Abstract

Research has been carried out with the title Designing Android-Based Electronic Teaching Materials to Improve Student Literacy. This study aims to determine: (1) the form of android-based electronic teaching materials on chemical equilibrium materials, (2) the level of validity of android-based electronic teaching materials on chemical equilibrium materials, and (3) student responses to the development of android-based electronic teaching materials on chemical equilibrium material. The development model used is the ADDIE model. The android-based electronic teaching material product that has been developed is in .apk format with a capacity of 74.6 megabytes named “Chemical equilibrium”. The results of the assessment of material and media experts on the level of validity of these electronic teaching materials have a very valid category with the percentage of overall validity being 96.19% and 90.20%, respectively. Meanwhile, the response of students to this electronic teaching material when the trial was carried out on average showed a very good response by getting the overall percentage was 97.78% in the small group trial and 96.33% in the large group trial. Thus, this android-based electronic teaching material on chemical equilibrium material is suitable for use in chemistry learnin activities as a source of independent learning and learning media. Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian dengan judul pengembangan video pembelajaran berbasis animaker pada materi kesetimbangan kimia di SMA/MA, bertujuan untuk mengetahui wujud pengembangan video pembelajaran yang dihasilkan berbasis Animaker pada materi kesetimbangan kimia di SMA/MA dan untuk mengetahui kelayakannya. Video pembelajaran berbasis animaker dibuat menggunakan Animaker.com, Microsoft PowerPoint dan aplikasi VN. Penelitian pengembangan ini dilakukan mengikuti alur model rancangan dari Sugiyono dengan sedikit penyesuaian. Prosedur untuk menghasilkan produk dibagi menjadi 8 tahap, yaitu: (1) potensi danmasalah, (2) pengumpulan data, (3) desain produk, (4) validasi produk, (5) revisi produk, (6) uji coba produk (skala kecil), (7) revisi produk, (8) uji coba produk (skala besar). Hasil penilaian ahli materi dan ahli media terhadap kelayakan video pembelajaran ini memiliki kategori sangat baik dengan presentase keidealan keseluruhan masing-masing 87,71% untuk ahli materi dan 92,35% untuk ahli media. Hasil penilaian uji kelompok kecil terhadap video pembelajaran berbasis animakerini sangat baik dengan persentase keidealan 100%, sedangkan uji kelompok besar terhadap video pembelajaran berbasis animaker ini sangat baik dengan persentase keidealan 100%. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian uji ahli dan uji lapangan yang terdiri atas uji kelompok kecil dan uji kelompok besar terhadap video pembelajaran berbasis animaker pada materi kesetimbangan kimia kelas XII untuk SMA/MA ini layak digunakan.

Abstract

The study of chemistry from a cultural standpoint is known as ethnochemistry. If it is used in the learning process, it could improve students' accomplishment and retention in chemistry. Because learners knowledge originates from their own culture. However, the application of culture-based chemistry learning has problems integrating culture with chemistry materials. This is also Relevant with Kakor Village, in South Lembor Sub-district, West Manggarai Regency. So a study was conducted with the aim of examining the chemistry that exists in local cultural products, one of which is songke woven fabric. The research design used is qualitative with an ethnographic approach. The instruments used are observation, interviews and documentation that have been verified. The triangulation methodology was used to confirm the data, and then examined qualitatively, which has three stages: reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results demonstrate that chemistry plays a role in the production of songke woven fabric, namely in the phases of the yarn dyeing process when it comes to reaction rates, acid-base balance, and chemical bonding.
