Abstract

Perubahan sosial belakangan ini semakin cepat dan kompleks. Sesuatu yang semula diperkirakan tidak akan atau tidak mungkin terjadi atau sulit terjadi, semua itu mulai terjawab. Yang jauh menjadi dekat, yang lamban menjadi cepat, dan yang berat menjadi ringan telah terjadi dan seluruh masyarakat mengakuinya. Semua itu terjadi tiada lain karena kemahadahsyatan perkembangan dan pengguna ilmu dan teknologi (IPTEK), khususnya Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) atau Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Perkembangan TIK telah memberikan kontribusi yang sangat besar pada berbagai perubahan dan perkembangan dalam semua sektor pembangunan (kehidupan), antara lain dalam sektor pelayanan publik. Abstract

Pengangguran di kalangan sarjana merupakan suatu fenomena masalah sosial yang terus menggejala. Menjadi suatu keprihatinan bersama bahwa kaum muda yang nota bene telah belajar di perguruan tinggi dalam masa yang cukup lama ternyata menganggur. Sebagian mereka terus berusaha untuk mencari pekerjaan sesuai ijasahnya, dan enggan untuk bekerja di luar disiplin ilmunya, apalagi terjun dalam dunia usaha. Mereka memilih menganggur daripada bekerja di luar disiplin ilmunya dengan dalih tidak suka, atau sebenarnya karena mereka malas dan gengsi.Ada beberapa alasan mengapa sarjana menganggur. Salah satu diantaranya adalah karena sulitnya memasuki lapangan kerja. Banyak lapangan tidak menerima tenaga kerja baru yang disebabkan menurunnya produksi atau menurunnya kebutuhan layanan jasa yang dikelolanya. Mereka tidak diterima mungkin juga karena mereka tidak memenuhi persyaratan yang diberlakukan dalam lapangan kerja bersangkutan. Alasan lain adalah karena mereka tidak memiliki “nilai lebih” (value added), yakni kemampuan (keterampilan) tertentu yang bisa menjadi modal penting untuk diterapkan dalam dunia usaha guna memperoleh pendapatan. Yang lebih memprihatinkan jika mereka menganggur karena mereka memang malas bekerja dan cenderung bergantung pada orang lain, terutama pada orangtua (keluarga). Seyogyanya ketika seseorang telah menyandang gelar sarjana yang diperoleh melalui proses pendidikan dalam kurun waktu empat tahun maka mereka tidak lagi bergantung pada siapapun.

Abstract

Perangkat desa merupakan aparatur pemerintah tingkat desa dengan tugas menyelenggarakan roda pemerintahan di tingkat desa, khususnya dalam dalam bida layanan publik. Peningkatan kualitas kinerja kepala desa merupakan suatu tuntutan dalam rangka memberikan layanan publik yang memuaskan. Namun pengalaman di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak atau pada umumnya perangkat desa mengalami keterbatasan kemampuan untuk melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya, khususnya dalam layanan publik di desa. Peningkatan kualotas kinerja kepala desa dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara, antara lain adalah melalui pelatihan yang dilaksanakan secara berencana dan berkesinambungan. Dengan pelatihan tersebut akan meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap baru perangkat desa sehingga dalam memberikan layanan betul-betul memuaskan masyarakat desa.

Abstract

Waste has been a part of human life since the beginning of civilization. Waste is the end result of activities carried out by humans and nature that are wasted and do not have economic value. Waste problems mainly occur in urban areas because of high population density and activity and are problems that are difficult to overcome and require proper handling. Conventional waste handling by collecting, transporting and disposing to landfills (TPS) has not been able to solve the waste problem completely, therefore innovation is needed in handling and processing waste as a whole so that it has a positive impact on the health of the environment and the economy of the community. One of the innovations or alternative solutions in handling waste is through community empowerment, namely by forming a waste bank. The program is integrating the principles of 3R in waste management (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) will make community empowerment more effective and efficient by creating creative ideas in processing waste. The government of Surabaya, as one of the second largest cities in Indonesia with a high population density has quite complex waste problems. Several programs have been carried out to deal with the waste problem, including through community empowerment by involving government participation. Here, we use a qualitative descriptive method that aims to convey facts about waste management by empowering the community and the impact of implementing the program both from an economic and environmental standpoint, especially in the Surabaya area. The research shows that changing something from zero value things requires high collaboration and creativity which is shown by the handling of waste through a waste bank program with creative ideas of the community and the participation of the government that have had a positive impact, for everyone, environment and nation in the future. Abstract

