Abstract

Operator work facility is one of the factors which influence work performance in a system. Good work facility must be comfortable for the operator. Operator work facility in a soya curd industry is a soya breaking tool. This tool doesn’t fulfill the standardized concept of ergonomy and user satisfaction. In this paper we are going to discuss operator work facility improvement; that is designing of an ergonomic soya breaking tool which is ideal and needed by the users. In the designing of the soya breaking tool, Kano and QFD models are intergratedly used. The result of the need analysis, we found twelve atributes. From the twelve attributes, after we processed by using Kano model about operator sa-tisfaction, applied in the House of Quality (HOQ), we found that there were five attributes in performance 1 and Basic factor. Those attributes were; the tool was easily maintained, the production process is fast, the tool is not tiring, the tool is save, and design is justified with the work position. To improve the quality of soya breaking tool by using Kano and QFD models, there are two primary factors. First, the tool size used Anthropometry, se-cond, the tool is operated by using feet.

Abstract

MULTIFAB is a company engaged in the field of technical companies highly specialist themselves in the field of production, fabrication equipment and specialized structures used in the chemical industry, petrochemical and oil and gas. In the normal process of production, especially in the welding process, its output is still a lot of experience of disability. Efforts to increase product quality and prevent and minimize product failure, this requires an analysis of quality control that is with a chain reaction analysis. From the data processing, as an early stage concept identifiers use problem FMEA, failure indicates that the effects of the highest-rated Slag Inclusion Risk Priority Number (RPN) at 256. Stage of quality improvement can be made using the method of Kaizen Kaizen is the Five-Step Plan and the 5W 1H. Chain reaction from the results of quality improvement. This is done by measuring the productivity of labor performed before and after improvement of quality. From the measurement of productivity, an increase of 0.01 and calculating the cost of reworks the calculation result of Rp 880 956. Based on the results of processing data on improved quality, causing a chain reaction that is after improved quality, productivity will increase and production costs willdecrease because the repair of products will be reduced.

Abstract

The scheduling of a non-deterministic dynamic job shop was a matter of orga-nizing an amount of operations for certain machines with different sequence for different job, whereas the output of the job varies and was previously could not be determined. The purpose of the research was to minimize the mean tardiness of lateness of a job whether it was either an active job or non-delay, ahead of schedule or the rescheduled, and a prioritized job or the non priority. The research used genetic algorithm approach to determine the problems occurred in the scheduling or the rescheduling of a non-deter-ministic dynamic job shop. The function of fitness of the research functioned as the goal, whereas the best fitness output was the fitness with the biggest minimum mean tardiness. The best fitness for an ahead of schedule, either active or non-delay, was the ones with the exact fitness value of 0,0256410The same goes for early scheduling, either with or without priority, which had the exact output of 0,0256410. For a new job, either active or non-delay, had the exact fitness output of 0, 0148148. A different resulted for the resche-duling of a prioritized new job that had the best fitness output of 0, 0077295 for active job; and 0,005868 for a non-delay job. Rescheduling could be done by doing a job insertion in the beginning of the schedule. It was seen that in the beginning of the schedule, whether active or non-delay, the fitness was 0,0245610 and afterwards by adding job 6, job 7 and job 8 the output of the fitness differed accordingly with the case of the job.

Xx is a company engaged in spinning yarn. This company produces various types of yarns including cotton, rayon, polyester-rayon and polyester-cotton. The problem that often arises at the moment is about optimization of raw materials. During the production process takes, the processing produces waste. By analyzing calculation result of linear programming than continued result enter in to fuzzy multi-objective method so to getted optimum product combination base on tolerance of company hoped. Result of research base on fuzzy multiobjective optimization method have got product combination they are rayon 40/1 1601,299 cone with profit Rp. 18170740,4 and waste 118,49 kg. By applying fuzzy multi-objective optimization can reduce waste 8,68 kg.

Abstract

Peripatetic company in area manufacture will not get out of the that company ability to run its operation. Environmental problems optimation of manufacture usually hit the finite resource allocation of its amount in a few work area. With the certain criterion performance, the problems optimation is usually finished. One of form optimalitation in system manufacture is by scheduling existing production facility to finish some job. Two general criterion which often weared to evaluate the performance scheduling is makespan and flow time. At this research is conducted to compare the minimum makespan is by using overlapping method and without using overlapping method. Overlapping method is division of a number of part to be produced by multi stage into some batch in such a way that the batch can be parallelly processed. Batch scheduling by using overlapping method represent the optimal solution by minimation makespan. Total the optimal batch as much 2. Makespan got is equal to 148745,08 minute, smaller than makespan got without using overlapping method that is equal to 152000 minute. Big of time thrift is equal to 2,14%.

