Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat mendorong institusi pendidikan untuk mengadopsi sistem informasi guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pelayanan administrasi. STMIK Widya Cipta sebagai institusi pendidikan tinggi yang berorientasi pada teknologi informasi membutuhkan sistem informasi peminjaman ruangan dan peralatan yang terintegrasi untuk menghindari kesalahan pencatatan serta mempercepat proses peminjaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem informasi peminjaman ruangan dan peralatan berbasis website dengan menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD). Metode RAD dipilih karena mampu menghasilkan sistem dalam waktu yang relatif singkat dengan tetap memperhatikan kebutuhan pengguna. Berbeda dari sistem serupa sebelumnya yang umumnya hanya mendukung peran tunggal dan fitur dasar, sistem ini dirancang dengan dukungan multi-role (admin, mahasiswa, dan dosen), manajemen data dinamis, serta pelaporan transaksi secara real-time. Pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan metode blackbox untuk mengevaluasi fungsionalitas, serta beta testing untuk mengukur tingkat kelayakan sistem dari sudut pandang pengguna. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem berjalan dengan baik dan memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 83% dalam beta testing, yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan administrasi dan mendukung kegiatan akademik secara efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

This study applies the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) algorithm to classify customer sentiments from online reviews about Ngeboel Vapestore, a local MSME in the vape industry. A total of 175 reviews from Google Review and Instagram were processed using standard NLP techniques and TF-IDF for feature extraction. The best K-NN model (k=3) achieved 85.4% accuracy. Although Logistic Regression achieved higher accuracy (92.6%), it failed to detect negative sentiment. The findings highlight the potential and limitations of K-NN for sentiment analysis in underexplored MSME contexts like vape retail. The study recommends further model improvements and broader MSME applications.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mendorong instansi pemerintah untuk mengadopsi sistem informasi guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas pelayanan publik. Badan Kepegawaian Daerah (BKD) Provinsi Kalimantan Timur sebagai lembaga yang menangani administrasi kepegawaian ASN telah mengimplementasikan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Aparatur Sipil Negara (SIM ASN) untuk mendukung kegiatan operasional dan pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Namun, efektivitas penerapan sistem ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh tingkat penerimaan pengguna terhadap teknologi yang digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penerimaan dan penggunaan SIM ASN menggunakan pendekatan Technology Acceptance model (TAM). Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi dua variabel utama dalam TAM, yaitu perceived usefulness (persepsi kegunaan) dan perceived ease of use (persepsi kemanfaatan penggunaan), serta dampaknya terhadap sikap dan niat pengguna dalam menggunakan SIM ASN. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada pegawai di BKD Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penerimaan aplikasi, yang secara langsung mendukung efektivitas pengelolaan data ASN. Kesimpulan menegaskan bahwa peningkatan kegunaan dan kemudahan penggunaan perlu menjadi prioritas untuk menunjang kinerja pengelolaan SIM ASN BKD Provinsi Kalimantan Timur.

Abstract

In an increasingly competitive global market, accurately identifying untapped market potential in small to medium-sized regions, often overlooked by traditional single-indicator analyses, presents a significant challenge for strategic decision-making. This study addresses this by proposing a hybrid analytical framework integrating K-Means Clustering with Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) methods, utilizing population size and land area as core indicators. The primary objective is to develop a robust market potential analysis model capable of systematically classifying regions and providing actionable insights for resource optimization and market expansion. The methodology involves determining the optimal number of clusters using the elbow method (k=3, with a silhouette score of 0.8862), followed by K-Means clustering to segment Asian countries into distinct groups. Subsequently, three MCDM methods SAW, WP, and WASPAS are applied to rank countries within the most relevant cluster (low population and area) under various weighting scenarios. The results consistently demonstrate Turkey's top ranking across all MCDM methods, highlighting its robust market potential regardless of weight variations. Crucially, a very strong agreement in rankings between the MCDM methods was observed, evidenced by Spearman's correlation coefficients consistently above 0.98, with the highest correlation between SAW and WASPAS (0.998379 for [0.3, 0.7] weights). This high correlation confirms the reliability and consistency of the model, concluding that SAW and WASPAS are highly suitable for this analysis, and identifying Turkey as the leading country in market potential among 50 Asian nations based on the criteria studied.

