The method used is a combination method is a modification of the method line by line method terraced and placed in a purposive sampling. Results of the analysis of the date shows that the stands are found as many as 34 types for all levels of growth. Overall dominance index value (C) at all locations of research including low, because it has not yet reached the dominance of the highest index value (C = 1). The results of data analysis index values diversity in all kinds of Tembawang on the level low (< H 1). At the level of the stake and the pillar, Tembawang I have a kind of low diversity values and on Tembawang II to Tembawang IV diversity of its kind is abundant (1 ? H ? 3). At the level of the tree, Tembawang I and Tembawang IV has a value type of diversity is low (< 1 H), whereas in Tembawang II and Tembawang III has a value of the type being abundant (1 ? H ? 3). Abstract

Puri (Mitragyna speciosa Korth) is one of the plant that has a high economic value, especially in Kapuas Hulu which has been used extensively by the community by taking the leaf of the plant that grows naturally in the forest. This research aims to determine the dose of Rootone F on the growth of stem cuttings of puri. This research was conducted for 2 month. The method used was Completely Random Design, which consisted of 4 treatments with 8 repetitions. Each treatment wash given with concentration Rootone F of 0 ppm, 50 ppm, 100 ppm and 150 ppm. The variables measured were percentage of growing, number of shoots and number of roots. The results showed that adding Rootone F on stem cuttings of puri at 100 ppm had a significant effect on the growth parameter of the number of shoots and a very significant effect on the parameter of the number of roots. The growth percentage of the stem cuttings of puri was 72%.  Keywords: Interaction, Mitragyna speciosa Korh, Rootone F

Abstract

Peatland is a weatland ecosystem formed by the accumulation of organic matter on the forest floor from the debris of the vegetation above it for a long time. This process occurs because of the slow rate of decomposition compared to the rate of deposition of organic matter on the wet/inundated forest floor. This study aims to determine the vegetation species diversity found in the peat swamp forest of the area of Gunung Ambawang protected forest in Kubu Sub-District of Kubu Raya Regency. The method used in this study is a plot method with the initial determination of the plot carried out through purposive sampling then the other plots were carried out by systematic sampling. Observation of forest compositionwas made in 5 (five) observation plots, with a length of 200 m, width of each plot being 20 m and distance between plots 100 m. The research found 39 species of vegetation dominated by medang species (Litsea sp) of the Lauraceae family, which is the most common vegetation found in the peat swamp forest area in the protected forest og Gunung Ambawang. Keywords: peat swamp forest, protection forest, species diversity
