Abstract

In this research will be worked through about how cryptography RC4's algorithm implementation in protection to query result and of query, security by encryption and descryption up to both is in network. Implementation of this research which is build software in client that function access databases that is placed by the side of server. Software that building to have facility for encryption and descryption query result and of query that is sent from client goes to server and. transmission query result and of query can secure its security. Well guaranted transmission security him of query result and of query can be told to succeed if success software can encryption query result and of query which transmission so that in the event of scanning to both, scanning will not understand data content. Conclusion of this research that is woke up software succeed encryption query and result of query which transmission between application of client and of server databases. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia: Pada penelitian ini dibahas mengenai bagaimana mengimplementasikan algoritma kriptografi RC4 dalam proteksi terhadap query dan hasil query, pengamanan dilakukan dengan cara melakukan enkripsi dan dekripsi selama keduanya berada di dalam jaringan. Pengimplementasian dari penelitian ini yaitu membangun sebuah software yang akan diletakkan di sisi client yang berfungsi mengakses database yang diletakkan di sisi server. Software yang dibangun memiliki fasilitas untuk mengenkripsi dan mendektipsi query dan hasil query yang dikirimkan dari client ke server dan juga sebaliknya. Dengan demikian tramsmisi query dan hasil query dapat terjamin keamanannya.Terjaminnya keamanan transmisi query dan hasil query dapat dikatakan berhasil jika software berhasil mengenkripsi query dan hasil query yang ditransmisikan sehingga apabila terjadi penyadapan terhadap keduanya, penyadap tidak akan mengerti isi data tersebut. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu software yang dibangun berhasil mengenkripsi query dan hasil query yang ditransmisikan antara aplikasi client dan server database. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Production Costs and Marketing Costs on Net Profit. Using quantitative methods and the population of this study are two financial statements, namely the income statement and the cost of goods manufactured report in seven listed on starting from 2018-2020 for 36 months. The analytical technique used is multiple linear analysis. The results of this study indicate that Production Cost has a negative and significant effect on Net Profit. Marketing Costs have a positive and significant effect on Net Profit. And the coefficient of determination obtained by 92% is influenced by the Independent Variable and the rest is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Pada makalah ini akan dijelaskan penggunaan teknologi virtualisasi dalam proses pembelajaran jaringan linux. Virtualisasi dapat digunakan sebagai perangkat untuk membuat laboratorium jaringan virtual, implementasi dari laboratorium real dan perangkat lunak simulasi jaringan yang berguna untuk menjelaskan konsep pembelajaran jaringan komputer. Dengan adanya hal tersebut dapat memberikan gambaran karakteristik projek khususnya implementasi jaringan linux pada area teknologi virtualisasi. Cara yang untuk implementasi virtualisasi jaringan linux untuk membantu proses pembelajar digunakan netkit. Netkit merupakan emulator jaringan yang dibangun berdasarkan User Mode Linux, dimana memungkinkan user untuk mengimplementasikan jaringan komputer linux berdasarkan desain jaringan. Pada akhirnya, uji coba dilakukan dengan desain jaringan tersebut diimplementasikan pada netkit dengan membuat laboratorium virtual dan menjalankan mesin virtual netkit.

Abstract

Teknologi virtualisasi pada saat ini sudah mengalami perkembangan yang cukup baik. Dengan bukti banyaknya aplikasi yang berbasis teknologi virtualisasi. Dalam dunia pendidikan teknologi virtualisasi membawa dampak yang baik dalam peningkatan media pembelajaran. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi pada pengajaran jaringan komputer adalah kesulitan menyampaikan materi, dimana banyak materi yang memerlukan kegiatan praktikum secara langsung. Masalah ini terjadi dikarenakan keterbatasan sumber daya komputer dalam melakukan praktikum. Keterbatasan komputer ini juga merupakan masalah yang selalu dihadapi dalam pengajaran jaringan komputer yang memerlukan praktikum. Selain itu siswa yang akan melakukan percobaan yang diberikan oleh pengajar juga mengalami kesulitan yang sama dalam praktikum. Pada penelitian ini akan diimplementasikan media pengajaran routing static berbasis virtual laboratorium. Media pengajaran ini diimplementasikan menggunakan netkit. Netkit merupakan emulator jaringan berbasis sistem operasi linux. Untuk percobaan routing static diimplementasikan sistem operasi linux, dengan membuat 2 komputer sebagai router dan 2 komputer sebagai client. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan bisa membantu pengajar dan siswa dalam mempelajari materi routing static yang diimplementasikan pada sistem operasi linux.

