Abstract

Kompetensi kejuruan guru adalah suatu kegiatan atau sekali lagi dengan tujuan akhir menggarap keterampilan guru, khususnya dalam kompetensi profesional pada tingkat Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan pimpinan sekolah bertindak sebagai administrator sekolah dan bertugas untuk meningkatkan dan mendayagunakan sumber daya sekolah. sebagai guru atau pembina di sekolah sehingga kepala sekolah memiliki tanggung jawab untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan guru agar dapat memberikan pembelajaran di kelas mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan kompetensi kejuruan guru. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan jenis korelasi untuk mencari dan menghitung korelasi antar variabel. Lokasi penelitian yang dipilih adalah SMK Negeri Nabire Provinsi Papua dengan populasi 40 tenaga pengajar dan besar sampel 180 tenaga pendidik. Analisis penelitian menggunakan perhitungan product moment. Hasil yang diminta dinyatakan dalam kategori hipotesis yang dinyatakan pertama, rhitung lebih besar dari rtabel berarti Ha diterima dan jika rhitung tidak lebih dari rtabel berarti Ha ditolak maka H0 diterima. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan yang dilakukan peneliti dengan menggunakan analisis product moment dengan signifikansi 5% dengan rtabel = 0,148 dan rhitung = 0,311, terlihat bahwa data menunjukkan rhitung lebih besar dari rtabel (0,311 > 0,148) sehingga diperoleh dapat dinyatakan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho otomatis ditolak. Dapat dikatakan bahwa ada hubungan antara variabel kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan variabel kompetensi kejuruan guru.

Abstract

Kebijakan zonasi pada sekolah menengah atas telah diterapkan di berbagai daerah di Indonesia, termasuk di Kota Jayapura. Kebijakan ini bertujuan untuk meratakan akses pendidikan dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dengan mengatur penyebaran siswa ke berbagai sekolah. Namun, seperti kebijakan lainnya, kebijakan zonasi juga memiliki implikasi sosial dan akademis yang perlu dianalisis secara mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis deskriptif terhadap implikasi sosial dan akademis kebijakan zonasi pada sekolah menengah atas di Kota Jayapura. Implikasi sosial kebijakan zonasi melibatkan dampak terhadap pemerataan akses pendidikan, keadilan sosial, dan integrasi sosial antara beragam kelompok masyarakat. Melalui analisis deskriptif, dapat diidentifikasi apakah kebijakan zonasi berhasil dalam menciptakan kesetaraan akses pendidikan bagi semua warga masyarakat di Kota Jayapura. Sementara itu, implikasi akademis kebijakan zonasi melibatkan aspek kualitas pendidikan, pencapaian akademis siswa, dan upaya peningkatan mutu sekolah. Analisis ini akan membantu dalam memahami apakah kebijakan zonasi berdampak positif terhadap kualitas pendidikan dan pencapaian akademis siswa di sekolah menengah atas di Kota Jayapura. Dengan menggali lebih dalam implikasi sosial dan akademis kebijakan zonasi, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif tentang efektivitas kebijakan tersebut dalam konteks lokal Kota Jayapura. Temuan dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan berharga bagi pengambil kebijakan dalam upaya meningkatkan akses dan kualitas pendidikan di daerah tersebut serta dapat menjadi dasar bagi penelitian lebih lanjut dalam bidang kebijakan pendidikan.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how organizational communication influences teacher work motivation. This research is descriptive research using associative methods which aims to determine the influence of organizational communication on the work motivation of State Middle School teachers in Masamba District, North Luwu Regency. The sample in this research consisted of 60 teachers. The sample was determined using proportional random sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire instrument, and the questionnaire data were analyzed using a descriptive statistical approach and tested using a simple correlation formula, T test and F test. The results of the research showed that: There is a positive influence between organizational communication on teacher work motivation.

Abstract

In today's digital era, social media has become an important communication tool for educational institutions to build and strengthen the school's image. The purpose of this service is to help one of the public high schools in Jayapura City optimise the use of social media for their branding. The school was newly inaugurated in 2024 as a result of the merger of two schools. The method used in this assistance is the classical method, where the service team consisting of students of the Education Management Study Programme assists the school's social media team, with the output target being an active and attractive school social media. The results of the service showed an increase in social media management skills and optimisation of school branding and communication. In addition, the community's response to the existence of school social media is very positive, where in a short period of time the number of followers, viewers and likes on school social media has increased.

