Abstract

The role of marketing communication strategy is very important for companies in marketing products to their target market. Marketing communication of alcoholic beverage products which is hampered by promotion, marketing and distribution requires the right strategy in its implementation to ensure business continuity. This research has an exploratory constructivist paradigm. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategy carried out by the management of PT. Multi Bintang Indonesia as a marketing communication strategy for Bir Bintang alcoholic beverages. The research data collection method is through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis of this research is descriptive qualitative. Informant data collection technique is purposive sampling at the Area Business Manager and Business Development Executive PT. Multi Bintang Indonesia Commerce. The results of the study reveal that the company's strategy is more focused on online aspects, including the use of social media, websites and e-commerce to inform products, sales, and campaigns. The form of marketing communication carried out by PT. Multi Bintang Indonesia in the form of direct and interactive marketing, sales promotion, event marketing, merchandise, personal selling, public relations, and word of mouth.

Abstract

Education is a learning process conducted in schools as formal educational institutions to equip students with the skills and awareness needed for developing interests and talents while fostering independence. Education should be capable of generating ideas or works that contribute to the advancement of a nation, one of which is character education. The Research and Development Agency of the Ministry of Education and Culture has formulated 18 values encompassed within character education, one of which is environmental care. This objective can be achieved through project-based learning utilizing used cooking oil to create aromatherapy candles. The method employed in this endeavor is a practical approach, in which the author plays the role of a teacher or facilitator at the ICC Ladang Kosma, conducting project-based learning activities. The outcome of this initiative is that students at ICC Ladang Kosma acquire new knowledge and experiences regarding the positive and negative impacts of producing aromatherapy candles from used cooking oil, indirectly instilling character education among the students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru di sekolah dalam menanamkan karakter toleransi dalam pembelajaran kepada peserta didik di sekolah inklusi dengan adanya ABK di kelas serta untuk menguraikan dampak dari penguatan karakter toleransi setelah pengimplementasian pendidikan karakter toleransi bagi anak normal. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif induktif. Subjek penelitian yaitu kepala sekolah, guru kelas, guru, guru pendamping kelas serta siswa. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan wawancara kepala sekolah dan guru, observasi siswa dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pengimplementasian penanaman karakter toleransi merujuk pada kurikulum Dinas Pendidikan, Ismuba Sekolah Alam. Penerapan ini diintegrasikan baik di dalam maupun di luar pembelajaran dalam bentuk kebiasaan sehari-hari.  (2) Siswa menunjukkan sikap menyayangi, menghargai, serta menghormati terhadap perbedaan yang artinya telah terjadi keberhasilan dalam implementasi penanaman pendidikan karakter toleransi yang dilakukan guru.

Abstract

This study delves into the expanding differences and diversities among students in higher education, encompassing various backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures, and learning styles. The advent of technological advancements has prompted educators to reevaluate traditional teaching approaches, emphasizing the importance of aligning teaching methods with students' learning styles to prevent dissonance. Misalignment between teaching and learning styles can lead to student dissatisfaction and poor performance. This paper explores the significance of learning styles in achieving successful education outcomes. It investigates how individual learning styles, such as visual, auditory, and kinesthetic, impact language learning success, particularly in English education. The study examines the correlation between learning styles, hobbies, and language acquisition techniques. The results indicate that incorporating hobbies into learning can enhance students' comfort and receptiveness to the educational process, thereby promoting language skills development.

Abstract

In an organization, a crisis is considered a negative event that has the potential to affect the organization or company. The Ministry of Finance as one of the state institutions is not free from problems, starting with the case of the beating of the son of a tax official (Rafael Alun Trisambodo). This research aims to reveal the crisis communication strategy carried out by the Ministry of Finance. This study uses a qualitative method. The data collection technique in this research uses literature studies and documentation studies via online media, namely kompas.com and detik.com with a time span of 20 February 2023 to 17 April 2023. The data analysis technique used by researchers is descriptive narrative. The results of this research show that the Ministry of Finance is experiencing a crisis, so several crisis communication strategies have been implemented, such as admitting mistakes, apologizing, and openness/transparency. The crisis communication strategy implemented by the Ministry of Finance, was able to reduce public anger. This research can be a reference, especially on crisis communication, namely by analyzing public relations responses.

