Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of mental health as a moderation variable in the relationship between work facilities and employee job satisfaction. Adequate work facilities are generally thought to be able to increase job satisfaction, but these effects can vary depending on the individual's psychological condition, particularly mental health. This research is motivated by the importance of a holistic approach in human resource management, which includes both physical and psychological aspects of the work environment. The research method used was a quantitative approach with survey techniques to 150 respondents working in the public service sector in urban areas. The data collection instrument was in the form of a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale, and hypothesis testing was carried out through moderation regression analysis using the help of SPSS software. The results of the study show that work facilities have a positive and significant influence on employee job satisfaction. In addition, it was found that mental health played a significant role as a significant moderation variable in the relationship. This means that the influence of work facilities on job satisfaction becomes stronger or weaker depending on the level of mental health possessed by employees. These findings underscore the importance of organizations not only focusing on improving physical work facilities, but also paying attention to and managing employees' mental health as an integral part of strategies to improve well-being and work productivity. Interventions such as counseling programs, work-life balance, and stress management training need to be considered as part of the organization's policies. This research makes a theoretical contribution in enriching the understanding of the role of psychological variables in job satisfaction dynamics, as well as a practical contribution to management in designing a healthier and more productive work environment.

Abstract

Penelitian telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 4 Juni 2024 sampai dengan 9 Juni. Berlokasi di Kecamatan Kepulauan TanaKeke, Metode pengumpulan data dengan cara pengambilan sampel lamun dan megabentos menggunakan metode transek kuadran. Pengambilan sampel dimulai dari pemasangan transek dengan menggunakan roll meter yang ditarik tegak lurus garis pantai sepanjang 50 meter pada saat air surut. Penempatan transek dimulai dari ditemukan lamun menggunakan frame kuadran berukuran 1x1 meter. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh Jenis-jenis lamun yang teridentifikasi di Pulau TanaKeke yaitu: Thallasia hemprichi, Cymodocea rotundata, Enhalus acoroides, Halophila minor, dan Sirongodyum isoetifilium.; Indeks Nilai Penting tertinggi berada pada Cymodocea rotundata dengan nilai 109,27 dan terendah berada pada Halophila minor dengan nilai 21,09. Indeks Nilai Penting (INP) digunakan untuk menghitung dan menduga keseluruhan dari peranan jenis lamun didalam suatu komunitas. Indeks nilai penting (INP) berkisar antara 0 – 300. INP memberikan gambaran mengenai pengaruh atau peranan suatu jenis tumbuhan terhadap suatu daerah. Semakin tinggi nilai INP suatu jenis relatif terhadap jenis lainnya, semakin tinggi peranan jenis pada komunitas tersebut.

Abstract

Beach tourism is a visit made by a person or group of people to enjoy the beauty of the sea and has the aim of doing special activities such as swimming and or just sunbathing on the beach. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of suitability of the Cempae Beach tourist area, Soreang District. This study was conducted in March - April located at Cempae Beach, Soreang District, Parepare City. The method used in this study is land suitability data collection using 10 suitability matrices from Yulianda 2019 with direct observation methods measuring beach type parameters, beach width, water bottom material, water depth, water clarity, current speed, beach slope, coastal land cover, dangerous biota and fresh water availability. The results of the study of the suitability analysis of Cempae Beach tourist land, Soreang District, Parepare City are classified as suitable (S2) with an IKW value of station 1 of 70.67% (S2), the Tourism suitability Index value at station 2 with a figure of 67.00% (2) and for the suitability value of station 3 with a figure of 59.00% (S3). The results of the study show that the level of suitability of Cempae Beach tourism is included in the Suitable category (S2) with an average value of 65.56%, of the 50 respondents who agreed, 65.62% were in the "Good" category so that the location can be used as a beach tourism spot.
