Abstract

Love to God and religion, in one side, has succeed to produce happiness and internal calmness on mankind. Nevertheless, in other side, the love that has been mobilized consciously or not has become the source of an amount of crime, poverty and backwardness of mankind. As the consequence, credibility of religion and faith to God begins to be questioned. Among the religion critics, secularization are included as the most hated by the religionists. The purpose of secularization that want to place God proportionally in human life and make human as God’s co-Creator or “friend” to create their world has been interpreted differently. Secularization is regarded has been trying to withdraw part of God’s power in human life.

Abstract

Dalam banyak hal, perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi telah meningkatkan kemampuan manusia untuk menentukan masa depannya. Ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi telah menyebabkan perubahan drastis dalam kehidupannya. Akan tetapi, dalam kenyataannya perubahan-perubahan tersebut telah menimbulkan kepahitan, keterasingan, dan bahkan kehancuran terhadap kehidupan manusia. Perubahan yang terjadi begitu cepat tidak hanya menimbulkan banyak manfaat tapi juga ancaman luar biasa terhadap kelangsungan hidup manusia. Tampaknya umat manusia belum siap untuk menghadapi perubahan-perubahan besar dari apa yang mereka ciptakan. Tulisan ini akan menguraikan tentang bagaimana persoalan perkembangan ilmu pengetahun dan teknologi telah menimbulkan berbagai pengaruh yang besar bagi peradaban dan kehidupan umat manusia, baik yang positif maupun yang negatif.   Keywords: Minority, Majority, Society, Political, Civilization

Abstract

This study aims to describe religious fundamentalism problems. Radicalism movement is caused by textual religious understanding and social as well political condition that are not conducive to the religious fundamentalism group. The finding of this research indicated that religious fundamentalism has transformed into radical and terrorism movement. The transformation of religious understanding from fundamentalism, radicalism, to terrorism is triggered by the dissatisfaction of radical group on the government, in terms of economic and political condition as well law enforcement activities. This research also indicated that religious radicalism group spreads the ideology by using mosque as the basis of their movement as well as educational institution. Mosque is also considered as power relation by religious radicalism group. This research was conducted through interviews and Focus Group Discussions with organizations and religious leaders categorized as Religious Fundamentalism

Abstract

This research aimed at discovering the root of the problem of the relation between science and religion, identifying how conflict and collaboration between science and religion answer the challenges that human life pose and describing how religion in the future synergize with the advancement of science. This research emphasizes on the need to delve on the issues related to science and religion since the advancement of science often contradicts with some aspect of the Holy Book as well as the assumption that science rattles someone’s faith. Religion is also often regarded as something that hinders the development of science and people who participate in science development are often considered an infidel. There is a skeptical nuance that arose regarding the relationship between science and religion. Thus, it is of utmost importance to investigate on the ebb and flow of science and religion relation in affecting human life. This research employed methodology of philosophy, especially science philosophy in the form of justification and history of science. This research indicated that science and religion are both collaborating and confronting. Religion is used to make meaning of life and science is used to make life easier. Abstract

Dalam era pendidikan yang terus berkembang, pendekatan inovatif seperti Teaching Factory (TEFA) menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di pendidikan vokasi, terutama dalam mempersiapkan lulusan yang kompeten dan siap menghadapi dunia kerja. Model ini mengintegrasikan praktik industri nyata ke dalam proses pembelajaran, memungkinkan siswa untuk memperoleh pengalaman kerja yang relevan. Tujuan utama TEFA adalah menjembatani kesenjangan antara teori yang diajarkan di kelas dengan keterampilan praktis yang dibutuhkan di dunia industri. Melalui pengajaran berbasis produksi, siswa tidak hanya mempelajari teori, tetapi juga terlibat dalam kegiatan produksi yang menghasilkan barang atau jasa yang memiliki nilai ekonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kepustakaan untuk mengembangkan konsep TEFA dan prosedur implementasinya di sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan TEFA mampu meningkatkan keterampilan teknis, manajerial, dan interpersonal siswa, serta memperkuat kemitraan antara sekolah dan dunia kerja. Dengan penerapan TEFA, lulusan diharapkan tidak hanya menguasai aspek kognitif, tetapi juga memiliki sikap profesional dan keterampilan yang relevan untuk bersaing di pasar global, terutama di tengah tantangan revolusi industri 4.0. Model pembelajaran ini menawarkan harapan baru dalam menciptakan generasi tenaga kerja yang siap dan kompeten sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri.

