngurah Rai Internasional Airport, also future parking needs. The method used to obtain data throught direct survey and recording primary data from PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero). The analysis was performed by comparing characteristics on weekdays, weekends and holiday on motorcycle (2 wheelers), car (4 wheelers), and bus (6 wheelers). The highest parking indexs of motorcycles in on working days is 4.75. The highest parking indexs of car is on the weekend day is equal to 1.84. The highest perking indeks of bus is on the public holiday is equal to 7.54. I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport still requires parking lots to meet parking needs. Based on characteristics parking, for motorcycle there was deficiency of 3.092 SRP, total parking lots requirement for car is 1.897 SRP and for bus is 42 SRP. Abstract

Projects carried out by PT. Tunas Jaya Sanur during 2017 is quite diverse, so there is often a variety of potentials related to work safety and has an impact on the surrounding environment. Therefore, PT. Tunas Jaya Sanur implements the Safety, Occupational and Environmental Health Management System. In addition, the director of the company PT. Tunas Jaya also measures the achievement of Management of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (SMK3L) by using a Key Performance Indicator (KPI). The purpose of this study is to find out work safety and environmental problems (K3L) and to determine the level of success that has been obtained by PT. Tunas Jaya Sanur during 2017 in terms of occupational and environmental safety risks (K3L) based on the main performance indicators (KPI) set by the company. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire involving 88 respondents who were directly involved in the PT. Tunas Jaya Sanur during 2017. The method of analysis in this study is a quantitative analysis method carried out based on Australian / New Zealand (AS / NZS) standards 4360: 2004, then to measure KPI (Key Performance Indicators) on procedures for calculating KPIs main). The results of the analysis of risks issued by PT. Tunas Jaya is a medium risk (medium risk) of 30 risks, a large risk (high risk) of 14 risk-related risks (very high risk) are 2 risks. The level of success in controlling and controlling that has been done by PT. Tunas Jaya Sanur during 2017 showed that the work safety and environmental management (K3L) of PT. Tunas Jaya Sanur Bali in 2017 is classified as "Very Healthy", with the AA category with a performance score of 94.58%.

Abstract

Private vehicle ownership does not pay attention to the capacity of the road that will cause congestion of the road network in urban areas. Setting The Tohpati Junction with Traffic Signaling Tool is not able to cope, the solution to this condition is to build an underpass. The purpose of the study is to analyze the performance of existing intersections and underpasses in 2025, analyze the amount of costs required for the underpass, analyze the direct benefits of underpass construction, and can be known whether the project is feasible or not with an economic feasibility analysis of the underpass investment built. In addition to using primary data and secondary data in calculations, the method of economic feasibility analysis as a comparison of costs and benefits with indicators Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The results showed the performance of existing intersections obtained a delay of 373 seconds /smp morning peak hours, for the peak hour of noon 364 seconds / smp, and the peak afternoon 364 seconds / smp, including the level of service F. Simpang assumption underpass built the value of delay peak hours morning 19.02 seconds / smp, for the peak hours of noon 19.33 seconds / smp, and the peak afternoon 18.32seconds / smp, including the level of service A. In realizing the construction of the underpass, it is necessary to pay Rp. 224,964,665,195.28 and direct benefit from the construction of the underpass at Simpang Tohpati in Denpasar City for the cost savings of road users.amounting to Rp.10.407.740.934,00. In general, the underpass construction project at Simpang Tohpati in Denpasar city is economically viable and the terms of the three bank interest rates of 12%,15% and 18% in one year result in a non-negative NPV value, BCR is not less than one and the IRR is not below the bank's interest rate, hence the analysis related to the sensitivity of the bank to the condition of I, II and III.

Abstract

Assessment of road conditions using the SDI method and inventoried in the GIS in Klungkung Regency is carried out on the Jl. Gn Agung, Jl. Gn Rinjani, Jl. Gn Batukaru, Jl. Gn Semeru, and Jl. Gn Batur. Selection of district roads used by roads in the city of Semarapura which is the center of travel in Klungkung district should get more attention through road handling. In addition, the sections used are roads that visually have road damage. This research was conducted because there are still damaged roads that must be treated quickly. This study aims to analyze road conditions, analyze road handling types and inventory road conditions in a GIS map. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through a survey of road conditions by measuring road damage, while secondary data was obtained from the Bina Marga section of the PUPRPKP Office of Klungkung Regency, namely, SK Klungkung regency roads, Klungkung regency road maps and Klungkung district road baseline data. The stages of research analysis were identification of road damage by measuring, data recapitulation by processing survey results, data analysis using the SDI method and inventorying in a GIS map. The results of the assessment for the Jl. Gn Agung is in moderate condition 0.416 km and slightly damaged condition is 0.300 km. Jl. Gn Rinjani, 0.277 km is slightly damaged. Jl. Gn Batukaru is slightly damaged by 0.119 km. Jl. Gn Semeru is slightly damaged by 0.288 km. Jl. Gn Batur condition is slightly damaged 0.546 km. For the type of handling carried out Jl. Gn Agung periodic maintenance and routine maintenance, Jl. Gn Rinjani, Jl. Gn Batukaru, Jl. Gn Semeru and Jl. Gn Batur is regular maintenance. Inventory of road condition data and basic road data of Klungkung district using GIS provides an overview of road conditions in the form of a road network map so as to provide convenience in monitoring road conditions and determining the type of handling. This research can be used as a reference in determining the type of handling of district roads in Klungkung district.

Abstract

ABSTRACTOne problem of the environment is the increasing amount of plastic waste especially thin plastic bag and other thin plastic packaging, therefore effort is needed to utilize those plastic waste. Within this experiment thin plastic waste was use on the production of road asphalt mixture. The aim of this experiment was: to know the effectivity of the plastic coating onto the aggregate; the properties of the aggregate coated with thin waste plastic; and the Marshall characteristic of HRS-WC. Waste thin plastic waste was manually cut with size: <10mm and 10-20mm. The aggregate was heated, then plastic waste was spreaded, mixed, added with optimum asphalt content (OAC), evenly mixed and compacted 2x75 Marshall blow. Plastic coating was found only effective (observed visually) on the coarse aggregate using wider plastic size 10-20mm. Samples of HRS-WC were made with aggregate coated with plastic at OAC; OAC-0.5%; and OAC-1%. It was obtained that: the OAC was 7.55%. For 100% coating the coarse aggregate the amount of plastic needed was 30gram (8.6% by weight of total aggregate), and 15gram to coat 50%. The difference on Marshall Characteristic without and with added plastic was not significant and difficulties was experienced to meet volumetric properties, nontheles there was increase in Marshall stability. It was found that, the Marshall stability, flow, Marshall Quotient, VIM, VMA, and VFB on OAC with 50% plastic coating on the coarse aggregate, were consecutively: 1017.35 kg; 3.05mm; 333.69 kg/mm; 298.94 kg/mm; 4.288%; and 18.055%. Meanwhile on 100% coating, consecutively: 1075.07 kg; 3.59mm; 298.94 kg/mm; 4.037%; 17.462%; dan 76.90%.