Abstract

Dalam proses pengajuan pembiayaan kredit motor dan mobil bekas, kelengkapan surat-surat dalam hal ini STNK menjadi salah satu syarat yang harus dipenuhi. Jika STNK sudah tidak berlaku maka PT Indeks Media Finance melakukan pengurusan melalui biro jasa. Penelitian ini berfokus pada membangun sebuah aplikasi pendataan keluar masuk STNK. Metode Pengembangan sistem yang digunakan penelitian yaitu metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) atau yang lebih dikenal siklus hidup pengembangan sistem mulai dari tahapan analisis, desain sampai implementasi dan pengujian. Harapan sistem yang dibangun tidak hanya dapat mendata keluar-masuk STNK tetapi juga dalam hal pembuatan laporan untuk pimpinan.

Abstract

Abstrak – Absensi merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam manajemen pendidikan, namun sistem absensi manual yang masih banyak digunakan saat ini rentan terhadap kecurangan dan kesalahan pencatatan. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem absensi mahasiswa berbasis biometrik menggunakan sensor sidik jari yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT). Sistem dibangun dengan memanfaatkan mikrokontroler ESP32 sebagai pusat kendali dan Google Sheets sebagai media penyimpanan data secara daring. Proses absensi dilakukan melalui verifikasi sidik jari dan validasi waktu terhadap jadwal perkuliahan. Jika sesuai, data kehadiran dikirim secara otomatis ke spreadsheet melalui API. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem mampu mendeteksi kehadiran dengan akurasi tinggi, menolak absensi di luar jadwal atau oleh mahasiswa yang tidak terdaftar, serta memberikan kemudahan dalam pengelolaan data. Dengan demikian, sistem ini memberikan solusi efektif, efisien, dan aman dalam meningkatkan kualitas administrasi akademik.Kata kunci: Absensi Mahasiswa; Fingerprint; Internet of things (IoT; ESP32; Google Sheets. Abstract – Attendance is a crucial aspect of academic management; however, manual attendance systems commonly used today are prone to fraud and recording errors. This study develops a student attendance system based on biometric technology using a fingerprint sensor integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT). The system utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller as the control center and Google Sheets as a cloud-based data storage platform. The attendance process involves fingerprint verification and time validation against the lecture schedule. If the criteria are met, attendance data is automatically sent to the spreadsheet via API. Test results show that the system can accurately detect attendance, reject entries outside the schedule or by unregistered students, and provide convenience in data management. Thus, this system offers an effective, efficient, and secure solution for improving the quality of academic administration.Keywords: Student Attendance; Fingerprint; Internet of things (IoT); ESP32; Google Sheets.

Abstract

Abstrak - PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur merupakan perusahaan manufaktur pupuk terbesar di Kalimantan Timur dan berada di bawah naungan PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero). Salah satu unit penting dalam struktur PKT adalah Jasa Pelayanan Pabrik (JPP), yang memiliki tanggung jawab utama dalam memastikan seluruh pabrik beroperasi secara optimal tanpa gangguan. JPP memberikan berbagai layanan seperti pemeliharaan rutin, pembuatan suku cadang, serta perawatan fasilitas pabrik lainnya. Pemilihan vendor merupakan salah satu tahap krusial dalam proses pengadaan barang dan jasa, yang secara langsung mempengaruhi kualitas dan efisiensi operasional perusahaan. Namun, dalam praktiknya, proses seleksi vendor sering kali masih dilakukan secara manual, yang rentan terhadap subjektivitas, kurang efisien, dan tidak transparan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah sistem berbasis web yang mampu mendukung proses pemilihan vendor secara lebih objektif, cepat, dan terstruktur dengan menerapkan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). AHP digunakan sebagai pendekatan utama dalam pengambilan keputusan multi-kriteria, dengan mempertimbangkan berbagai aspek seperti harga, waktu pelaksanaan, pengalaman, kualitas teknis proposal, serta kapabilitas sumber daya manusia dan peralatan. Hasil dari pengujian sistem menunjukkan bahwa integrasi AHP dalam sistem berbasis web mampu mempercepat proses seleksi, meminimalisasi kesalahan manusia, dan meningkatkan akurasi dalam pengambilan keputusan. Dengan adanya sistem ini, perusahaan dapat melaksanakan proses tender secara lebih efisien dan transparan, sehingga menghasilkan keputusan yang lebih optimal dalam pemilihan vendor terbaik.Kata kunci: Metode AHP; Tender; Perusahaan; Vendor. Abstract - PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (PKT) is the largest fertilizer manufacturing company in East Kalimantan and operates under the supervision of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero). One of the key units within PKT's organizational structure is the Plant Services Division (Jasa Pelayanan Pabrik or JPP), which is primarily responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted and optimal operation of all plant facilities. JPP provides a range of essential services, including routine maintenance, the production of spare parts, and the upkeep of factory equipment. Vendor selection is a critical stage in the procurement process, as it directly impacts the quality and operational efficiency of the company. However, in practice, the selection process is often still carried out manually, making it vulnerable to subjectivity, inefficiency, and lack of transparency. This study aims to develop a web-based system designed to support the vendor selection process in a more objective, efficient, and structured manner by applying the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. AHP serves as the primary decision-making approach in this system, allowing for multi-criteria evaluation based on several key aspects such as price, implementation time, experience, technical proposal quality, and the capability of human resources and equipment. The results of system testing indicate that integrating AHP into a web-based platform significantly accelerates the selection process, minimizes human error, and enhances decision-making accuracy. With the implementation of this system, the company can conduct the tendering process more transparently and efficiently, leading to more optimal outcomes in selecting the best vendor.Keywords: AHP Method; Tender; Company; Vendor.