Abstract

The decline in religious values and morals among students in Tanah Datar Regency indicates a significant moral crisis. Morals are an important foundation for obtaining blessed knowledge. The school and community need Immediate and strategic action to overcome this problem and create a generation that is not only academically intelligent but also noble and religiously observant. This research employed development research (Research and Development). The data source of this research was PAI (Islamic Religious Education) teachers at four MAN (Islamic Senior High Schools) in Tanah Datar Regency. The data collection techniques were observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive, qualitative, and quantitative. The results showed that the validity of the model of extracurricular activities based on religious strengthening in the character building of students obtained an average of 100% with a highly valid category. The results of the practicality test obtained an average of 91.7% in the very practical category. Thus, the model of extracurricular activities based on religious strengthening in character building is declared very effective

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the construction of knowledge in Islamic education with a focus on four philosophical schools of thought, namely empiricism, rationalism, positivism, and idealism. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach with a literature review method, using scientific sources from indexed international journals and academic literature related to the integration of Islamic education. The results of the study show that each epistemological school of thought has a unique contribution that complements each other in the development of the Islamic education system. Empiricism emphasises the importance of learning based on real experiences, rationalism reinforces the tradition of critical and logical thinking, positivism provides a research methodology framework based on evidence, while idealism directs education towards the achievement of transcendental goals in the form of developing knowledgeable and moral individuals. The integration of these four perspectives places revelation as the normative foundation that guides reason, experience, and scientific approaches in the educational process. Through this integrative framework, Islamic education is expected to produce students with not only high intellectual abilities, but also balanced moral, spiritual, and social qualities. The practical implications of this research emphasise the need for a curriculum design oriented towards “ilm al-nāfi”, the enhancement of multidisciplinary professionalism among educators, and the strengthening of epistemic digital literacy so that students are able to respond to global challenges and the rapid flow of information in the modern era. Thus, it is believed that Islamic education can become more adaptive, critical, and relevant in building a fair and characterful contemporary civilisation. Abstrak Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konstruksi ilmu pengetahuan dalam pendidikan Islam dengan fokus pada empat aliran filsafat yaitu empirisme, rasionalisme, positivisme, dan idealisme. Penelitian dilakukan melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka, menggunakan sumber-sumber ilmiah dari jurnal internasional ter indeks serta literatur akademik terkait integrasi pendidikan Islam. Hasil kajian memperlihatkan bahwa masing-masing aliran epistemologi memiliki kontribusi khas yang saling melengkapi dalam pengembangan sistem pendidikan Islam. Empirisme menekankan pentingnya pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman nyata, rasionalisme menguatkan tradisi berpikir kritis dan logis, positivisme menghadirkan kerangka metodologi penelitian yang berbasis bukti, sementara idealisme mengarahkan pendidikan pada pencapaian tujuan transendental berupa pembentukan insan kamil yang berilmu dan berakhlak. Integrasi keempat perspektif tersebut menempatkan wahyu sebagai landasan normatif yang mengarahkan akal, pengalaman, dan pendekatan ilmiah dalam proses pendidikan. Melalui kerangka integratif ini, pendidikan Islam diharapkan tidak hanya melahirkan peserta didik dengan kemampuan intelektual tinggi, tetapi juga dengan kualitas moral, spiritual, dan sosial yang seimbang. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya desain kurikulum yang berorientasi pada ‘ilm al-nāfi’, peningkatan profesionalisme pendidik yang multidisipliner, serta penguatan literasi digital epistemik agar peserta didik mampu merespons tantangan global dan derasnya informasi di era modern. Dengan demikian, diyakini mampu menjadikan pendidikan Islam lebih adaptif, kritis, dan relevan dalam membangun peradaban kontemporer yang adil dan berkarakter.

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis konsep sumber pengetahuan dalam konteks Filsafat Ilmu melalui pendekatan studi kepustakaan. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan kajian mendalam terhadap karya-karya klasik dan kontemporer dalam bidang filsafat ilmu, serta menelusuri pemikiran para filosof dan pemikir ilmiah. Pendekatan studi kepustakaan ini memungkinkan peneliti untuk mengeksplorasi beragam perspektif tentang sumber-sumber pengetahuan yang mendasari ilmu pengetahuan. Dalam analisisnya, artikel ini mempertimbangkan peran pengalaman empiris, rasionalitas, deduksi, induksi, serta paradigma ilmiah dalam membentuk sumber-sumber pengetahuan. Dengan memeriksa perdebatan historis dan kontemporer seputar sumber pengetahuan, artikel ini menyoroti kompleksitas konsep sumber-sumber pengetahuan serta dinamika hubungannya dengan evolusi ilmu pengetahuan. Melalui pendekatan studi kepustakaan yang cermat, artikel ini berupaya untuk memberikan gambaran komprehensif tentang bagaimana sumber-sumber pengetahuan telah dipahami, diperdebatkan, dan berkembang dalam kerangka Filsafat Ilmu. Implikasi teoritis dari berbagai perspektif tentang sumber-sumber pengetahuan juga disoroti, memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman mendalam tentang asal-usul, validitas, dan batasan pengetahuan ilmiah.
