Abstract

This study aims to improve the mathematical problem-solving ability of third-grade elementary school students through the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach. This research was conducted as Classroom Action Research (CAR) over two cycles during the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The study was carried out collaboratively between a classroom teacher and university supervisor to design, implement, and evaluate the learning process. The subjects were third-grade elementary students with varying levels of understanding in basic mathematical concepts, particularly in arithmetic and simple problem solving. Instruments used in the study included teacher and student observation sheets, student worksheets (LKPD), lesson plans (RPP), and pre- and post-tests to measure student abilities. The TaRL approach was implemented by grouping students according to their level of understanding and providing appropriate materials and activities for each level. This strategy ensured that students were not forced to follow lessons that were too difficult or too easy for them. Data analysis was conducted using narrative description for qualitative data and descriptive statistics for quantitative data. The results showed a significant increase in students' ability to solve mathematical problems. The average score in the pre-test was 28.56, which increased to 81.80 by the end of cycle II. This indicates that the TaRL approach is highly effective in helping third-grade students better understand and confidently engage with mathematical material. It can be concluded that the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach is a suitable solution for addressing learning gaps in lower grades and can create a more enjoyable and ability-appropriate learning environment for each child.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of sustainable agricultural practices on ecosystem balance and land productivity in Indonesia through a mixed-methods approach. A sample of 500 farmers across diverse regions participated in surveys and field measurements, contributing to a comprehensive analysis. The study reveals varying adoption rates of sustainable practices, with organic farming and agroforestry emerging as prominent choices. Statistical analysis using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) demonstrates significant positive relationships between sustainable practices and ecosystem indicators, including biodiversity, soil health, and crop yields. Regional variations highlight the context-specific nature of these practices. The findings carry implications for policy formulation, extension services, and the promotion of sustainable agriculture in Indonesia.

Abstract

Education can be prepared carefully because it is a symbol of success in life. In fact, education requires interesting implementation and learning. Teachers are one of the implementers of teaching in schools, as a benchmark for success. With competent teachers and long experience in learning at school, the school will progress. This type of research uses descriptive analytics where researchers not only explain certain phenomena, but researchers participate in analyzing phenomena that occur in accordance with what occurs in the field. Learning resources are not only from textbooks, but can be obtained from books in the library. The use of library books can increase student motivation and improve writing by looking at the results of the sentence descriptions they write on student worksheets. In addition, students will be more active and enthusiastic in participating in learning as well as being able to creatively arrange words to fill in student worksheets.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of transformational leadership and organizational culture as key determinants of sustainable performance within organizations from a strategic management perspective. By integrating transformational leadership practices such as inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration with strong organizational culture, organizations can enhance operational efficiency, innovation, and long-term performance outcomes. The study highlights how the alignment of leadership style and cultural values fosters employee engagement, adaptive decision-making, and the effective implementation of strategic objectives. While these factors can drive sustainable performance, challenges may arise, including cultural resistance, misalignment between leadership and organizational values, and insufficient mechanisms to measure long-term outcomes. A strategic, phased approach emphasizing the development of leadership competencies, reinforcement of supportive cultural practices, and the use of integrated performance metrics can overcome these barriers and promote continuous improvement. Ultimately, transformational leadership combined with a robust organizational culture contributes not only to enhanced efficiency and performance but also to sustainable growth, competitive advantage, and a culture of excellence.

Abstract

This study explores how financial literacy and financial inclusion influence economic decision-making in the digital era. By examining the integration of digital financial tools, online banking services, and mobile financial applications, individuals can make more informed, efficient, and strategic economic choices. Financial literacy equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to understand, evaluate, and manage financial products. In contrast, financial inclusion ensures equitable access to formal financial services, reducing vulnerability to economic risks. The study also highlights how digital platforms amplify both opportunities and challenges, including information overload, digital inequality, and cybersecurity risks. Implementing strategies to improve financial literacy and expand financial inclusion through education, policy support, and user-friendly digital solutions can foster responsible financial behavior, promote sustainable economic participation, and enhance personal and societal financial well-being. Ultimately, aligning financial knowledge, inclusive access, and digital capabilities transforms economic behavior, enabling individuals to make data-driven decisions that support long-term financial stability and growth.

Abstract

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (SMEs) play a crucial role in strengthening regional economic resilience, particularly in semi-urban areas where formal employment opportunities and industrial growth remain relatively limited. Despite their strategic contribution, many SMEs continue to face performance constraints due to limited financial capacity, limited access to external financing, and slow adoption of digital technologies. This study aims to examine the influence of financial literacy, access to capital, and digital transformation on SMEs performance. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed, collecting primary data through structured questionnaires distributed to 80 MSME owners in Majenang District. The research utilized Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to analyze both measurement and structural relationships among variables. The findings reveal that financial literacy significantly improves SMEs performance by enhancing financial planning, budgeting, and decision-making abilities. Access to capital also shows a positive effect, indicating that adequate funding enables business expansion and operational stability. Furthermore, digital transformation demonstrates the strongest influence on performance, suggesting that technology adoption enhances efficiency, innovation, and market reach. The structural model explains 57% of the variance in SMEs performance, reflecting moderate predictive accuracy. These findings highlight the importance of integrated policy interventions focusing on financial education, inclusive financing, and digital capacity development to ensure sustainable MSME growth in semi-urban economies. This study contributes by providing empirical evidence on the integrated role of financial literacy, access to capital, and digital transformation in improving SME performance in semi-urban areas. The findings also highlight the need for integrated strategies in financial education, inclusive financing, and digital capacity development to support sustainable SME growth and competitiveness.

Abstract

This study examines the role of the school principal as a manager in developing teacher professionalism and improving the quality of graduates at State Elementary School 2 Purwokerto Wetan. The research addresses the growing need for effective educational leadership in responding to the increasing demands of teacher competence and institutional quality. A qualitative case study approach was employed to explore leadership practices in a real educational setting. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory field findings, and document analysis, and were analyzed using an interactive model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the principal implements an integrated leadership strategy through training programs, learning supervision, specialized training, role modeling, and continuous professional development. These strategies contribute to improving teachers’ pedagogical competence, discipline, and professional commitment. The study also identifies several challenges, including limited resources, policy constraints, and varying levels of teacher motivation, which influence the effectiveness of professional development efforts. The findings highlight that teacher professionalism is most effectively developed through a continuous and systemic approach rather than isolated interventions. This study contributes to educational management by proposing an integrated model of principal leadership that emphasizes the combination of managerial practices and value internalization in fostering sustainable teacher professionalism and improving educational quality.
