Abstract

The objective of the research was to examine and to analyze the Ethical Competency, Knowledge Competency, Capability Competency, Respect About Human Right and Value, Analysis Competency and Students Working Interest influence simultaneously and partially on Readiness Accounting Students FEB USU in the face of AEC (ASEAN Economic Community) as well as to determine whether the AEC Opportunities for Accountants in Indonesia and Challenges MEA for Accountants in Indonesia may moderate the relationship between Ethical Competency, Knowledge Competency, Capability Competency, Respect About Human Right and Value, Analysis Competency and Students Working Interest with the Student Readiness Accounting FEB USU in the face of the MEA. This research is associative causal research using primary data. The research population amounts to 225 students who are students of the seventh semester accounting (year in 2013). The sampling technique is using simple random sampling method with sloven formula for determining the number of samples. The analytical tool used in this study using multiple regression analysis. Based on test results simultaneously, the size of The objective of the research was to examine and to analyze the Ethical Competency, Knowledge Competency, Capability Competency, Respect About Human Right and Value, Analysis Competency and Students Working Interest in a significant effect on the readiness of Accounting Students FEB USU in the face of the AEC. Partially, this study found that each independent variable (Ethical Competency, Knowledge Competency, Capability Competency, Respect about Human Right and Value, Analysis Competency and Students Working Interest) partially significant positive effect on the readiness of Accounting Students FEB USU in the face of the AEC. Variable Opportunities AEC for Indonesian Accountants and Challenges MEA for the Indonesian Accountants cannot moderate the relationship between the variables of Ethical Competency, Knowledge Competency, Capability Competency, Respect About Human Right and Value, Analysis Competency and Students Working Interest in a significant effect on the readiness of Accounting Students FEB USU in the face AEC.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of facilities on accounting understanding through motivation as an intervening variable. The research method is quantitative. The population and samples came from active students as many as 112 respondents. The sampling technique used was quota sampling. The results showed that the facilities indirectly affected students' accounting understanding through motivation at STIE Mahkota Tricom Unggul. This means that motivation has a role in mediating facilities on accounting understanding.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh fasilitas dan pelayanan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan pada PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Medan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan pada PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Medan yang berjumlah 155 orang, sedangkan teknik penentuan sampel dengan random sampling yang berarti pengambilan sampel dari populasi dilakukan secara acak tanpa memperhatikan strata yang ada dalam populasi. Kemudian dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Maka, ditentukan sampel sebanyak 61 orang. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Deskriptif kuantitatif adalah statistik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data dengan cara mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan data yang telah terkumpul sebagaimana adanya tanpa bermaksud membuat kesimpulan yang berlaku untuk umum atau generalisasi. Hasil analisis regresi linear berganda yaitu Y = 7,778+0,397X1+0,440X2+ e yang menunjukkan bahwa fasilitas dan pelayanan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Sedangkan hasil uji parsial (uji t) menunjukkan bahwa fasilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dimana dapat dilihat 0,004 < 0,05 atau t hitung = 3,036 > t tabel 2,00. Dan pelayanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dimana dapat dilihat nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 atau t hitung = 4,171 > t tabel 2,00. Fasilitas dan pelayanan berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dimana dapat dilihat nilai signifikan F 0,000 < 0,05 atau nilai F hitung = 43,193 > F tabel 3,16. Hasil uji determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,598 atau (59,8%). Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa 59,8% variabel bebas yaitu fasilitas dan pelayanan pada model dapat menjelaskan sedangkan sisanya sebesar 40,2% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain diluar fasilitas dan pelayanan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of lifestyle, financial knowledge, and financial attitudes on financial management behavior. This research approach is quantitative. Collecting data using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The population comes from 128 active Polytechnic Superior LP3M. The sampling technique used was total sampling where 128 students were used as research samples. The results showed that either partially or together lifestyle, financial knowledge, and financial attitudes have a positive and significant effect on finance management behavior in Politeknik Unggul LP3M Students. However, the variable with the strongest significance value in influencing finance management behavior in Politeknik Unggul LP3M Students is financial attitude.

Abstract

The emergence of online food delivery platforms GoFood, GrabFood, and ShopeeFood helps MSMEs run their businesses. Polonia Sky Park Food Court Culinary UMKM is a combination of business actors in the culinary sector in the city of Medan. Polonia Sky Park Food Court Culinary MSMEs have collaborated with GoFood, GrabFood, and ShopeeFood. The research aims to find out how digital marketing strategies are implemented by the Polonia Sky Park Medan Culinary Food Court MSMEs to increase income and what impact the use of GoFood, GrabFood, and ShopeeFood has in increasing the Polonia Sky Park Medan Culinary Food Court MSMEs income after using the platform. The research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Types and sources of data use primary data collected directly from the main source and secondary data that previously existed and were used by researchers to complete the data. The data collection technique is in the form of interviews and documentation, which collect data about the research object and then analyze it to answer the problems at the Polonia Sky Park Medan Culinary Food Court MSMEs. Research shows that using an online food delivery platform can increase the income of Polonia Sky Park Medan Culinary Food Court MSMEs.

