Abstract

Artikel ini menguraikan peran ENSHI (Ensiklopedia Sistem Hukum Adat Indonesia) yang disajikan dalam bentuk website sebagai media pembelajaran dan uraian hasil penelitian terhadap pengukuran uji kelayakan ENSHI sebagai media literasi budaya pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Adapun pengukuran kelayakannya meliputi pengukuran kelayakan dalam sudut pandang konten materi dan sudut pandang media. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan campuran (mix method) dengan pengolahan data secara deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui pengisian kuesioner instrumen penelitian oleh sampel penelitian, yaitu ahli materi hukum adat dan ahli media pembelajaran yang dipilih melalui metode purposive sampling. Prosedur penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu sebagai berikut. Pertama, membuat ENSHI sebagai media pembelajaran. Kedua, mengukur kelayakan materi dan kelayakan media ENSHI sebagai media pembelajaran yang meliputi kelayakan materi dan kelayakan media. Adapun skor hasil pengukuran terhadap kelayakan materi yaitu 94,15%, sedangkan kelayakan media yaitu 79,85%. Hasil pengukuran tersebut kemudian dianalisa secara deskriptif untuk mendapatkan kesimpulan penelitian.

Abstract

Post-pandemic social change requires transformation in every element of education. Transfiguration in the structure of character education is one form of educational transformation. There are various differences and changes in the implementation of character education before and after the Covid-19 pandemic. This article will present a comparison of the implementation of character education during face-to-face learning and distance learning. In the discussion, it will explore the analysis of the obstacles and challenges of character education, then propose a solution idea as a form of character education transformation. . The approach used in this research is a mix method approach with descriptive and literature review analysis. The research subjects were students, teachers, and principals at SMPN 14 Bandung. The findings of this study in conclusions; 1) there are differences in student perceptions of the implementation of character education before and after the Covid-19 pandemic; 2) the habituation-based character education process becomes a promising alternative solution as an effort to transform the character education model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi potensi faktor budaya untuk memicu konflik di masa depan di Indonesia, berdasarkan asersi Samuel P. Huntington dalam "The Clash of Civilization" bahwa konflik budaya akan melampaui konflik ekonomi atau ideologi. Studi ini mengadopsi pendekatan kualitatif untuk lebih memahami dinamika antarbudaya yang mungkin menyebabkan konflik identitas. Dengan melakukan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen, penelitian ini menginterpretasikan nuansa pertemuan antarbudaya yang secara historis telah memolarisasi identitas, mempromosikan persatuan atau perpecahan dalam struktur sosial. Konflik sosial terkini di Indonesia, yang tampaknya tidak terkait dengan budaya, tetap saja mengungkapkan persimpangan budaya yang dalam. Contohnya termasuk kontroversi tentang kesesuaian agama seni pertunjukan wayang dan pelestarian bahasa versus kebijakan integrasi nasional, menunjukkan bagaimana nilai-nilai budaya menjadi dasar konflik ini. Temuan ini sejalan dengan teori Huntington, menekankan relevansi faktor budaya dalam konflik sosial kontemporer. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada diskursus yang lebih luas mengenai dampak dinamika budaya terhadap kesatuan nasional dan konflik sosial, mengusulkan bahwa pemahaman dan pengakuan yang lebih dalam terhadap perbedaan budaya sangat penting dalam mencegah potensi konflik di negara-negara multi-etnis seperti Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate how to build civic engagement through character education on digital platforms. This research explores the influence of citizen attitudes and behaviors on digital platforms on the development of the characters of citizen awareness, participation and commitment. The method used is a quantitative approach. Data collection was conducted through a field survey using a validated and reliable questionnaire, designed according to quantitative research standards. The target population of this study were undergraduate students of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia with a sample of 394 students selected through cluster sampling from 14 faculties, according to the Slovin formula. Data analysis used descriptive statistics, normality, and homogeneity tests. The results showed that in the attitude domain, citizens showed a good level of engagement, but their behavior showed a low level of engagement. Factors such as disinterest in sharing digital content related to character education, lack of skills in creating digital content, and infrequent preference to use social media are the main causes of this disparity. The implications of this study highlight the need for consistency in building commitment to civic action in citizen engagement in the digital era.

Abstract

The plurality of political perceptions in Indonesia certainly gives rise to a diversity of political understandings. In some situations, this can lead to unexpected extreme political disparities, including those that arise in modern Islamic political thought. Political education as an instrument for unifying the nation's political interests has a strategic role in overcoming this problem. Thus, an objective study is needed to analyze the perceptions of modernist Islamic groups in viewing political and national education. This research was conducted to: 1) find out the perceptions of modernist Islamic political activists in Indonesia about the state; 2) and modernist Islamic political perceptions of political education. The research was conducted on modern Islamic political activists represented by the Regional Leadership Council of Partai Keadilan Sejahtera in Bandung City. This research approach uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that there is objectification of Islamic political thought in viewing political education to strengthen commitment to the nation.

