Abstract

The research was due to Indonesian students’ literacy in mathematics was unsatisfying according to Programme for International Student Assessment. The aim of this research was to gain needs and context analysis, and literature review which based on the prominence to develop a learning model. This research belonged to descriptive study. Based on data analyzed, the findings revealed that 1.The average value of students' mathematical literacy was 31.87 be classified into low category; 2.The assessment instruments was far from the mathematical literacy; 3.The realistic mathematics education approach ever developed by the researcher in learning mathematics had not been combined with the concept of literacy; 4.The teachers needed the learning models that could improve students' mathematical literacy; 5.The students wanted contextual learning, 6) most students liked reading with audio learning styles; 7.The curriculum content which had to appropriate with the development of this model was the Linear Equation System of Two Variable; 8.The main concept was the general form of Linear Equation System of Two Variables, solution with graph, substitution and elimination. Based on these findings, the researcher needed to develop mathematics learning model based on realistic mathematical education and literacy in junior high school.

Abstract

Classroom Action Research through the NHT-aided model of Quipper School media aims to enhance learning activities and critical thinking skills of learners. The subjects of this study are students often grade student. This study was conducted in 2 cycles. there is an increase in student activity during the learning process that is 38% I cycle, and on the II cycle 71%. Based on the cycles test carried out the critical thinking ability of learners also increased from 40% in the first cycle to 80% in cycle II. The result of the research shows the increase of learning activity and critical thinking ability of the students from cycle I to cycle II. From the research result, it can be concluded that the cooperative model of Numbered Heads Together type media quipper school is effective in increasing the activity and critical thinking ability of the students of ten grade student Lesson Year 2016/2017.

Abstract

Based on data analyzed, the findings reveal that 1) the teachers’ knowledge about mathematical literacy was low, 2) the learning approach still did not related to the material with the context of students’ daily lives, 3) the average value of students' mathematical literacy was 31.87 be classified into low category, and 4) the assessment instruments was far from the mathematical literacy, 5) realistic mathematics education approach ever developed by researchers in learning mathematics has not been combined with the concept of literacy. Based on these findings, the researcher needs to develop mathematics learning model based on realistic mathematical education and literacy in junior high school.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya pengabdian ini adalah memahami bentuk-bentuk perilaku perundungan (bullying) yang terjadi di kalangan siswa, memahami faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya perilaku perundungan (bullying) di kalangan siswa, memahami dampak perilaku perundungan (bullying) di kalangan siswa dan upaya untuk mengatasi terjadinya perilaku bullying di kalangan siswa. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah penyluhan dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan hasil sebagaimana yang diharapkan. Hal tersebut didukung oleh beberapa faktor: (1) urgensi materi yang disampaikan oleh tim pelaksana pengabdian dalam rangka mencegah terjadinya perilaku bullying bagi siswa SMP Negeri 1 Gerung (2) Adanya dukungan dari pihak Kepala SMP Negeri 1 Gerung dan para khalayak sasaran kegiatan. Sementara faktor penghambat tidak menjadi penghalang namun bisa diatasi oleh tim pelaksana pengabdian, sehingga kegiatan pengabdian dapat terlaksana dan mencapai hasil sebagaimana diharapkan.

Abstract

Karaoke businesses in Kota Dumai growing very rapidly. Karaoke is a business that provides space, equipment and facilities for singing to the accompaniment of recorded music as well as provide restaurant or restaurant. There are deviations resulting from the presence of the karaoke business. So the karaoke business supervision is essential to prevent penympangan-deviations.The method used in this study is qualitative methods of data processed not in the form of numbers, but in the form of an explanation that describes the shape of the state, process, certain events. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, documentation and observation.Results of this study illustrate that the implementation of the supervision of the karaoke business in Kota Dumai still not performing well, ranging from preventive and repressive control, and no firmness in imposing sanctions. This is evidenced by the presence of karaoke places that do not have a license, which provides a moral violation female commercial sex workers, selling illegal liquor-liquor, selling drugs, breaking the operating hours and other things that are contrary to Dumai Mayor Regulation No. 21 Year 2013 About Procedures and Procedures for Tourism Business License.Keywords : Monitoring , Preventive , Repressive

Abstract

As one we knows our State which is the loved one Indonesia State this rich will tradition, tradition or culture even that can pride us winked by the world. Penelitan this was done to know ninik mamak's role in customs terminological artistry which apply at Binamang's village, and Whatever ninik mamak's role in artistry area that experience change at silvan Binamang, and the latest For Whats factor that cause changed on ninik mamak's role in artistry at silvan Binamang. Respondent in observational it is ninik mamak in yanga's terms is at binamang But disina is researcher just takes four tribe that is made as respondent which is Paduko Rajo's Malay tribe, Sinaro's malay, Caniago, and Pitopang.Observational location to be done at binamang's village Koto Kamapar's XIII district, writer will work through ninik mamak's role shift in artistry area at silvan Binamang. To get needful data deep observational it, writer gathers data by interview wield kuisoner's list. Abstract