Abstract

UMKM memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia, namun banyak UMKM yang belum optimal memanfaatkan pemasaran digital, khususnya Batik Canting Art di Sragen. Pandemi COVID-19 juga memperburuk kondisi dengan penurunan penjualan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan daya saing UMKM melalui digitalisasi pemasaran dan desain kemasan yang menarik, guna memperluas pangsa pasar dan meningkatkan omset penjualan. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan omset penjualan UMKM Batik Canting Art Sragen melalui penerapan digitalisasi marketing dan desain kemasan. Pendekatan ini diharapkan dapat memperluas pangsa pasar dengan memanfaatkan e-commerce, media sosial, serta desain kemasan yang menarik. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi penerapan teknologi digital. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan peningkatan penjualan melalui platform online, serta desain kemasan baru yang meningkatkan daya tarik produk di pasar.

Abstract

Tinder is one of the virtual spaces that allows individuals to negotiate and present themselves dynamically. Stereotypes and traditional social norms continue to influence how gender is understood and represented online, which in turn reinforces problematic biases in interactions in digital spaces. This study aims to analyze the construction of gender identity among Tinder dating app users within the framework of a digital society. Employing a qualitative method with a netnographic approach, this research involves the researcher's active participation in the Tinder platform's virtual space by observing 52 user accounts and conducting in-depth interviews with five informants. The findings reveal that Tinder users construct gender identity through visual and textual elements, including profile photos, brief bios, hobbies, and interests. Gender identity on the platform can be manipulated and diversified to represent themselves as "women" and or "men." It underscores the necessity for contextualization and redefinition of gender identity within cyberspace. The study makes a significant contribution by revealing how gender identity on Tinder challenges traditional binaries through performative practices that blur the rigid boundaries between “feminine” and “masculine” while offering new insights into gender fluidity within digital spaces as arenas for renegotiating social norms.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of integrated digital marketing communication in enhancing visitor attraction and promoting sustainability in Sumberbulu Tourism Village, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java. Drawing on a qualitative research design, the study employs literature review, field observations, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions with key stakeholders including village managers, local government representatives, and community members. The findings reveal that digital platforms—such as Instagram, Google Business, and Traveloka—are strategically used to promote cultural and ecological attractions. However, the digital marketing strategy faces challenges, including limited infrastructure, human resource capacity, and government support. To address these constraints, collaborative initiatives involving academic institutions and training programs have been implemented to improve digital literacy and promotional capabilities. The study also highlights the critical role of local community participation, particularly in tourism service delivery, environmental conservation, and cultural preservation. Women's involvement and community-based economic activities further reinforce the village's sustainability goals. The integration of digital technologies with community engagement and government support reflects the principles of community-based sustainable tourism (CBST). The study contributes to the academic discourse on rural tourism marketing and offers practical insights for policymakers and tourism managers aiming to enhance sustainable destination development. Future research should incorporate comparative studies across regions and include digital content creators and tourists to deepen understanding of participatory digital communication strategies in sustainable tourism.

Abstract

The marketing and product development of Micro and Small Enterprises (UMK) greatly rely on effective branding strategies. However, the utilization of online media for branding purposes is often lacking among MSE entrepreneurs. This community service initiative aimed to enhance the understanding and proficiency of UMK culinary product branding implementation in Karanganyar District, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java. The methodology involved short training and mentoring sessions for MSEs, focusing on three culinary business units, to design and develop marketing platforms through online media. The outcome of this activity demonstrated a significant improvement in MSEs' ability to leverage online media for branding their business products, as evidenced by the creation of various platforms such as e-commerce, Instagram, and TikTok. Implementing effective branding strategies through online media platforms has empowered MSEs to achieve optimal competitiveness in their respective culinary businesses. This study offers valuable insights and implications for researchers and professionals worldwide, highlighting the potential of online media in enhancing branding efforts for Micro and Small Enterprises in the culinary industry. Highlight: Community service enhances UMK entrepreneurs' understanding and implementation of branding through online media. Increased proficiency in utilizing platforms like e-commerce, Instagram, and TikTok. Optimal competitiveness and business development in the culinary industry.
