Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dinamika supervisi akademik dalam konteks peningkatan kompetensi guru, melalui studi literatur yang mendalam. Menggunakan metode analisis SWOT, penelitian ini mengevaluasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman dalam implementasi supervisi akademik berdasarkan telaah terhadap lima belas artikel nasional dan internasional. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik memiliki peran kritikal dalam memfasilitasi pengembangan profesional guru, dengan memberikan umpan balik konstruktif dan mendorong refleksi diri. Kekuatan utama teridentifikasi pada kemampuan supervisi untuk meningkatkan praktik pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Namun, resistensi dari guru terhadap proses supervisi dan keterbatasan sumber daya menjadi kelemahan yang perlu diatasi. Peluang untuk memperkuat proses supervisi termasuk adopsi teknologi baru dan integrasi praktik supervisi dengan program pengembangan profesional lainnya. Ancaman terhadap efektivitas supervisi meliputi perubahan kebijakan pendidikan dan dinamika internal lembaga. Penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya strategi yang holistik dan adaptif dalam supervisi akademik untuk mengoptimalkan kontribusinya terhadap peningkatan kompetensi guru, sekaligus mengatasi tantangan yang ada.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze student learning motivation during and after the Covid-19 pandemic, particularly during the transition from hybrid to face-to-face learning. This quantitative research employs a simple descriptive design and involves a population of tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Sentani, totaling 266 students. A sample of 156 students was determined through simple random sampling techniques. Data were collected using an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms and measured with a five-point likert scale. Data processing involved categorizing student learning motivation scores as high, medium, and low, based on predetermined percentages. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics to examine relationships between variables. The results indicate that student motivation significantly declined during the hybrid learning period, marked by restricted physical interaction and technological limitations. However, with the transition back to face-to-face learning, there was a significant increase in student motivation, driven by improved social interaction and direct support from educators. This research confirms that social interaction and emotional support play crucial roles in enhancing learning motivation. These findings underscore the importance of considering humanistic aspects in education, especially in designing post-pandemic learning strategies aimed at improving the academic success and emotional well-being of students.

Abstract

In today's digital era, social media has become an important communication tool for educational institutions to build and strengthen the school's image. The purpose of this service is to help one of the public high schools in Jayapura City optimise the use of social media for their branding. The school was newly inaugurated in 2024 as a result of the merger of two schools. The method used in this assistance is the classical method, where the service team consisting of students of the Education Management Study Programme assists the school's social media team, with the output target being an active and attractive school social media. The results of the service showed an increase in social media management skills and optimisation of school branding and communication. In addition, the community's response to the existence of school social media is very positive, where in a short period of time the number of followers, viewers and likes on school social media has increased.

Abstract

Building the education sector is a dynamic process in line with societal changes and developments in science and technology, where openness has become a characteristic of democratic life, impacting the rapid obsolescence of government policies and educational practices. In its implementation, it is undeniable that there are still many issues in the education sector in the process of improving quality and optimizing educational equity, as this determines the quality of human resources. Various efforts have been made, one of which is through the zoning system policy in new student admissions that has been implemented since 2017. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the zoning system policy at SMA Negeri 1 Jayapura. The zoning system regulates the allocation of students to schools based on certain geographical zones. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with semi-structured interview data collection techniques, employing the discrepancy evaluation model (DEM). The results of this study provide a deeper insight into how the zoning policy is implemented at SMA Negeri 1 Jayapura and can suggest relevant improvements based on the gaps found to enhance the effectiveness of the policy and promote improvements in the education system in the city of Jayapura.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the contribution of the principal in implementing the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum at SMK Negeri 2 Manajemen dan Bisnis Jayapura, through an in-depth exploration of the principal's leadership role in creating an innovative and collaborative learning environment, relevant to the needs of the Society 5.0 era. The research locus is SMK Negeri 2 Manajemen dan Bisnis Jayapura. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The research participants included the principal, the vice principal of curriculum, and several teachers actively involved in implementing the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum.The research results show that the principal's leadership significantly contributes to the successful implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. The principal successfully created a learning environment that supports innovation and creativity by providing continuous training for teachers, encouraging collaboration among teachers, and involving parents and the community in school activities. The principal also managed to overcome resistance to change and resource limitations through effective and communicative leadership strategies. In conclusion, the principal's contribution to implementing the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum at SMK Negeri 2 Manajemen dan Bisnis Jayapura is highly significant. Through visionary and inclusive leadership, the principal has succeeded in improving the quality of education and preparing students to face challenges in the era of globalization and contribute positively to society.

