Abstract

This service aims to enhance teachers' knowledge and skills in designing innovative learning using the Canva platform as an engaging teaching tool. The method employed in conducting this service was training based on participatory approaches and individual communication. The partners in this service were 35 teachers from SMP Negeri 1 Depapre, Jayapura Regency. The results of this service showed that the teachers possessed knowledge and skills in operating the Canva application. It was evidenced by the outcomes of activities such as designing learning media such as student ID cards or creating math problems using Canva. Throughout the training, there was a high level of enthusiasm from the school staff in learning the Canva platform for teaching purposes relevant to their subject areas. It is hoped that in the future, teachers will continue to develop their abilities in applying Canva to aid in the preparation of teaching materials.

Abstract

SD Negeri Inpres Kampung Tiba-Tiba, Abepura merupakan salah satu sekolah SD yang berlokasi di Kota Jayapura yang belum secara maksimal mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam proses pembelajaran melalui pemanfaatan platform Powtoon ke dalam pembuatan media ajar di pembelajaran abad 21. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi para guru-guru sekolah dasar dalam mengembangkan pengetahuan dan kompetensi di bidang digital menggunakan platform Powtoon. Metode pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dengan tiga cara yakni ceramah, drill practice dan evaluasi pelatihan. Adapun subjek dari pelatihan ini adalah guru-guru sekolah dasar. Kegiatan ceramah dilakukan dengan memaparkan materi singkat Powtoon melalui PPT. Selanjutnya, tim pengabdi melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan media belajar berbasis platform Powtoon. Terakhir, dilakukannya evaluasi guna mengukur pemahaman guru dari kegiatan pelatihan. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah peserta merasakan kebermanfaatan dalam menggunakan Powtoon sebagai salah satu media alternatif membuat bahan ajar. Selain itu, guru merasa terbantu dan terfasilitasi dalam menggunakan Powtoon untuk meningkatkan daya tarik dan keterlibatan siswa, serta membantu memvisualisasikan konsep pembelajaran yang kompleks dengan cara yang mudah dipahami. Dalam jangka panjang, pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat mendorong guru-guru sekolah dasar untuk mengadopsi teknologi pembelajaran yang inovatif dan kreatif dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar sehari-hari

Abstract

This study explores the latest trends and insights on digital literacy in education through bibliometric analysis. Using data from the Scopus database and VOSviewer software, the study analyzed 3,386 publications on digital literacy in educational contexts from 2015 to 2024. Qualitative content analysis methods were used to code and interpret text data. Findings show a significant growth in the number of publications, with the highest peak in 2023. The United States led the research contributions, followed by Spain, the United Kingdom, and Indonesia. The dominant field of study was social sciences, followed by computer science and engineering. Lead authors include Makhachashvili, R., with affiliations at Universidad Salamanca and Monash University. Significant trends identified include an increased focus on digital health, information accuracy, and online learning in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The study emphasized the importance of digital literacy as a critical skill in a digital society, and identified gaps in the existing literature. This encourages further research to explore the impact of digital literacy on student learning outcomes and education policy. These findings can be a guide for developing a more relevant curriculum by integrating local cultural and technological elements, as well as improving the quality of education.

Abstract

AbstrakPerkembangan dunia Pendidikan telah memasuki zaman teknologi, sehingga sebagai seorang guru harus bisa menghadapi tantangan dalam tuntutan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anak dengan metode pembelajara yang inovatif, kreatif, dan modern berbasis teknologi. Permasalahan utama yang diidentifikasi adalah (1) kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilann dalam mencari bahan ajar yang efektif; (2) Kesulitan dalam membuat materii ajar yang kreatif; dan (3) minimnya keterampilan dalam membagikan materi pembelajaran secara online. Hal ini menghambat terciptanya pembelajaran yang relevan dengan tuntutan era digital. Tujuan Kegiatan untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran PJOK dengan meningkatkan kapasitas guru dalam menemukan, menciptakan, dan mendistribusikan materi ajar digital yang kreatif dan inovatif. Mitra Sasaran yaitu MGMP PJOK SMP Kabupaten Jayapura sebanyak 23 orang. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri atas 6 tahap yaitu (1) Sosialisasi atau FGD untuk mendalami masalah; (2) Pemaparan Materi untuk membangun fondasi teori; (3) Pelatihan penggunaan tools digital; (4) Praktik langsung membuat media ajar; (5) pendampingan intensif; dan (6) Evaluasi untuk mengukur capaian. Hasil Kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa seluruh peserta mengikuti semua tahapan dengan tingkat partisipasi 100 %. Secara angket pretetst dan posttest bahwa Kemampuan guru meningkat signifikan, baik dalam teori (91%) maupun praktik (96%) membuat dan membagikan materi digital. Kata kunci: pembelajaran; berbasis teknologi; generasi emas AbstractThe development of the world of education has entered the technological era. Therefore, as a teacher, one must be able to face the challenge of meeting the demands to improve children's knowledge and skills through innovative, creative, and modern technology-based learning methods. The main identified problems are: (1) a lack of knowledge and skills in finding effective teaching materials; (2) difficulties in creating creative teaching materials; and (3) limited skills in distributing learning materials online. This hinders the creation of learning relevant to the demands of the digital era. The activity's objective is to optimize the use of technology in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning by enhancing teachers' capacity to discover, create, and distribute creative and innovative digital teaching materials. The target partners are 23 members of the PJOK Subject Teachers' Forum (MGMP) for Junior High Schools in Jayapura Regency. The implementation method consists of 6 stages: (1) Socialization or FGD to delve into the problems; (2) Material Presentation to build a theoretical foundation; (3) Training on using digital tools; (4) Hands-on practice in creating teaching media; (5) Intensive mentoring; and (6) Evaluation to measure achievements. The results show that all participants took part in every stage with a 100% participation rate. Based on pre-test and post-test questionnaires, teacher competency increased significantly, both in theory (91%) and practice (96%), in creating and distributing digital materials. Keywords: learning; technology-based; golden generation

