Abstract

Natural frequency is one of the factors in bridge construction. Because the natural frequency can be used as an indicator to detect the ability of the bridge, including the ability to withstand resonance. In addition, the natural frequency is also a way to analyze damage that will or has already occurred to a bridge. One of the analytical methods that can be used to analyze natural frequency values is the Undamped-Degree of Freedom. The results of this study indicate that the natural frequency value of the Sei Wampu Bridge has a value of 10.97 rad/s for the first mode, 18.06 rad/sec for the second ,mode and 20.34 rad/sec for the third mode. From the results of this analysis, it can be seen that the natural frequency value will increase as the bridge mode increases.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas perbandingan nilai frekuensi alami Jembatan Sei Wampu yang diperoleh melalui simulasi numerik ABAQUS dan metode teoritik Dunkerley. Simulasi numerik dengan ABAQUS menghasilkan nilai frekuensi alami sebesar 10,711 rad/det, sedangkan metode Dunkerley memberikan nilai sebesar 10,60 rad/det. Persentase perbedaan antara kedua metode tersebut berkisar antara 0,93% hingga 0,94%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa metode Dunkerley mampu memberikan estimasi awal perilaku dinamik struktur dengan akurasi yang cukup baik. Namun, simulasi numerik menawarkan keunggulan dalam mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor kompleks seperti distribusi kekakuan, massa, dan kondisi batas struktur. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penggunaan gabungan pendekatan teoritik dan numerik untuk meningkatkan keandalan hasil analisis dalam proses desain dan evaluasi struktur jembatan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan praktis bagi para perencana struktur dalam mengoptimalkan kombinasi pendekatan teoritik dan numerik.

Abstract

Abstrak: Studi Literatur: Pengaruh Gempa Terhadap Jembatan. Kerusakan jembatan akibat gempa bumi menghasilkan kerusakan fisik dan efek ekonomi terhadap sistem transportasi. Faktor gempa bumi dalam memberikan efek kerusakan pada gempa dipengaruhi pula dengan variabel-variabel lainnya, diantaranya Metode, Bentuk Gelagar, Bahan Jembatan, Bentuk dan Panjang Bentang, serta Panjang Total Jembatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat perbedaan yang signifikan berdasarkan kriteria yang digunakan oleh penelitian sebelumnya melalui studi literatur hasil penelitian. Dalam penelitian ini akan dijabarkan, hasil-hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti sebelumnya yang dibagi berdasarkan enam variabel penelitian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Tahapan penelitian ini dimulai dari pemilihan topik tujuan, mencari dan memilih artikel yang sesuai, menganalisis dan mensintesis litertur, serta mengorganisasikan penulisan argument. Berdasarkan studi literatur yang dilakukan pada keenam variabel penelitian, penjabaran terlengkap mengenai pengaruh gempa terhadap jembatan dijelaskan melalui variabel metode penelitian, bagian-bagian jembatan yang paling menerima pengaruh gempa adalah pilar serta gelagar jembatan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan informasi bahwa terdapat variabel lainnya yang belum dijabarkan secara rinci sejauh apa pengaruhnya terhadap kerusakan jembatan sebagai akibat dari terjadinya gempa bumi. Merujuk hasil penelitian ini, maka analisis terhadap variabel lainnya sangat dibutuhkan dan berpotensi untuk memberikan hasil dan sudut pandang yang berbeda terkait faktor yang mempengaruhi kerusakan jembatan akibat gempa bumi. The earthquake factor in giving the effect of damage to the earthquake is also influenced by other variables, including the method, the shape of the girder, the bridge material, the shape and length of the span, and the total length of the bridge. The purpose of this study was to see significant differences based on the criteria used by previous studies through a literature study of research results. In this study, the results of research conducted by previous researchers are divided based on six research variables. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The stages of this research start from selecting the topic of interest, finding and selecting appropriate articles, analyzing and synthesizing literature, and organizing argument writing. Based on the literature study conducted on the six research variables, the most complete description of the effect of the earthquake on the bridge is explained through the variables of the research method, the parts of the bridge that are most affected by the earthquake are the pillars and bridge girders. The results of this study provide information that there are other variables that have not been described in detail to what extent they affect bridge damage as a result of the earthquake. Referring to the results of this study, analysis of other variables is needed and has the potential to provide different results and perspectives regarding the factors that affect bridge damage due to earthquakes.

Abstract

The community service activities carried out aim to provide training related to data-based planning to non-driving school principals to improve the competence of school principals in implementing the independent curriculum. The method of implementing the activity is carried out in 3 ways, namely training, demonstration, and evaluation. The participants of the activity are elementary, junior high, and high school principals who are not included in the category of driving school principals, which total 40 people. The evaluation of community service activities was carried out by distributing questionnaires related to the understanding of school principals in planning data-based activities in implementing the independent curriculum implementation independently. The results of the questionnaire data understanding were analyzed descriptively. The results of the questionnaire analysis showed that 75% (good category) of the school principals' understanding of data-based planning had increased. The results of the analysis also show that the principals are motivated to understand the data of each school, both from the latest Education Report data and field observation data, in planning activities related to the independent implementation of the curriculum. Follow-up assistance is needed to ensure that data-based planning has been implemented by all principals. Furthermore, continuous evaluation and reflection activities also need to be carried out in subsequent activities to evaluate the success of the data-based planning that has been carried out by the principals.