Abstract

Munculnya platform pesan antar makanan secara online GoFood, GrabFood dan ShopeeFood membantu pelaku UMKM  dalam menjalankan uasahanya. UMKM Kuliner Food Court Polonia Sky Park merupakan gabungan pelaku usaha di bidang kuliner di kota Medan. UMKM Kuliner Food Court Polonia Sky Park telah menjalin kerjasama dengan GoFood, GrabFood, dan ShopeeFood. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan strategi digital marketing oleh UMKM Kuliner Food Court Polonia Sky Park Medan dalam upaya meningkatkan pendapatan dan bagaimana dampak penggunaan GoFood, GrabFood dan ShopeeFood dalam peningkatan pendapatan UMKM Kuliner Food Court Polonia Sky Park Medan setelah memakai platform tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Jenis dan sumber data menggunakan data primer yang dikumpulkan langsung dari sumber utamanya dan data sekunder yang telah ada sebelumnya dan digunakan peneliti untuk melengkapi data. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan cara mengumpulkan informasi data tentang objek penelitian yang kemudian menganalisanya untuk menjawab permasalahan yang terjadi pada UMKM Kuliner Food Court Polonia Sky Park Medan. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menggunakan platform pesan antar makanan secara online mampu meningkatkan pendapatan UMKM Kuliner Food Court Polonia Sky Park Medan.

Abstract

This study supposed to analyze the influence of communication and organizational culture on job satisfaction. Population in this study employees at PT. Mitra Agung Swastika, with a total of 80 respondents. Data collection methods using interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using multiple regression. The results showed that communication has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, communication and organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, and the coefficient of determination of the variation of the dependent variable is communication and organizational culture has a contribution to job satisfaction at PT. The Grand counterpart of the Swastika in the category of strong.

Abstract

The development of financial technology in Indonesia has driven innovation in digital payment services, one of which is GoPaylater, developed by Gojek. This study aims to analyze the influence of integrated marketing communication (IMC) elements on the increase in the number of GoPaylater users. A quantitative approach was employed through a survey method involving 120 active users of the Gojek application in the city of Medan. The analysis results indicate that the elements of digital advertising, sales promotion, public relations, content marketing, and social media significantly influence the decision to use GoPaylater. The combination of digital advertising and sales promotion was found to be the most effective strategy in encouraging service adoption. These findings underscore the importance of implementing an integrated marketing communication strategy to enhance brand awareness, purchase intention, and consumer trust in paylater services. This study also identifies challenges in the implementation of IMC, such as the need to maintain message consistency across various communication channels. Strategic recommendations include increasing consumer education, optimizing promotional programs, strengthening public relations, maximizing the use of social media, and leveraging data-driven analysis to better understand user behavior. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for the development of digital marketing strategies in the financial services sector in Indonesia.

Abstract

Literasi keuangan merupakan kemampuan penting yang seharusnya mulai ditanamkan sejak dini. Namun, data menunjukkan bahwa tingkat literasi keuangan masyarakat Indonesia, terutama pada kelompok usia muda, masih rendah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi finansial dasar kepada siswa sekolah dasar melalui pendekatan yang menyenangkan dan partisipatif.  Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta (MIS) Al-Hidayah Cinta Karya Medan dengan melibatkan 32 siswa kelas 5. Tahapan kegiatan dimulai dengan melakukan survey lapangan dan perizinan kepada kepala sekolah pada tanggal 15 Mei 2025, melakukan kegiatan penyuluhan dan evaluasi kegiatan pada tanggal 19 Mei 2025. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan penyuluhan adalah ceramah yang meliputi pengenalan konsep dasar, permainan dan quiz, story telling, diskusi interaktif, serta metode evaluasi pre-test post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan 90,62% siswa mampu menjelaskan dan setuju terhadap konsep kebutuhan, keinginan, dan pentingnya menabung. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi kontribusi awal dalam membentuk generasi yang bijak secara finansial.

Abstract

PT Gajah Mada Plastik is a plastic manufacturing company that produces plastic bottles using a make-to-stock system, where finished goods are stored before being sold. However, the company has not implemented effective production planning, leading to a mismatch between production volume and market demand. In February 2024, production exceeded demand, resulting in overstock and increased storage costs. This study aims to conduct demand forecasting and aggregate planning to improve production scheduling in a timely, accurate, and cost-efficient manner. Forecasting is performed using one year of historical sales data to project future demand. Aggregate planning is then calculated using two methods: the level method and the chase strategy. The results indicate that the level method yields the lowest total cost, amounting to Rp 98,207,310. Therefore, the level method is selected for aggregate planning, aligning with the company’s current condition of excess inventory. This approach allows the company to fulfill customer demand effectively while minimizing costs and avoiding further overstock.