 This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of case study research. The data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation with purposeful sampling techniques. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses componential techniques. The results of this study are: First, finding standards used in the implementation of performance appraisal policies, namely: Punctuality Standards, Quality Standards, Quantity Standards, Behavior Standards, and Yield Standards. Second, Find the performance appraisal models used in the implementation of performance appraisal policies, namely: Chcklist Model, Graphic Scale Model, Concise Description Model, Management by Objective (MBO) Model and Mixed model (mixed), which combines several models as follows: check list model, concise description and graphical scale model. And third, find obstacles that occur in the implementation of performance appraisal policies, namely: Manual assessment system, equality of performance appraisal models, lack of socialization, the subjectivity of appraisers, and the absence of feedback from employees.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate: 1) the impact of leadership, discipline, and work ethic on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus at the Livestock Service of East Java Province, 2) the impact of leadership, discipline, and work ethic on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus at the Livestock Service of East Java Province concurrently, and 3) the variables that most dominantly influence the performance of the State Civil Apparatus at the East Java Province. The research findings show that: 1) Leadership partially influences performance; 2) Work Discipline has no effect on performance; 3) The coefficient of determination results show that 88.5% of employee performance variables can be explained by independent variables, namely Leadership (X1) and Work Discipline (X2), while the remaining 13.7% is explained by other variables outside the study.

Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia yang dikenal sebagai salah satu pembelajaran tersulit perlu dilaksanakana secara tepat sehingga menciptakan pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi teori kognitif dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada Kurikulum Merdeka di kelas SD tingkat rendah dan tinggi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan yang dilaksanakan di SDN 05 Kotalama. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan teknik wawancara mendalam terhadap guru kelas dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teori kognitif cukup sering diterapkan oleh guru karena sesuai dengan tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka. Teori kognitif mendukung siswa untuk berproses secara natural tanpa adanya tekanan-tekanan tertentu yang berlebihan. Proses belajar yang natural itu terjadi karena guru mempertimbangkan tingkat kognisi siwa dan menguatamakan proses dibandingkan hasil. Teori kognitif juga mendukung siswa untuk belajar dari lingkungan dan pengalamannya sehingga pembelajaran berlangsung lebih menyenangkan. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan adanya perbedaan implementasi teori kognitif dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas rendah dan tinggi.

Abstract

Education is one of the most important needs in life. The success of education is seen from the achievements obtained. Achievements are not only in academic form, but also in non-academic form. In the era of globalization, educational institutions are competent in offering their respective superior programs. This is because educational institutions must be able to answer the challenges of the development of the times according to the needs of the community. The One Student, One Achievement program implemented at Al-Rifa'ie Modern Middle School aims to train students' honesty and see students' non-academic achievements. The purpose of this study is to explore in detail the implementation of One Student, One Achievement at Al-Rifa'ie Modern Middle School. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by conducting observations followed by documentation. Observations were carried out by directly observing the One Student, One Achievement process, while documentation was carried out by looking at student summary documents. The results of the study indicate that the One Student, One Achievement program is effective to be implemented at the junior high school level. With the One Student, One Achievement program, it is hoped that students will be accustomed to having good character.

Abstract

Recently, studies examining the inclusion of Islamic character education in schooling sectors have been exclusively discerned. The research mainly focused on teachers’ and students’ perceptions, curriculum and materials development, as well as policy implementation. Albeit the results of these studies shared significant insights in teacher education programs, very sparse discussions were carried out with regard to how the Islamic character education should be enacted. Interestingly, virtual education nowadays also challenges the implementation of this notion. In this work, therefore, we propose a model of Islamic character education cultivation employing e-learning approach in a schooling context. The use of participatory action research (PAR), additionally, is encouraged to capture learning cycles of Islamic character in the classroom between teachers and students. This proposal, if implemented by teachers, would contribute to better realization of moderate teachings of Islam through character education.