Abstract

Incoming mail management is an important part of higher education administration because it is related to document storage, classification, and retrieval in a fast and accurate manner. However, the incoming mail archiving process at the General Administration and Finance Bureau (BAUK) of STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma is still carried out manually, making document grouping inefficient, slowing down archive retrieval, and potentially causing inconsistencies in determining mail categories. This study aims to implement the Naïve Bayes algorithm in a web-based incoming mail archiving system to support automatic mail classification. The system was developed using Laravel and Livewire as the main application, and Flask as the classification service. The dataset consisted of 79 incoming mail documents divided into four categories: requests, invitations, notifications, and reports. The preprocessing stage included case folding, text cleaning, tokenizing, stopword removal, and stemming. The results show that the system is able to automatically classify incoming mail and present detailed classification processes through training reports and classification results. Based on testing on 16 incoming mail documents, the model achieved an accuracy of 75.00%, an average precision of 63.89%, and an average recall of 72.22%. These results indicate that the Naïve Bayes algorithm is sufficiently effective in supporting a more structured and efficient incoming mail archiving process.

Abstract

This study aims to examine an Indonesian EFL teacher's experiences and coping strategies while enrolled in the CELTA program, with an emphasis on how the teacher handled cultural shock. The study uses a case study methodology, and semi-structured interviews are used to collect data. The findings reveal that the teacher went through several stages of cultural shock, including the honeymoon stage, the stage of negotiations, and the stage of adjustment. The teacher used a variety of coping strategies, including asking for help from peers, honing her language abilities, and researching the host culture. This study highlights the value of cultural sensitivity and awareness in EFL teacher preparation programs and provides helpful advice for other EFL instructors who may experience cultural shock while teaching abroad.

Abstract

The computer laboratory is one of the important facilities in supporting practical activities and technology-based learning at STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma. This study aims to analyze the level of student satisfaction with the computer laboratory facilities and to determine improvement priorities that need to be addressed. The method used in this study is Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), which measures the relationship between the level of importance and the performance level of each laboratory service attribute. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 129 students who use the laboratory. The results show that, in general, students are satisfied with the laboratory facilities, especially in terms of room comfort, practicum module suitability, and software availability. The overall satisfaction level reached 93%, indicating that most facilities have met student expectations. However, several attributes require greater attention, such as internet connection speed, hardware condition, and peripheral functionality including monitors, keyboards, and mice. Based on the IPA Cartesian diagram analysis, these attributes are located in the main priority quadrant for improvement because they are considered highly important but their performance is still below expectations. Meanwhile, attributes related to assistant responsiveness and module clarity were included in the maintain performance quadrant. The findings of this study are expected to provide useful input for laboratory management in improving service quality and optimizing facilities to better support student learning activities.