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the learning management of Bahasa Indonesia at SMA Negeri 1 Kemtuk Gresi. This research method was qualitative research, with descriptive method. Data collection techniques were conducted with interview techniques, observations, and documentation studies. The sources of this research were principals, Bahasa Indonesia teachers, deputy principals of curriculum and students. The data analysis techniques used were by data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that (1) Planning of Bahasa Indonesia learning at SMA Negeri 1 Kemtuk Gresi was conducted by teachers of Bahasa Indonesia well, namely by preparing learning tools such as RPP, syllabus, semester programs and annual programs, (2) Organizing Bahasa Indonesia learning was done by dividing the theme or subject matter of each lesson material that would be presented in accordance with the time set by using the method of assignment, discussions, and lectures, (3) The implementation of Bahasa Indonesia learning was conducted in a structured manner in accordance with the learning tools or RPP, starting from the initial activities, core activities and final activities and (4) Evaluation of Bahasa Indonesia learning was carried out at a time when the learning process had not taken place with the pre-test, formative test and summative test assessment procedure.Keywords: Bahasa Indonesia; Learning; Management

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic requires lecturers and students to carry out online learning activities in accordance with Surat Edaran Nomor 15 Tahun 2020 concerning Pedoman Penyelenggaraan Belajar dari Rumah dalam Masa Darurat Penyebaran Covid-19. Changes in  using  technology  to  modify  media  and  learning  methods  need  to  be  implemented, including in Administrasi dan Supervisi Pendidikan subject at the Program Studi Manajemen Pendidikan, Cenderawasih University, in implementing learning video and Blended Learning- Flipped Classroom (BLFC) learning method. The purpose was to implement instructional video and Blended Learning-Flipped Classroom learning method for Administrasi dan Supervisi Pendidikan students. The method used was the implementation of making learning video and Blended Learning-Flipped Classroom learning method, giving pretest and posttest and distributing questionnaires as data collection results from the implementation. The results showed that there was a positive response from students through learning beforehand using asynchronous learning videos and conducting synchronous discussions which were collaborated using the cognitive realm of Bloom's taxonomy in order to realize a directed and structured learning process. This response was supported by the results of the pretest and posttest showing an increase in understanding by 23 percent and also 90 percent of students suggesting to continue using learning videos in online learning.Keywords: Covid-19; online learning; Learning Video; BLFC

Abstract

The world of education is one of the sectors most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The pandemic situation forces all educational activities to be carried out by online. This study aimed to look at the development and how students perceived online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in higher education. The method used in this descriptive study was survey research, where the number of respondents who filled out the questionnaire were 27 students. The results of the study indicated that although students feel they are able to attend lectures, some students think that online learning did not see them as effective. The obstacles encountered by students included limited internet quota facilities, internet instability and learning methods that were considered monotonous and did not stimulate students to be active during teaching and learning activities. These obstacles, alternative solutions that could be offered are optimizing limited offline learning and lecturers are expected to be able to apply student-centered learning methods by referring to a predetermined teaching schedule.Keywords: Students’ Perceptions; Covid-19 Pandemic; Online Learning

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengelolaan stocktaking buku perpustakaan di SMP Papua Kasih. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik penelitian melibatkan tiga jenis strategi, yakni observasi, wawancara dan pengumpulan dokumen, melalui responden yakni pustakawan, guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pengklasifikasian buku perpustakaan disusun dan diberikan kode serta label untuk mempermudah pustakawan menyusun kembali buku-buku yang ada serta memudahkan para pengunjung untuk menemukan buku yang ingin dibaca. Buku yang sudah rusak, dilaporkan ke bagian manajemen sekolah untuk ditindaklanjuti dalam mengajukan pengadaan buku ke yayasan sekolah. Ditemukan hambatan yang dialami pihak sekolah adalah pengelolaan yang masih bersifat manual sehingga pencarian buku yang tersedia masih sering lebih lama. Selain itu, keberadaan jumlah tenaga kepustakaan yang kurang sehingga proses kegiatan penataan koleksi buku menjadi sedikit lebih terlambat.

Abstract

Special Sports Schools (SKO) face numerous challenges in achieving human resource development objectives through sports education, particularly regarding infrastructure, nutrition management, and professional workforce availability, with the root of nutritional issues at Papua SKO lying in athlete nutrition management during young athlete development. Conversely, SKO possesses substantial land suitable for conversion into school gardens that can subsequently serve as sustainable nutritional and energy sources for students. This Community Service (PkM) program therefore aimed to: provide education and training on sports nutrition management, deliver school garden establishment training, and conduct athlete nutrition education, implemented through sequential stages of socialization, training, technology application, mentoring and evaluation, and sustainability planning during June-October 2025 with 45 students and 5 teachers/coaches participating. Implementation involved socializing the school garden concept, training on simple irrigation systems and smart gardens utilizing moisture sensors and plant growth monitoring, followed by comprehensive mentoring and evaluation, resulting in 80% of students understanding sports nutrition and school garden concepts while 83% could establish gardens using simple irrigation techniques, with understanding demonstrated through significant knowledge improvement from pre-test scores (49.96±6.55) to post-test (90.14±6.16), a mean difference of 40.18±7.21, and N-Gain of 0.80. The integrative approach successfully addressed fundamental nutritional understanding and availability issues for young athletes, creating a sustainable solution through combined nutrition education and school gardening that concurrently alleviated infrastructure limitations.