Abstract

This study examines the practice of academic supervision, its effectiveness in enhancing learning quality, and its impact on educational excellence in secondary schools in Kota Jayapura. Using a mixed-method approach with a sequential explanatory strategy, the research collected data from 138 respondents through surveys and in-depth interviews. Results show that academic supervision practices vary between schools, with systematic and collaborative approaches yielding better outcomes. The overall effectiveness is high (28.32 out of 30), positively impacting teachers’ and students’ learning quality, student achievement, and psychological-emotional well-being, though implementation challenges persist. The research introduces an integrated framework combining adaptive and collaborative supervision approaches tailored to Kota Jayapura’s local context. This study enhances understanding of supervision implementation in regions with significant socio-cultural diversity and provides recommendations for improving supervision effectiveness in diverse educational settings.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan sebagai respons terhadap pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi yang berdampak pada dunia kerja, khususnya di bidang administrasi perkantoran. Keterampilan dalam pengarsipan digital menjadi kompetensi penting bagi siswa SMK jurusan Administrasi Perkantoran di Kota Jayapura agar lebih siap menghadapi tuntutan dunia kerja berbasis digital. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam mengelola dokumen digital dan menganalisis implikasinya terhadap pendidikan vokasi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama tiga hari, melibatkan 61 siswa dari tiga kelas, dengan metode berupa workshop interaktif yang mencakup pembuatan dokumen resmi menggunakan Microsoft Word dan pengorganisasian file digital melalui Google Drive. Materi disampaikan melalui presentasi dan praktik langsung di laboratorium komputer. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif, dengan membandingkan hasil post-test praktik siswa di akhir sesi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan siswa setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Sebagian besar peserta (73,7%) mencapai nilai ≥70 pada post-test, meningkat tajam dibandingkan hasil pre-test. Peningkatan tampak pada kemampuan menyusun dokumen formal, menata folder secara sistematis, serta menggunakan Google Drive untuk menyimpan dan membagikan file. Pelatihan berbasis praktik terbukti efektif dalam membangun pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa terhadap pengarsipan digital, serta menunjukkan pentingnya integrasi keterampilan digital dalam kurikulum pendidikan vokasi untuk menjawab tantangan dunia kerja modern.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic resulted in the emergence of accelerated learning that was previously carried out attractively to be courageous in order to suppress the increase in cases of the Covid-19 virus. This study describes what learning problems are faced by students and also lecturers in the Department of Education, Cenderawasih University. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with indicators including, encouraging learning strategies and clarity, quality of learning materials, student involvement and activeness in the brave class (student engagement) and achievement of course learning achievements (CPMK) as a form of evaluating brave learning during the Covid pandemic -19. The results showed that from a student's point of view, learning courage during the Covid-19 pandemic at JIP Cenderawasih University was still not effective and efficient. Some of the reasons behind this are that there are still many students who do not have gadgets as learning media and it is difficult for students to get internet access.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis evolusi paradigma supervisi pendidikan supportif melalui bibliometric clustering analysis periode 2020-2025 dan mengidentifikasi model-model supervisi efektif yang mengintegrasikan peningkatan performa guru dengan dukungan kesejahteraan mental. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan systematic literature review (SLR) sesuai guideline PRISMA 2020 dengan pencarian komprehensif melalui database Scopus. Analisis clustering menggunakan VOSviewer diterapkan terhadap 90 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi untuk mengidentifikasi pola evolusi dan model integrasi supervisi. Analisis clustering mengidentifikasi empat cluster utama: Clinical and Supportive Supervision (13 artikel), Academic and Performance Supervision (35 artikel), Kepemimpinan dan Peran Kepala Sekolah (16 artikel), dan Pendekatan Integratif dan Holistik (6 artikel). Temuan mengungkap paradoks antara dominasi numerik penelitian berorientasi kinerja dengan relevansi konseptual tertinggi pada pendekatan integratif-holistik, mengindikasikan periode transisi paradigmatik menuju konvergensi model supervisi yang lebih humanis. Penelitian mengembangkan "Kerangka Evolusi Supervisi Terintegrasi" dengan empat tahap progesi dan mengidentifikasi empat model supervisi integratif. Penelitian berkontribusi pada pemetaan komprehensif evolusi supervisi menggunakan teknik bibliometrik lanjutan, pengembangan model integrasi berbasis bukti, dan penetapan fondasi teoretis supervisi pendidikan supportif yang dapat menginformasikan pengembangan strategi implementasi praktis di institusi pendidikan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di era digital, mengevaluasi efektivitas program transformasi literasi berbasis teknologi digital, mengkaji implementasi inovasi "Si Pesawat Literasi (SiPeLi)", dan merumuskan model kepemimpinan digital untuk sekolah berbasis militer. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus tunggal di SD Angkasa Lanud Silas Papare. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles & Huberman. Temuan menunjukkan kepala sekolah menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan instruksional-partisipatif yang disesuaikan dengan tingkat kesiapan guru. Program transformasi literasi melalui media sosial dan inovasi SiPeLi meningkatkan partisipasi dan antusiasme siswa terhadap literasi. Penelitian menghasilkan model kepemimpinan digital terintegrasi dengan empat dimensi: Digital Leadership Competency, Collaborative Decision Making, Instructional Excellence, dan Innovation Culture. Model kepemimpinan digital terintegrasi terbukti efektif dalam mentransformasi budaya literasi di sekolah berbasis militer, dengan prestasi tingkat kabupaten dan nasional sebagai indikator keberhasilan.