Abstract

Does the cultivation of democratic values require contextualization along with the progressiveness of social change? The response to this question can be answered scientifically after an objective measurement of the political moral situation. This study seeks to identify ideal interventions for effective political education to increase political awareness, especially in the contemporary political era in Indonesia. Not only presenting data, this study forms and develops solutions. Thus, this study is filled with various systematic flows to 1) translate political awareness; 2) analyze the phenomenon; 3) propose practical intervention solutions that can help strengthen political awareness. To measure political awareness, using the subject's attitude, interest, and opinion (AIO) measurement model. After the subject's profile is identified, data collection uses a comprehensive scale measurement through 3 (three) methods, namely verbal rating scale (VRS), graphic rating scale (GRS), and numeric rating scale (NRS). The results of the analysis show that the political awareness index is 55.20 out of a maximum value of 100, which indicates conditions that are not in accordance with expectations. To improve it, the ideal intervention is to form political education media that are in accordance with the needs of the subject. The best intervention is to compile digital political education media that utilizes social media. Social media can be considered to have strong potential for political knowledge by providing more opportunities to access political content

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of CGBL in enhancing learning outcomes. The integration of GBL with the TGT model was applied to combine interactivity, collaboration, and structured educational competition. Learning effectiveness was assessed using the ARCS model (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction), combined with additional indicators of AS and PIS. A quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design was employed, involving two D4-level student classes at Politeknik Negeri Bandung, assigned as the experimental group (CGBL) and the control group (conventional instruction). Data were collected through pretest and posttest to measure cognitive achievement, as well as a motivation questionnaire based on the ARCS model. Data were analyzed using t-tests and Mann–Whitney U tests to examine differences in learning outcomes, and Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to assess the validity and influence of motivational constructs. The findings show that the implementation of CGBL significantly improves students’ cognitive achievement, motivation, and participation compared to conventional methods (p < 0.05). The relevance construct was found to be the primary trigger for attention, confidence, and satisfaction, which in turn positively influenced both AS and PIS. These results confirm that integrating CGBL not only enhances learning engagement and satisfaction but also contributes to the development of students’ analytical and participatory competencies. This study offers theoretical contributions through the development of a motivation-based instructional model and provides practical solutions for innovative teaching strategies in higher education in the digital era.

Abstract

Kajian tentang demokrasi di ruang digital menjadi isu yang semakin berkembang seiring dengan transformasi sosial yang berlangsung pesat. Kondisi ini menunjukkan adanya benturan antara kebebasan berekspresi dengan pendekatan moral yang normatif, sehingga penting untuk mengkaji kembali posisi etika dan regulasi dalam dunia digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab bagaimana relasi antara kebebasan berekspresi, etika, dan regulasi dapat dipahami dalam konteks ruang digital. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah netnografi dengan memadukan pendekatan etnografi pada lingkup digital. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif pada media sosial Instagram, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola narasi etika, simbol, dan dinamika kuasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebebasan berekspresi di ruang digital, dengan adanya intervensi algoritma, justru memperkuat munculnya perilaku yang berpotensi melanggar etika digital. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa ketidakjelasan batasan regulasi menjadi faktor yang memicu kerentanan dalam praktik demokrasi digital. Riset menyimpulkan bahwa etika digital perlu dikodifikasi dalam regulasi yang jelas agar dapat diaplikasikan secara praktis di ruang digital. Implikasi penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi antara pemerintah, platform digital, dan masyarakat dalam membangun tata kelola ruang digital yang berkeadaban.

Abstract

The Forum Pemuda Peduli Karst Citatah (FP2KC) faces challenges in evaluating its environmental conservation programs in a structured and comprehensive manner. The evaluations of existing programs are still sporadic and insufficient to capture deeper social impacts because they rely heavily on quantitative data. To address this issue, a Community Service Program (PKM) was initiated with the aim of strengthening FP2KC’s evaluation capacity through the application of the Most Significant Change (MSC) method. This qualitative method was chosen for its ability to capture complex social changes through participants’ narratives. The approach enables a deeper and multidimensional understanding of program impacts, as demonstrated in various previous studies. The program’s implementation method includes four approaches: facilitation, FGDs and training, as well as mentoring and technical assistance. These approaches are intended to transfer knowledge and skills to FP2KC administrators, particularly in applying MSC. The outcomes of this program are innovations in program evaluation and enhanced partner skills. With a more effective evaluation system, FP2KC is expected to measure program progress more accountably and sustainably, while strategically contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the university’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