Abstract

PT. Boemi Surya Perkasa merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang distributor tabung gas LPG yang melakukan pendistribusian produknya kepada para pelanggan yang tersebar diwilayah Bantul. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang telah dilakukan, ternyata penentuan rute yang digunakan perusahaan hanya mempercayakan kepada sopir. Sehingga rute yang digunakan tidak tetap dan berubah-ubah. Hal tersebut dapat membuat jarak pendistribusian menjadi lebih panjang, sehingga biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk distribusi menjadi mahal. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis perbandingan hasil metode penyelesaian dalam Supply Chain Management (SCM) yaitu Clarke & Wright Saving Heuristik dan Generalized Assignment. Tujuan utama dari metode ini adalah perencanaan rute dan penugasan kendaraan dengan biaya distribusi yang optimal. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan pada 38 retailer diketahui bahwa biaya yang dikeluarkan metode Clarke & Wright Saving Heuristik sebesar Rp. 1.353.346 per hari dapat memberikan penghematan sebesar Rp. 120.777 per hari (8 %) dibandingkan dengan penggunaan metode Generalized Assignment Rp. Rp. 1.314.365 per hari dengan penghematan sebesar Rp. 159.758 per hari (11%) dari biaya sebelumnya sebesar Rp. 1.474.123 per hari. Rute usulan yang optimal dihasilkan oleh metode Generalized Assignment (12 rute dengan total jarak tempuh sebesar 403,34 km) dibandingkan rute usulan yang dihasilkan dengan clarke & wright saving heuristik (12 rute dengan total jarak tempuh sebesar 489,93 km) dari 16 rute sebelumnya dengan total jarak tempuh 539,621 km. Rute yang dimiliki oleh Generalized Assignment lebih sederhana, fleksibel dan mempunyai kecepatan tinggi daripada Clarke & Wright Saving Heuristic.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah merupakan bagian integral dunia usaha nasionalmempunyai kedudukan, potensi, dan peranan yang sangat penting dan strategisdalam mewujudkan tujuan pembangunan ekonomi pada khususnya. Kendala yangdihadapi oleh para pelaku UMKM OK OCE ADMA adalah masih terbatasnyakemampuan dalam hal pemasaran, apalagi di masa pandemi Covid-19. Tujuandiadakannya pelatihan adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilanmengenai bagaimana melakukan promosi di Fanpage facebook. Metode yangdigunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pelatihan danpraktek pembuatan Fanpage facebook. Dari hasil pelatihan yang dilaksanakan olehtim pengabdi, pelaku bisnis telah memiliki fanpage bagi usaha mereka masingmasing. Namun pelaku UMKM perlu melengkapi Informasi dan mempostingproduk untuk sarana pemasaran online produk mereka.

Abstract

OK OC ADMA Yogyakarta is a social movement for job creation. The entrepreneurship andpeople's economy movement initiated by OK OC ADMA aims to be able to createindependence and a lot of jobs for the people of Indonesia. In addition, OK OC ADMAYogyakarta provides business stalls for entrepreneurs based on IT and provides businesscoaching and training as well as entrepreneurship guidance. However, the members of OKOC ADMA Yogyakarta still have limited knowledge in product photos and the applicationof technology, especially the creation of social media content to make it easier for membersto promote their business products. So, in this community service activity, counseling isgiven to members about the science of product photography and the photo editing processusing a smartphone so that it becomes content that can be a promotional media. The methodused for the first time was counseling OK OC ADMA members about the importance ofproduct photos and digital promotions to increase sales. After knowing the theory, thetraining participants applied product photo techniques using cellphones and registered forsocial media, such as Facebook Business and Instagram. Then the participants download aphoto editing application and start creating content using the product photos they alreadyhave. From the results of the counseling carried out by the service, product photos and thecreation of promotional content can be done independently in the future. Product photos andphoto editing so that they become promotional content can ease the burden on entrepreneursin promoting all over through online media, which can indirectly help increase the reach oftheir product promotions.

Abstract

Data dari BPS menunjukkan masih sangat sedikit usaha yang memanfaatkan pemasaran online. Berdasarkan wawancara singkat dengan para pelaku usaha anggota OK oCE ADMA diketahui bahwa banyak UMKM yang terdampak selama pandemi COVID-19. Penjualan mereka mengalami penurunan selama pandemi berlangsung, karena mereka tidak dapat membuka usaha secara offline akibat adanya pembatasan sosial berskala besar. Selama ini usaha yang mereka jalan mayoritas masih mengandalkan pemasaran secara offline. Penggunaan media sosial sebagai sarana promosi pun belum dimaksimalkan dengan baik. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan sekaligus praktek pembuatan Whatsapp Bisnis. Dari hasil penyuluhan yang dilaksanakan oleh pengabdi, pelaku bisnis telah memiliki Whatsapp Bisnis bagi usaha mereka masing-masing. Namun pelaku bisnis perlu melengkapi pembuatan katalog untuk sarana pemasaran online produk mereka

Abstract

PT. XY tea is a black tea processing company, the problem faced is the presence of tea powder that has a production defect that must be reworked because the water content does not meet the standard (3-4%). The purpose of this study was to analyze the quality control of black tea products by identifying the relationship between the types of waste at the work station and measuring the sigma level value. The method used to identify the interrelationships between wastes is by using the Waste Relationship Matrix and making a control chart graph and then calculating the DPMO value and Sigma Level to measure the level of production capability. The results showed that the largest percentage level for waste that has an influence on other types of waste is waste of motion (22.50%) at the sorting stage, the waste that is often affected is inventory (19.63%) at the milling stage. For the production of quality I black tea, the sigma value is 2.31 with a DPMO value of 210605, meaning that for every one million opportunity there is a possibility of 210605 units of rework products. Meanwhile, for quality III, the sigma value is 2.55 with a DPMO value of 150661.