Abstract

As technology evolves, the need for data communication grows. One technology facilitating this communication between applications and databases is the REST API, widely used by companies to provide access to their data and services. REST APIs can be developed using PHP, known as PHP Native. However, PHP Native faces performance issues and a monotonous, repetitive code structure, making maintenance and scalability challenging. Consequently, developers have created PHP frameworks like Laravel. This research compares the Laravel framework with PHP Native in REST API development, evaluating aspects such as processing speed, code efficiency, URL routing structure, and architectural models. The analysis reveals four key points: REST API processing speed, code efficiency, URL routing structure, and project architectural models. In terms of processing speed, PHP Native is slightly superior to Laravel, with speeds of 18.3 ms compared to 344.52 ms, due to additional processes in Laravel like routes, controllers, and models. For code efficiency, Laravel excels due to its ORM feature, unlike PHP Native, which requires manual SQL query writing. In URL routing, Laravel is superior with a structured routing feature, whereas PHP Native requires process file inclusion in route calls. Lastly, Laravel’s architectural model, which implements MVC, is superior to PHP Native, which lacks a standardized architectural model, leading developers to create their own.

Abstract

The thesis reports housed in the campus repository have yet to be analyzed to reveal valuable knowledge patterns. Analyzing trends in thesis research topics can facilitate the selection of research topics, aid in mapping research areas, and identify underexplored topics.Therefore, this research aims to model and classify thesis topics using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) and the Naïve Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM) methods. This study employs the LDA method for thesis topic modeling, while SVM and Naïve Bayes are used for classifying these topics. The research results show that LDA successfully modeled five of the most popular thesis topics, namely two related to computer networks, two on software engineering, and one on multimedia. For thesis topic classification, the SVM method demonstrated higher accuracy than Naïve Bayes, reaching 92.80% after the data was balanced using Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE). The implication of this study is that the topic modeling approach using LDA is able to identify dominant thesis topics. In addition, the SVM classification results obtained better accuracy than Naïve Bayes in the thesis topic classification task.

Abstract

The Community Service Program intends to support the Empowering School Certification Program by establishing computer network infrastructure at the Islamic High School in Malang's Kepanjen region. According to analysis studies, the current network falls short of the online access criteria for certification tests. This intervention employed two essential approaches. The first option entails installing standard-based computer networks in the school laboratory facilities. The second option gives information technology (IT) educators extensive network management support. The Community Service Program Team of the State Polytechnic of Malang runs the initiative, which focuses on creating a reliable network topology and increasing the skills of the school's IT staff. This intervention is expected to increase overall educational quality and develop network infrastructure that will allow certification programs to be implemented. The accompanying seeks to provide expertise to Kepanjen's Islamic High School Team so that they can manage the network more independently. This community service project is designed to optimize the digital learning ecosystem, improve education and evaluation processes, and prepare students for the complexities of the digital age. This will be accomplished through collaboration between the Community Service Program team and the Islamic High School of Kepanjen District Malang.

Abstract

The increasing number of MSMes and the high demand for fast delivery present challenges for logistics companies in managing efficient routes and courier placement. Without proper clustering, warehouse placement and picking points are often uncoordinated, causing delivery delays and increased operational costs. This research aims to group MSMe and warehouse locations based on distance, delivery volume and demand patterns to find optimal zones for courier placement, thereby increasing the efficiency of delivery routes, reducing operational time and costs, and improving the quality of delivery services. The courier clustering management application uses the Scrum method, with database design based on class diagrams and functional processes through use cases and activity diagrams. Admin maps delivery areas based on sub-districts and determines fixed prices for each regional cluster. The process of optimizing the clustering of MSMe locations in City Geographic data for new shipments is retrieved via the Google Maps API, sending the complete address to the Geocodes API endpoint. The clustering process uses the K-Means method to group MSMe locations based on geographic proximity. The test results show the efficiency of logistics delivery as well as cheaper and fairer rates thanks to the application of flat rates for all courier service users, both for long and short distances.

Abstract

In the era of advanced education, assessing lecturer performance is crucial to maintaining educational quality. One aspect of this assessment involves evaluating the textbooks authored by lecturers. This study addresses the problem of efficiently detecting International Standard Book Numbers (ISBNs) within these textbooks using optical character recognition (OCR) as a potential solution. The objective is to determine the effectiveness of OCR, specifically the Tesseract platform, in facilitating ISBN detection to support lecturer performance assessments. The research method involves automated data collection and ISBN detection using Tesseract OCR on various sections of textbooks, including covers, tables of contents, and identity pages, across different file formats (JPG and PDF) and orientations. The study evaluates OCR performance concerning image quality, rotation, and file type. Results of this study indicate that Tesseract performs effectively on high-quality, low-noise JPG images, achieving an F1 score of 0.97 for JPG and 0.99 for PDF files. However, its performance decreases with rotated images and certain PDF conditions, highlighting specific limitations of OCR in ISBN detection. These findings suggest that OCR can be a valuable tool in enhancing lecturer performance assessments through efficient ISBN detection in textbooks.