Di dalam al-Qur’an, bahasa yang menegaskan mengenai konsep keburukan sangat beragam, adakalanya term keburukan itu menggunakan kata su’, qabih, fasad, fahsya’, dan lain sebagainya. Semua penjelasan konsep keburukan dengan bahasa kata yang bervariasi ini adalah wujud agar hakikat dari keburukan dapat diketahui, sehingga akan dapat dibedakan mana itu jalan yang benar dan mana itu jalan yang salah. Secara umum, term keburukan dengan bahasa fahsya’ beserta kata jadiannya adalah gambaran bahwa konsep kata ini diperuntukkan pada segela hal yang mengindikasikan pada wilayah keburukan, kemaksiatan, dosa yang keluar pada wilayah batas kewajaran, serta dipandang sangat hina oleh akal sehat manusia dan syariat Islam.

Abstract

Kondisi dari keadaan di kawasan Jalan Frans Kaisepo Kelurahan Malaingkedi Kota Sorong. Hampir setiap tahun pada musim penghujan air meluap dari saluran drainase, sehingga terjadi genangan/banjir yang mengganggu aktivitas masyarakat. Berdasarkan identifikasi, genangan yang terjadi disebabkan oleh karena banyaknya sedimentasi sampah dan material bangunan di dalam saluran tersebut, sehingga air di dalam saluran drainase tidak mengalir dan kapasitas saluran drainase yang tidak mampu menampung akumulasi air hujan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kapasitas tampung drainase dan untuk mengetahui penyebab banjir, serta mencari solusinya. Setelah curah hujan maksimum didapat, maka dilanjutkan dengan perhitungan intensitas curah hujan. Selanjutnya perhitungan standar deviasi untuk mendapatkan perhitungan kala ulang dengan menggunakan metode log person type III. Dari perhitungan periode ulang tersebut, baru dilakukan perhitungan debit saluran yang ada.  Dari analisa yang telah dilakukan, kapasitas saluran tanpa adanya sedimentasi kondisi optimalnya didapat saluran ruas kanan mampu menampung 92.81%, saluran ruas kiri mampu menampung 73.31% intensitas hujan 2 tahun. Saluran ruas Kanan mampu menampung 72.02% dan ruas kiri mampu menampung 56.91% akibat intensitas hujan periode ulang 5 tahun. Saluran kanan mampu menampung 63.10% sedangkan kiri mampu menampung 49.08% akibat intensitas hujan periode ulang 10 tahun. debit banjir periode ulang untuk ruas jalan Frans Kaisepo di dapat: Ruas kanan : Q2 = 2.82 m3/dtk, Q2 = 3.64 m3/dtk, dan Q10 = 4.15 m3/dtk . Ruas kiri  : Q2 = 4.33 m3/dtk, Q5 = 5.58 m3/dtk, dan Q10 = 6.37 m3/dtk. Jadi Untuk mengatasi genangan yang ada pada ruas jalan tersebut perlu dilakukan pengerukkan/pembersihan sedimentasi terhadap saluran drainase yang ada sehingga bisa menampung Q2th, Q5th dan Q10th terhadap drainase ruas kanan, ruas kiri hanya bisa menampung Q2th. Sehingga drainase ruas kiri harus desain penampang baru agar bisa menampung Q5th dan Q10th.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk humor yang terdapat dalam syair sastra lisan Banjar madihin dan (2) mendeskripsikan fungsi-fungsi humor yang terdapat dalam syair sastra lisan Banjar madihin.Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan sosiologis sastra dan jenis penelitian kepustakaan.Metode kualitatif merupakan metode yang digunakan.Sumber data yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini ialah rekaman video sastra lisan Banjar madihin.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, observasi, studi pustaka, baca, dan catat.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk humor yang terdapat dalam syair sastra lisan Banjar madihin meliputi: a) humor bahasa, b) humor pergunjingan, c) humor pornografi, d) humor teka-teki, e) humor kritik, dan f) humor meringankan beban pesan, sedangkan fungsi humor yang terdapat dalam syair sastra lisan Banjar madihin meliputi: a) fungsi hiburan, b) fungsi menyampaikan pesan, c) fungsi toleransi, d) fungsi memahami soal pelik, e) fungsi sindiran, dan f) fungsi kritik
