Abstract

SMK Swasta Trisula Dolok Sanggul is one of the private schools in Dolok Sanggul. This school has 3 departments, namely (1) Department of Light Vehicle Engineering (Automotive), (2) Audio Video Engineering (Electronics Engineering) and (3) Computer and Network Engineering. The results of learning observations at Trisula Dolok Sanggul Private Vocational School in Humbang Hasundutan Regency show that learning during this pandemic still uses WhatsApp groups to inform students about assignments. This is felt to be less effective for students. Apart from that, teachers at Trisula Dolok Sanggul Private Vocational School are still not optimal in utilizing information technology and the internet as learning media. By conducting more intensive training for teachers and students regarding the use of learning media and the function of media in the learning process, it is hoped that teachers will use digital-based learning media more often, because the use of digital-based learning media will be very beneficial for students in understanding the subject matter even though it has already been implemented. face to face/offline and students are more motivated to take part in these lessons. he conclusions from this activity are:1. Increased use of online-based PowerPoint learning media by teachers to improve student quality 2. Increased student motivation in participating in learning through Powerpoint learning media provided by the teacher 3. Providing 1 unit of ViewSonic SVGA 4000 ANSI LUMENS/HDMI Projector to SMK Swasta Trisula Dolok Sanggul 4. Monitoring is carried out after the implementation of service activities

Abstract

Reservoir is a building used as a place to hold clean water before being distributed. Artificial resevoir can be a steel tank or reinforced concrete tub. For reservoir that is planned to accommodate large amounts of water capacity, it is usually more effective to use reinforced concrete. Evaluation and analysis of reservoir construction is one of the important aspects to ensure that the reservoir design meets the requirements of strength and stability, as well as functional abilities. The problem that often occurs in reservoir buildings is the occurrence of uncontrolled uplift which results upward movement in the construction of the reservoir, and also the reservoir building often decreases differently due to improper foundation systems. This different decline resulted in cracks on the floor of the reservoir building which in turn will cause damage and malfunction of the reservoir construction. This paper contains a study of planning evaluation and analysis, and the method of implementation of severalconstructions of reservoir structures that have been carried out. The results of this study are expected to provide input and help planners and contractors to build reinforced concrete reservoirs that comply with the correct planning criteria, so that the building can function properly as planned.

Abstract

Abstrak: Studi Literatur: Pengaruh Gempa Terhadap Jembatan. Kerusakan jembatan akibat gempa bumi menghasilkan kerusakan fisik dan efek ekonomi terhadap sistem transportasi. Faktor gempa bumi dalam memberikan efek kerusakan pada gempa dipengaruhi pula dengan variabel-variabel lainnya, diantaranya Metode, Bentuk Gelagar, Bahan Jembatan, Bentuk dan Panjang Bentang, serta Panjang Total Jembatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat perbedaan yang signifikan berdasarkan kriteria yang digunakan oleh penelitian sebelumnya melalui studi literatur hasil penelitian. Dalam penelitian ini akan dijabarkan, hasil-hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti sebelumnya yang dibagi berdasarkan enam variabel penelitian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Tahapan penelitian ini dimulai dari pemilihan topik tujuan, mencari dan memilih artikel yang sesuai, menganalisis dan mensintesis litertur, serta mengorganisasikan penulisan argument. Berdasarkan studi literatur yang dilakukan pada keenam variabel penelitian, penjabaran terlengkap mengenai pengaruh gempa terhadap jembatan dijelaskan melalui variabel metode penelitian, bagian-bagian jembatan yang paling menerima pengaruh gempa adalah pilar serta gelagar jembatan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan informasi bahwa terdapat variabel lainnya yang belum dijabarkan secara rinci sejauh apa pengaruhnya terhadap kerusakan jembatan sebagai akibat dari terjadinya gempa bumi. Merujuk hasil penelitian ini, maka analisis terhadap variabel lainnya sangat dibutuhkan dan berpotensi untuk memberikan hasil dan sudut pandang yang berbeda terkait faktor yang mempengaruhi kerusakan jembatan akibat gempa bumi. The earthquake factor in giving the effect of damage to the earthquake is also influenced by other variables, including the method, the shape of the girder, the bridge material, the shape and length of the span, and the total length of the bridge. The purpose of this study was to see significant differences based on the criteria used by previous studies through a literature study of research results. In this study, the results of research conducted by previous researchers are divided based on six research variables. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The stages of this research start from selecting the topic of interest, finding and selecting appropriate articles, analyzing and synthesizing literature, and organizing argument writing. Based on the literature study conducted on the six research variables, the most complete description of the effect of the earthquake on the bridge is explained through the variables of the research method, the parts of the bridge that are most affected by the earthquake are the pillars and bridge girders. The results of this study provide information that there are other variables that have not been described in detail to what extent they affect bridge damage as a result of the earthquake. Referring to the results of this study, analysis of other variables is needed and has the potential to provide different results and perspectives regarding the factors that affect bridge damage due to earthquakes.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) adalah Program Pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang ditujukan untuk membantu masyarakat yang sangat membutuhkan. Para ibu yang tergabung dalam wadah Wanita Katolik Ranting 4 Suka Maju, merupakan masyarakat yang tidak produktif secara ekonomi. Dengan kegiatan PKM ini diharapkan dapat memberi manfaat bagi mitra. Adapun tujuan kegiatan ini adalah hendak melaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat kepada para ibu yang tergabung dalam Wanita Katolik Ranting 4 Suka Maju, Tanjung Selamat, Kecamatan Medan Selayang dengan mengadakan penyuluhan dan pembuatan pupuk kompos yang dibimbing langsung oleh narasumber di bidang pertaniam. Adapun kegunaan pupuk kompos bisa sebagai pengganti pupuk kimia yang harganya jauh lebih mahal dan sering langka di pasar, sehingga limbah pertanian dan peternakan yang selama ini sebagai bahan buangan itu tidak lagi menjadi limbah yang mencemari lingkungan. Juga pupuk kompos bisa dijual menjadi sumber pendapatan bagi kas perkumpulan, sehingga para ibu di Wanita Katolik Ranting 4 Suka Maju diharapkan menjadi produktif secara ekonomi. Pada kegiatan ini, TIM PKM menyerahkan satu unit mesin pencacah limbah pertanian kepada mitra, untuk memudahkan mitra memproses pembuatan kompos. Diharapkan mitra dapat memanfaatkan pengetahuan yang diberikan dan menggunkan mesin pencacah dengan baik. PKM is a community service program aimed at helping communities in need. Women who are members of the Wanita Katolik Ranting 4 Suka Maju are people who are not economically productive. With this PKM activity, it is hoped that it can provide benefits for partners. The purpose of this activity is to carry out community service to women who are members of Wanita Katolik Ranting 4 Suka Maju, Tanjung Selamat, Medan Selayang Subdistrict by holding counseling and making compost which is directly guided by resource persons in the agricultural sector. The use of compost can be used as a substitute for chemical fertilizers, which are much more expensive and are often scarce in the market, so that agricultural and livestock waste that has been used as a waste material will no longer be a waste that pollutes the environment. Also, compost can be sold as a source of income for the association's treasury, so the Wanita Katolik Ranting 4 Suka Maju are expected to be economically productive. In this activity, the PKM TEAM handed over a unit of the agricultural waste chopper to partners, to make it easier for partners to process compost making. It is hoped that partners can take advantage of the knowledge provided and use the enumerator well.