Abstract

Bridges are critical infrastructure highly vulnerable to earthquake-induced damage, posing serious risks to transportation continuity and public safety. Traditional methods, such as visual inspection, remain in use; however, they are limited in efficiency, scalability, and accuracy. This highlights the urgent need for more advanced approaches. Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) have emerged as promising alternatives for assessing post-earthquake bridge damage. However, existing studies often lack a systematic synthesis of methodological trends, rely on limited or unstandardized datasets, and insufficiently address real-world implementation challenges. This study conducts a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to critically examine the application of ML/AI in post-earthquake bridge damage assessment, focusing on methodological trends, commonly used datasets, and implementation challenges. Relevant journal articles published between 2019 and 2025 were selected through structured keyword strategies and filtered based on publication type, relevance, and journal quality (Q1-Q4). The findings indicate that Random Forest (RF) and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) are among the most widely applied ML methods, owing to their strengths in classification and visual data analysis. Frequently used datasets include bridge damage records from California, shake table test time-series data, and sensor-based monitoring data. Persistent challenges include data heterogeneity, limited availability of real-time datasets, and the interpretability of ML models. The novelty of this study lies in providing a consolidated synthesis of current research, bridging methodological gaps, and highlighting implementation challenges. Future research should focus on developing real-time datasets, establishing robust model validation frameworks, and enhancing the interpretability of ML techniques to strengthen disaster risk mitigation and improve bridge resilience.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan melalui pelatihan perencanaan pembelajaran mendalam bagi guru MTs Al-Fauzi di Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Tujuan kegiatan adalah meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) yang kontekstual, kreatif, dan sesuai dengan prinsip pembelajaran mendalam. Partisipan kegiatan berjumlah 20 orang yang terdiri dari 16 orang guru perempuan dan 4 orang guru laki-laki. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup analisis kebutuhan, workshop, pendampingan, serta evaluasi melalui pemberian tes awal dan akhir. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi pada aspek: pemahaman penyusunan RPP meningkat dari rata-rata 55,25 menjadi 74,5. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa program pengabdian memfasilitasi permasalahan mitra yang sebelumnya kesulitan memahami bagaimana merancang pembelajaran yang bermakna. Namun, keterbatasan waktu pelatihan, jumlah peserta yang terbatas, serta belum adanya monitoring jangka panjang menjadi tantangan yang perlu diperbaiki. Program ini direkomendasikan untuk dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan berkelanjutan dan perluasan cakupan ke madrasah lain agar dampaknya lebih luas.

Abstract

Composite steel-concrete structures are widely applied in modern construction due to their material efficiency, high strength-to-weight ratio, and reliable structural performance. As design demand evolve, the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) continues to be updated to enhance safety and consistency in structural design. One significant revision occurred in SNI 1729:2020, which replaced SNI 1729:2015 and introduced changes in material strength provisions, strength-reduction factors, and flexural capacity calculations for composite members. However, quantitative studies examining the impact of these updates remain limited. This study aims to analyze and compare the flexural capacity of composite beams based on manual calculations following SNI 1729:2015 and SNI 1729:2020. Several types of steel girders with variations in span length and slab thickness were evaluated. The results indicate a very high level of equivalence between the nominal and factored flexural capacities obtained from both standards. All girder types produced identical values, demonstrating that no difference exists in the level of conservatism in estimating the flexural capacity of composite elements. Nevertheless, the use of SNI 1729:2020 is recommended due to its improved structure, alignment with the international standard ASIC 360-16, and harmonization with other updated SNI provisions, which collectively enhance the reliability of steel structural design in Indonesia

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan gaya inersia gempa pada arah vertikal dan horizontal berdasarkan mode shape dominan dari Jembatan Sei Wampu. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitaif dengan analisis modal linier menggunakan perangkat lunak ABAQUS untuk memperoleh frekuensi alami dan mode shape utama struktur. Nilai mode shape dan massa pada tiap noda kemudian digunakan untuk menghitung gaya inersia akibat beban gempa vertikal dan horizontal berdasarkan spektrum respons elastis sesuai dengan SNI 2833:2016. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa gaya inersia akibat gempa vertikal mencapai 811,77 kN, sedikit lebih besar dibanding gaya inersia horizontal sebesar 805,31 kN. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa komponen vertikal gempa, yang sering diabaikan dalam perencanaan awal struktur jembatan di Indonesia, dapat memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap respons awal struktur. Studi ini merekomendasikan agar gaya gempa vertikal dipertimbangkan secara eksplisit dalam evaluasi awal berbasis mode dominan, terutama pada jembatan bentang panjang yang menunjukkan deformasi dominan secara vertikal pada mode pertama. Implikasi dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar dalam penyempurnaan standar desain seismik nasional dan peningkatan praktik evaluasi risiko jembatan di wilayah rawan gempa.