Abstract

Women are still underrepresented in leadership positions in most organizations. This study analyzes aspects of women's leadership, such as barriers, enablers, strengths, and weaknesses, to understand the challenges and opportunities they face. Using a systematic literature review method, the study included scholarly articles and books published between 2019 and 2024 from the Publish or Perish 8 application. The results show that research on women's leadership is mostly conducted in developed countries in fields such as social sciences, business, medicine, and education. In both developed and developing countries, women leaders face similar barriers, such as gender gaps, "glass ceiling" career barriers, organizational bias, lack of courage to be assertive, and limited professional networks. Several enabling factors can enhance women's leadership, such as mentoring programs, effective training, and an inclusive work culture. The strengths of women leaders include high emotional intelligence, empathy, democratic leadership style, and the ability to make decisions under pressure, which are very beneficial for organizations.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan sebagai respons terhadap pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi yang berdampak pada dunia kerja, khususnya di bidang administrasi perkantoran. Keterampilan dalam pengarsipan digital menjadi kompetensi penting bagi siswa SMK jurusan Administrasi Perkantoran di Kota Jayapura agar lebih siap menghadapi tuntutan dunia kerja berbasis digital. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam mengelola dokumen digital dan menganalisis implikasinya terhadap pendidikan vokasi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama tiga hari, melibatkan 61 siswa dari tiga kelas, dengan metode berupa workshop interaktif yang mencakup pembuatan dokumen resmi menggunakan Microsoft Word dan pengorganisasian file digital melalui Google Drive. Materi disampaikan melalui presentasi dan praktik langsung di laboratorium komputer. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif, dengan membandingkan hasil post-test praktik siswa di akhir sesi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan siswa setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Sebagian besar peserta (73,7%) mencapai nilai ≥70 pada post-test, meningkat tajam dibandingkan hasil pre-test. Peningkatan tampak pada kemampuan menyusun dokumen formal, menata folder secara sistematis, serta menggunakan Google Drive untuk menyimpan dan membagikan file. Pelatihan berbasis praktik terbukti efektif dalam membangun pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa terhadap pengarsipan digital, serta menunjukkan pentingnya integrasi keterampilan digital dalam kurikulum pendidikan vokasi untuk menjawab tantangan dunia kerja modern.

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the principal's strategy in improving student discipline at SMA Negeri 1 Jayapura, with the aim of understanding the implementation of discipline strategies and the supporting and inhibiting factors that exist. The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive design, which collects data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study consisted of principals and teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Jayapura. The results of the study indicate that the principal's strategy in improving discipline includes several important steps. First, the implementation of clear and integrated rules in the annual program. The principal uses the Student Rules of Conduct Book (TATIBSI) as a guide for school activities that have been recorded and standardized. TATIBSI provides direction regarding school regulations and ensures that each student understands and obeys the rules clearly. The principal provides exemplary examples, especially in terms of neatness of dress and punctuality, which are expected to be role models for students. Second, the regulations are emphasized by dividing the categories of violations from minor to serious. This division helps students understand the level of violation and its consequences better. Third, collaboration between the principal, teachers, and parents in monitoring student discipline is also an important part of this strategy. With good communication between the school and parents, student discipline can be monitored more effectively, both inside and outside the school. Fourth, the principal also applies the “5 S” culture (smile, greet, say hello, be polite, be polite) to create an environment that supports and supports the development of student discipline. This culture helps create a friendly, appreciative, and respectful atmosphere, which contributes to the creation of discipline in everyday life at school. Abstract

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has accelerated digital transformation in education, compelling teachers to integrate technology into their teaching practices. This study aims to analyze the impact of educational leadership on teachers’ AI integration through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) combined with meta-analysis. Data were retrieved from the Scopus database using the keywords “Educational Leadership”, “Teachers’ AI Integration”, and “Digital Transformation”. The selection process followed the PRISMA protocol and yielded six studies that met the inclusion criteria. Analysis was conducted using a random-effects model with RStudio software. The meta-analysis revealed that educational leadership has a positive and significant effect on teachers’ AI integration, with a pooled effect size of r = 0.44 (95% CI [0.37–0.51]), which falls into the medium category. The heterogeneity test resulted in I² = 71.8% (p = 0.0033), indicating substantial variability across studies, likely influenced by institutional contexts, respondent characteristics, and leadership models examined. The funnel plot analysis indicated a moderate publication bias, although the overall relationship remained consistently positive. The findings underscore that transformational and digital leadership are key factors in fostering teachers’ readiness to adopt AI and in accelerating digital transformation in education. This study contributes to the leadership literature by positioning AI integration as a new indicator of leadership effectiveness in the 21st century, while also providing practical implications for policymakers and educational leaders in designing technology-driven school transformation strategies.
