Abstract

This study aims to assess the impact of tourism on the economy in Ubud after travel restrictions were lifted, focusing on people working in the tourism sector. The study involved 150 respondents selected through purposive sampling and accidental sampling. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and confirmatory factor analysis. The results show that the impact of tourism in the Ubud destination after the lifting of travel restrictions which has the highest average value in each variable begins with an increase in souvenir sales with an average of 4.53, increasing market prices for local handicraft products with an average of 4.44, and increasing employment opportunities for local workers with an average of 4.60. The most felt economic impact in the direct impact section is an increase in the availability of local crafts with a CFA value of 0.751, then in the indirect impact there is the most felt impact of increased government spending on promotion with a CFA value of 0.898, and in the induced impact is an increase in the use of local labor with a CFA value of 0.875.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of women in tourism activities in Celuk Tourism Village, Gianyar Regency. The qualitative method with a descriptive approach was method used in this research and in terms of data collection, applied mostly in interviews and observation. The results of this research show that the role of women in tourism activities in Celuk Tourism Village plays a role in three things, namely: Women’s participation in tourist attractions, tourist facilities and tourism organizations and they are played all in one as owners and managers. Challenges for women in roles include a lack of skills in technology, the younger generation of women who are less interested in silversmithing and multiple roles.

Abstract

Tourist perception is a tourist's view, understanding of a tourist towards a tourist destination. Educational tourism products are activities that integrate learning experiences with recreation to provide added value to tourists. This study was conducted at Bali Bird Park with the aim of determining the perception of domestic tourists towards educational tourism products at Bali Bird Park. This study is quantitative with a sample of 100 respondents who have visited Bali Bird. The data obtained were processed using SPSS with Descriptive Analysis, Validity Test and Reliability Test. Based on the average of each variable, the accessibility variable has the highest average value of 4.54 with a very good category. Based on the accessibility variable indicator, tourists really like access to the Bali Bird Park tourist attraction because it makes it easy for tourists to find the location of Bali Bird Park. While the variable that has the lowest average value is the price variable with an average of 4.13 in the good category. This is because the prices given are still quite expensive such as food and drinks due to the lack of restaurant facilities or food stands.
