Abstract

The study bakso mas pur warung business is a well-known culinary business in bekasi regency, which is located at jl. Pisangan, kebon cassava, rt.01/rw.001 satriajaya village, tambun utara district, bekasi regency, this study aims to identify internal factors (strengths and weaknesses), and external factors (opportunities and threats) as well as to determine the marketing strategy. The method used in this study is a case study with a descriptive approach and data analysis consisting of an ife matrix, an efe matrix, an ie matrix and a swot matrix. The results of this research on the warung bakso mas pur business are in cell i position. The position of using the strategy that should be applied by the warung bakso mas pur business is grow and build or a strategy of growing and building. This strategy is in line with the so strategy of creating product variations at competitive prices, the wo strategy of optimizing the internet as a promotional medium and online marketing to expand marketing reach, and the wt strategy of maintaining a good name and maintaining prices to face competition well.

Abstract

The production process in baking industry should be carefully managed, by identifying and handling the major of risks that could lead to failures of final products. This study was conducted to identify the major of risks on production process in The Orchard Bakery, located in Purwakarta Regency, West Java. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and pareto diagram were used to examine the major sources of risk that would impact on the quality of bread produced. Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is a method that systematically done to identify potential problems, or failures and their resulting effects on production process. In this method, Risk Priority Numbers (RPN) were measured and calculated based on past experiences and judgements to rate each potential problems, by rating 3 (three) aspects on the risks: severity, occurrence, and detection. The results of this study find 6 (six) sources of risk with high RPN values, as a pareto chart indicates that their cumulative impacts totalled 80%, namely: packaging (19%), dough making (16%), baking (16%), proofing (13%), handling quality of final products (9%), and selection of main and supporting ingredients (7%).

Abstract

Floriculture is a type of commodity from horticulture such as cut flower ornamental plants, potted plants and garden decoration plants. Linsy Nursery is one of the ornamental plant businesses in Bekasi City which focuses on the ornamental plant business. This study aims to (1) determine and analyze the effect of the marketing mix partially on purchasing decisions for leaf ornamental plants at Linsy Nursery, and (2) determine and analyze the effect of the marketing mix simultaneously on purchasing decisions for leaf ornamental plants at Linsy Nursery. The method used in this research is a survey method and then will be analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis with multiple regression analysis tools. The sampling technique used in this study is using non probability sampling technique with convenience sampling method as many as 60 respondents. The results of this study indicate that the product has a significant effect on purchasing decisions for leaf ornamental plants, the price has a significant effect on purchasing decisions for leaf ornamental plants, the place has no significant effect on purchasing decisions for leaf ornamental plants.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) identify internal factors, which include strengths and weaknesses in the marketing aspects run by CV Berkah Bersama Sejahtera company; (2) Identify external factors, which include threats and opportunities in the marketing aspect carried out by the CV Berkah Bersama Sejahtera company; and (3) Formulating a relevant and effective marketing strategy for CV Berkah Bersama Sejahtera. The method used in this research is a case or field research method. Information and data related to the internal and external environment evaluation are processed using SWOT analysis to determine which strategy is chosen, and then QSPM analysis is used. The results show the mapping of IFE and EFE matrices: directing alternative strategies in the growth and development section. Alternative strategies in the growing section include integration strategies (backwards, forward, and horizontal), and alternative strategies in the building section are intensive strategies are (a) conducting managerial development and independent business development planning efforts to develop feeder cattle cultivation and approaches to local communities in supporting business sustainability and development; (b) utilising the facilitation of government and local government policies, to develop good farming practices (GFP) and capital for business development. The other three strategies based on STAS in QSPM are part of the proposed marketing mix strategy.
