Abstract

Database performance is one of the main components in supporting the sustainability of a system, in this case, STARS. In the system context, data will usually be collected into a database. Tied to the data collection process, this really affects the performance of a system as a whole, in this case when executing a query to get a return of the execution results, because the performance of the database itself will be affected by the amount of data available. One way to improve the performance of the database is to use the partition table concept. Thus, in this research a design and evaluation of the partition table will be carried out which will then be applied to the SWCU STARS database. This research focuses more on the use of vertical partitions and list partitions by utilizing PostgreSQL version 14. The stages used in this study. These stages include data collection, partition design, technical partition, testing and implementation. The results of this study indicate that partition tables have better performance than non-partition tables. Judging from some of the sql syntax, namely update, delete and select, while insert has poor performance for partition tables compared to non-partition tables

Abstract

This study describes and predicts how users accept the implemented technology. This research uses a qualitative method approach. Data collection was carried out by interviewing three employees of the Policy Services Division of PT Asuransi Sinar Mas. Researchers researched in March 2020. The data obtained were then processed through data reduction, data presentation, and description conclusions. The results showed that employees in the company could accept technology because they perceive ease of use and usability. The emergence of a positive attitude towards the use of technology impacts the high interest in technology use behavior to increase the actual use of technology. The positive attitude of users towards technology is indicated by the satisfaction of using technology from employees. Researchers can measure technology acceptance based on perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, attitudes of using technology, interest in behavior using technology, and actual behavior using technology. It is necessary to improve the actual conduct of employees using technology that can improve company performance.

Abstract

E-Journal memiliki peran penting dalam membangun budaya berbagi pengetahuan pada Univeristas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW). Mengacu pada pemahaman tersebut, maka kehadiran ejournal di UKSW diletakkan sebagai basis mengembangkan dan distribusi pengetahuan yang terdapat dalam kalangan sivitas akademika. Penelitian ini melihat bagaimana peran E-Journal sebagai basis pengembangan Knowledge sharing pada UKSW. Guna mendapatkan data dan informasi dalam penelitian ini, maka digunakan pendekatan kualititatif, melalui proses wawancara. Adapun temuan yangdiperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah kehadiran E-journal memiliki peranan penting dalam mengembangkan budaya berbagi pengetahuan dengan memanfaatkan kehadiran teknologi informasi yang mendorong adanya efisiensi aksebilitas. Ejournal di UKSW memiliki peranan dalam melakukan diseminasi pengetahuan sebagia bentuk ineternalisasi terhadap pengetahuan yang ada.

Abstract

Pada masa kini di mana kemajuan teknologi informasi informasi yang semakin berkembang, penggunaan Teknologi Informasi dapat membantu perusahaan atau organisasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan mencapai tujuan organisasi tersebut. Kantor Otoritas Bandar Udara Wilayah VIII Manado telah menggunakan teknologi informasi untuk mendukung pekerjaan instansi. Saat ini terdapat beberapa aplikasi yang digunakan, baik aplikasi dari Kementerian Perhubungan dan aplikasi lokal dari Kantor Otoritas Bandar Udara Wilayah VIII Manado. Salah satu aplikasi yang digunakan adalah Sistem Pas Online. COBIT 5 digunakan penulis dalam melakukan evaluasi kinerja tata kelola TI yang sedang digunakan. Fokus penelitian ini ada pada domain Monitor, Evaluate and Assess (MEA). Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara, didapatkan hasil penelitian tingkat kapabilitas sub domain MEA01 berada pada level 5 Optimizing Process, sub domain MEA02 berada pada level 2 Managed Process, dan sub domain MEA03 berada pada level 4 Predictable Process. Untuk hasil perhitungan rata-rata seluruh proses domain MEA memperoleh nilai 3,66. Secara keseluruhan aktivitas tata kelola TI pada Kantor Otoritas Bandar Udara Wilayah VIII Manado telah berjalan cukup baik.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the main risks faced by SMAN 1 Ambarawa, evaluate the extent to which these risks are currently managed, and develop strategic recommendations to overcome existing obstacles and potential future risks. The framework used in this research is ISO 31000:2018 risk management framework. This research employs a qualitative approach, particularly through interviews with relevant stakeholders, to identify and analyze the problems that may affect school operations. Through this qualitative approach, various existing and potential risks can be systematically identified and analyzed. The identified risks are then analyzed and categorized into three levels: low, medium, and high risk, based on their likelihood and impact. Furthermore, appropriate risk treatment strategies are proposed for each identified risk to minimize negative consequences and improve institutional preparedness. The results of this study provide practical recommendations for SMAN 1 Ambarawa in managing risks and in developing preventive strategies to reduce the possibility of future disruptions in school activities and management processes.

Abstract

Digital archive management is an important challenge in supporting efficiency and compliance with bureaucracy in government agencies. The SRIKANDI application is a solution for digital letter archiving, but its implementation in the XYZ Office still faces various obstacles, such as the lack of an automated system that detects user access violations to the application, as well as the lack of a system that directly detects changes in external regulations. This study aims to evaluate the governance of the SRIKANDI application using the COBIT 2019 framework domain MEA. The research method employs a qualitative descriptive approach, involving interviews with application users and observations of the SRIKANDI application. This study focuses on three in the MEA domain, namely MEA01, MEA02, and MEA03. The results of this study indicate that the current capability levels for MEA01 and MEA02 are at level 3, and MEA03 is at level 5. This indicates that the application technology governance is not yet fully optimal and further improvements are still needed.Keyword: SRIKANDI; COBIT 2019; MEA; Capability level AbstrakPengelolaan arsip digital menjadi tantangan penting dalam mendukung efisiensi dan kepatuhan terhadap birokrasi di instansi pemerintah. Aplikasi SRIKANDI hadir sebagai solusi untuk pengarsipan surat secara digital, namun penerapannya di Dinas XYZ masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti belum tersedianya sistem otomatis yang mendeteksi pelanggaran akses pengguna aplikasi, serta belum adanya sistem yang mendeteksi secara langsung perubahan regulasi ekternal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tata kelola aplikasi SRIKANDI menggunakan framework COBIT 2019 domain MEA. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu melalui wawancara dengan pengguna aplikasi dan observasi terhadap aplikasi SRIKANDI. Penelitian ini berfokus pada 3 management objectives pada domian MEA, yaitu MEA01, MEA02, dan MEA03. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa capability level saat ini MEA01 dan MEA02 berada pada level 3, dan MEA03 berada pada level 5. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tata kelola teknologi aplikasi belum sepenuhnya optimal dan masih diperlukan perbaikan.Kata kunci: SRIKANDI; COBIT 2019; MEA; Capability level
