Abstract

The aim of this research  were  to analyze the revenue and the efficiency of black rice paddy farming in Karanganyar regency. The basic method of this research was  descriptive  analytic  method.  Location  of  the  research  was  determined  by purposive sampling  in  Karanganyar  regency  (census  method).  The  number  of black rice  paddy  farmers  in  Karanganyar  regency  was 23 people.  Data  used  in  the  study were  primary  data  as  the  main  data  and  secondary  data  as  supporting  data.  Data collected by observation, interview and record keeping. The results showed that black rice  paddy  farming  in  Karanganyar  regency  obtain  the  average  revenue  of  IDR 8,974,565.22.  Black  rice  paddy  farming  in  Karanganyar  regency  were  categorized efficient farming based on the average value of R/C Ratio were 2.84.

Abstract

The development of non-agricultural sector are increasingly in need of land. The land needs met by conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural land. This research was aimed to examine the rate of the agriculture land (wet land) conversion and factors that determine the conversion in Sleman Regency. The basic method which used  was  descriptive  analytic.  Determination  of  the  research  location  was  using purposive method in Sleman regency. Method to analyze the data was double linear regression  (Ordinary  Least  Square).  The  data  which  used  in  this  research  was secondary  data  in  1984-2013  from  BPS,  BPN,  Bappeda,  and  DPUP  of  sleman regency.The result of this research shows that the conversion of wet land in Sleman regency happened in 1984-2013. Since 30 years, wet land area which convert to nonagricultural  area  was  4.496  Ha  or  150  Ha.  Wet  land  area  had  decreased  with  the growth  rate  0,608%  per  year.  Based  on  the  double  linear  regression  analysis (Ordinary Least Square) with 95% of trust level, it could be known the significance relation  between  wet land area  and the number  of  population, industry,  residential, road length, PDRB, and government policy. Individually, the area of agricultural land in sleman regency was influenced by the number of population, industry, residential, and PDRB.

Abstract

Rice Milling Agroindustry was a business engaged in time after rice harvest that would process dry milled rice (GKG) into rice. This study aims to obtained cost, income, income and break even point (BEP) in unit (Kg) and price (Rp) of small agroindustry rice mill in Sragen regency. The basic method of research used analytical descriptive method with survey technique. Determination of location of sample sub- district was done by purposive, that was Kedawung, Masaran and Tanon Subdistrict. Respondents were taken with purposive sampling of 30 people. The types and sources of data used from the primary and secondary data. Technical data was done by interview, observation and documentation. The results showed the average amount of operating revenues of IDR 3,440,880,724/year and IDR 478,41,.307/year. The fficiency of the business were 1.16 and can be said to be efficient because the R/C ratio was more than one. Break even point (BEP) of Small rice milling agroindustry business on the basis of price (IDR) has their breakeven business position broken down by the main output of brown rice from IDR 508,027,645, white rice IDR 30,825,245, gloss rice at IDR 181,746,850. BEP on the basis of unit with main product of white rice was equal to66,610 Kg, 36,588 kg of gloss of rice, brown rice of 109.963 Kg.

Abstract

Central Java is one of the producers of the national rice with1.427.101Ha harvested area and production amounted to 8.021.511 ton milled rice. Rice is the major crop in Central Java as well as the principal livelihoods. Despite the shift of labor from agriculture to other sectors, total employment in Central Java who works in the agricultural sector reached more than 37%.

Abstract

The research has purpose, such as to examine the factors influencing the demand of broiler chicken’s meat in Kudus Regency and to analyze the demand forecase of broiler chicken’s meat in Kudus Regency. The sampling of research location is done purposively. The type of data used are secondary data from January 2016 until December 2017. The method of analysis used to estimate the demand function is linier regression method with classical assumptions. The result of regression analysis showed that independent variables have a significant influence on the dependent variable with R2 adjusted value of 0,953. Partially, broiler chicken’s meat cost, chicken’s eggs cost, milkfish cost, cooking oil cost, and income per capita, each influencing the demand of broiler chicken’s meat in Kudus Regency. Elasticity coefficient of broiler chicken’s meat cost (-0,482), is called inelastic. Broiler chicken’s meat is substitute with milkfish (0,288). Broiler chicken’s meat is complementary with chicken’s eggs (-0,341) and cooking oil (-0,425). Broiler chicken’s meat is a staple goods with a positive elasticity value (0,684). Researchers suggest to broiler breeders to increase their production capacity to meet the needs of broiler chicken in Kudus Regency.
