Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tentang Dampak Game Mobile Legends terhadap Pola Interaksi anak di Cigadung Kab, Kota bandung. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa observasi, dan teknik wawancara. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pemain mobile legends dan juga orang tua wali. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dampak game online mobile legends lebih dominan adalah dampak negatif dan kurangnya dampak positif. Dampak tersebut di lihat dari perilaku anak yang sering bermain game online mobile legends dan meliputi aspek sosial dan psikis saran dalam penelitian ini adalah para orang tua harus lebih bijak lagi dalam mengatur dan lebih memperhatikan anak dalam mengunakan waktunya dalam bermain game online. Selain itu para orang tua juga harus mampu mengawasi serta mengontrol segala perilaku yang dilakukan oleh anak.

Abstract

Anxiety disorder is a mental disorder that has a condition that will shake anxiety and feel worried about something, even though he is in a normal situation. This anxiety disorder is sometimes experienced by students when they develop their soft skills. This study aims to determine whether self- therapy with the method of social cohesion or social cohesion can minimize anxiety disorders experienced by students of Social Studies Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia or not. This research is descriptive qualitative. Instruments used for data collection in the form of interviews, direct observation and literature study. The data collection process was carried out in the environment around the Faculty of Social Science Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia for interviews and in the resource class for observations. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that self-therapy through social cohesion methods to minimize anxiety disorders is quite helpful, although not completely.

Abstract

Post-pandemic social change requires transformation in every element of education. Transfiguration in the structure of character education is one form of educational transformation. There are various differences and changes in the implementation of character education before and after the Covid-19 pandemic. This article will present a comparison of the implementation of character education during face-to-face learning and distance learning. In the discussion, it will explore the analysis of the obstacles and challenges of character education, then propose a solution idea as a form of character education transformation. . The approach used in this research is a mix method approach with descriptive and literature review analysis. The research subjects were students, teachers, and principals at SMPN 14 Bandung. The findings of this study in conclusions; 1) there are differences in student perceptions of the implementation of character education before and after the Covid-19 pandemic; 2) the habituation-based character education process becomes a promising alternative solution as an effort to transform the character education model.

Abstract

TikTok is the most popular social media in Indonesia with an average usage duration of more than 2 hours per day with a percentage of 47.4% from Indonesian population. TikTok initially only functioned as an entertainment media by displaying various short videos. However, along with its development, TikTok now opens up great opportunities for business owners to be able to expand their marketing through video advertisements. This study aims to determine the influence of using TikTok on the establishment of student Entrepreneurial Spirit of Social Science Education students. The approach used is a quantitative approach with a survey method. This study involved 162 respondents as a sample using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Hypothesis testing in this study using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed a sig value. 0.008 <0.05 and obtained a t-count value of 2.685> t-table 1.975, which means that there is a positive influence between the two variables.

Abstract

One of the most popular social media platforms among students is TikTok, a short-video sharing platform widely used for entertainment. However, excessive and uncontrolled use of TikTok can negatively impact learning activities, such as decreasing the ability to manage time, plan tasks, and complete academic responsibilities independently. These abilities are referred to as Self-Regulated Learning (SRL). In social studies (IPS) learning, SRL plays a crucial role as it helps students understand concepts, manage their study time, and complete tasks in a structured manner. With strong SRL skills, students can maintain focus in IPS learning despite distractions like social media. This study aims to analyze the relationship between SRL in IPS learning and addiction to the social media platform TikTok. The research employs a quantitative approach using a correlational method and purposive sampling technique involving 196 respondents. The data analysis results show a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a Pearson correlation coefficient of -0.440, indicating a significant negative relationship between SRL in IPS learning and TikTok addiction. This means that the higher the level of students' self-regulation in IPS learning, the lower their tendency to experience TikTok addiction. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening self-directed learning strategies to reduce the negative impacts of social media use. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in improving students' historical thinking skills, class VII at SMPN 13 Bandung in learning Social Studies. The quantitative approach with the Design Based Research (DBR) research method includes four stages, namely analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, then data analysis techniques are carried out descriptively. The results of the study showed that the effectiveness of using AR can increase student learning interactions by 82%, meaning that it shows more active involvement than conventional learning. Conceptual understanding increased by 45%, while critical thinking skills increased by 40%. This means that 85% of students are better able to understand the material on the development of Indonesian society during the Hindu and Buddhist periods in social studies. Other findings are that 90% based on information from social studies teachers there was an increase in students' analytical abilities and 95% of students expressed a high interest in using AR in social studies. This finding has an impact that the use of AR technology can improve students' historical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of pedagogical competence, educational infrastructure, and non-physical work environment on the performance of teachers at SMA Pasundan 1 Bandung. The research aims to identify the extent to which these factors contribute to enhancing teacher performance, which is crucial for improving educational outcomes. The findings reveal that pedagogical competence has a strong positive correlation with educational infrastructure, and both factors significantly influence the non-physical work environment. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of continuous professional development and the adaptation of innovative teaching methods, especially in the transition to hybrid learning in the new normal era. The study concludes with recommendations for school administrators to prioritize the improvement of these critical areas to foster a more effective and conducive teaching environment.

Abstract

Masyarakat kini dapat melihat dunia secara digital berkat perkembangan industri teknologi informasi yang semakin pesat, khususnya media komunikasi. Paparan konten secara rutin selama interaksi media sosial dapat menghambat perkembangan anak-anak dan remaja baik dalam ranah psikologis maupun perilaku. Karena seringnya anonimitas pengguna, bullying secara verbal melalui ancaman dan komentar di media sosial sering terjadi dalam media sosial atau cyberbullying. Tujuan Artikel ini adalah untuk menyelidiki dan memahami peran pendidik dalam mengatasi masalah cyberbullying pada anak dan remaja. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, peran guru dalam mencegah cyberbullying antara lain melalui memberikan konseling kepada pelaku cyberbullying, mengelola forum pengaduan untuk siswa, dan menyediakan program khusus untuk menangani kasus kekerasan seksual dan cyberbullying di sekolah. Meskipun upaya ini telah dilakukan, penanganan cyberbullying yang dilakukan oleh pelaku anonim masih menjadi tantangan yang perlu diatasi.

Abstract

Character education is one of the educational programs that can develop the positive character of students and overcome juvenile delinquency that occurs. One of the cultivation of character education in the school environment is through textbooks as the main learning resource. The purpose of this research is to find out what character education values are contained in the Junior High School Social Studies Textbook Grade VII Curriculum 2013 Revised Edition 2017. This study used a qualitative research approach with a narrative content analysis method with data collection techniques of interviews with one of the junior high school teachers, classroom observation to find out the implementation of character values at SMP Negeri 1 Lembang, documentation study of lesson plans, and analysis of textbook content. The results of the study showed that the Junior High School Social Studies Textbook Grade VII Curriculum 2013 Revised Edition 2017 contains 18 character education values. These values are included in the learning materials, individual activities, group activities, and reflect features. However, there are other values that are equally important in relation to juvenile delinquency. Group activity as one of the most impactful activities on the internalization process that contains three aspects at once. Character values appear more during implementation than those contained in textbooks and lesson plans.
