Abstract

The Kampus Mengajar program, part of the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) initiative, enables university students to engage in primary education, particularly in areas with limited access. This study analyzes the impact of the seventh cohort of the program on literacy and numeracy skills at SD Negeri 1 Margototo. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were gathered through observations, interviews, and documentation from teachers, students, and participating university students. The research findings indicate that there was an increase in the average scores from the pretest and post-test of the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM), specifically a 42% improvement in literacy skills and a 44% improvement in numeracy skills. These findings suggest that the Kampus Mengajar program plays a significant role in enhancing the quality of primary education and serves as an effective collaborative model between university students and schools in underserved areas.

Abstract

Creativity is one of the important demands in the world of education and life today. The goal is to find out the implementation of ecoprint training in schools, to find out students' creativity in ecoprint training, and to find out students' perceptions after participating in ecoprint training. The methods in this community service are Observation and analysis of problems and needs, Implementation of activities with the school, Core Activities / Ecoprint training, Community Service Results hone students' creativity to make ecoprint batik. The results of this training show that students are able to express their creativity and imagination through area-friendly works. The work has the ability to continue to be enlarged and utilized as an effort to reduce pollution in the surrounding environment.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low social studies learning outcomes of fourth grade students at an Islamic elementary school in East Java, Indonesia. The primary objective of this study was to investigate whether the Field Trip learning method could enhance the social studies learning outcomes of fourth grade students during the 2023/2024 academic year. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology, conducted over two cycles. The subjects consisted of 20 students. Data were collected through observation sheets, tests, and documentation, and were analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The findings revealed a notable improvement in student learning outcomes. In cycle one, 10 students (50%) achieved the minimum mastery criteria, which increased to 16 students (80%) in cycle 2 demonstrating substantial progress. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the Field Trip method is effective in improving student learning outcomes in social studies for fourth grade students at the studied Islamic elementary school during the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

Salah satu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh anak usia sekolah dasar, adalah kemampuan dalam memahami konsep matematika, akan tetapi pada kenyataan di lapangan masih terdapat banyak anak-anak belum dapat memahami konsep matematika. Pemahaman konsep matematika tidak hanya harus dikuasai oleh anak-anak sekolah dasar saja, akan tetapi orang tua pun memiliki peran dalam mendampingi belajar anak-anak dan memiliki pengaruh yang besar untuk pengembangan kompetensi anak-anaknya, terutama dibidang matematika. Kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilakukan penyuluhan terhadap orang tua yang memiliki anak usia SD, dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman konsep matematika terhadap orang tua anak sekolah dasar di Desa Negara Ratu Kecamatan Batanghari Nuban Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Sasaran dalam pengabdian masyarakat ni adalah semua orang tua yang memiliki anak di usia Sekolah dasar di Desa Negara Ratu Kecamatan Bumi Ratu Nuban Lampung Timur. Mengingat kegiatan ini berupa penyuluhan, maka metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah, demonstrasi dan diskusi/tanya jawab. Para Orang tua diharapkan dapat mengikuti penyuluhan dalam pemahaman konsep matematika ini, dengan harapan dapat mendampingi belajar anak-anaknya di rumah agar dapat mengerjakan tugas-tugas sekolah terutama pada pelajaran matematika yang dianggap sangat sulit selama ini, sehingg menjadi tidak sulit lagi dan menjadi menyenangkan serta menarik, sehingga kedekatan anak secara emosional terbangun dan komunikasi interaktif antar anak dan orang tua. Kegiatan penyuluhan ini memiiki manfaat dan pengaruh yang baik untuk membantu anak-anak mereka dalam mengembangkan kemampuan dibidang matematika

Abstract

Pengabdian ini memfokuskan pada pelatihan pembuatan Instrumen IPS dan Penjaskes sebagai solusi untuk peningkatan kemampuan Kognitif Siswa. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk melatihkan guru-guru pada tingkat SMA agar dapat membuat instrumen kemampuan kognitif sesuai dengan jenjang level pendidikan. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Tahapan dalam pengabdian ini terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahapan evaluasi. Berdasarkan evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan melalui angket diperoleh hasil guru merasa sangat puas memperoleh pemahaman terhadap pembuatan instrumen berdasarkan Taksonomi Bloom. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memberikan manfaat yang sangat besar bagi guru mata pelajaran IPS dan Penjaskes dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pembuatan instrumen kognitif berdasarkan Taksonomi Bloom sehingga pada akhirnya dapat menyiapkan dan melatih siswa dalam menerapkan pemahaman kognitif untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan dilingkungannya.

Abstract

This training aims to improve students' scientific writing skills with a total of 35 participants in the Elementary School Teacher Education program at Nahdlatul Ulama University, Lampung. This training is structured in three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The planning stage includes analyzing student needs, selecting appropriate training methods, and preparing the necessary materials. The implementation stage is learning to write scientific papers by students by attending training sessions, creating their own papers, and presenting the results. The evaluation stage shows that students understand, comprehend, and can manage the articles they have created well. Meanwhile, some students still experience difficulties in managing the class accounts they have created. The conclusion in the scientific writing training for students can be applied. Students acquire scientific article writing skills, which is a crucial step towards publication in reputable journals. Students develop a better understanding of the importance of writing and are enthusiastic about this training.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The background of this study is the low learning achievement of students in understanding Civic Education material. This study aims to improve students’ learning outcomes through the use of picture media for first-grade students at SD N 2 Tegal Ombo. This research used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 18 first-grade students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The results showed that the use of picture media significantly improved students’ learning outcomes. In Cycle I, only 8 students (44.44%) achieved mastery, while 10 students (55.56%) did not. After improvements in Cycle II, the number of students who achieved mastery increased to 15 students (83.33%), and only 3 students (16.67%) remained incomplete. This indicates an increase in learning mastery of 44.4% from Cycle I to Cycle II. The improvement occurred because picture media helped students understand the material more easily, increased their interest, and made learning more interactive. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of picture media is effective in improving Civic Education learning outcomes for first-grade elementary school students. Keywords: Civic Education, Learning Outcomes, Picture Media ABSTRAK Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dalam memahami materi Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui penggunaan media gambar pada siswa kelas I SD N 2 Tegal Ombo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 18 siswa kelas I. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media gambar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan. Pada Siklus I, hanya 8 siswa (44,44%) yang mencapai ketuntasan, sedangkan 10 siswa (55,56%) belum tuntas. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada Siklus II, jumlah siswa yang tuntas meningkat menjadi 15 siswa (83,33%), dan hanya 3 siswa (16,67%) yang belum tuntas. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan ketuntasan belajar sebesar 44,4% dari Siklus I ke Siklus II. Peningkatan tersebut terjadi karena media gambar membantu siswa lebih mudah memahami materi, meningkatkan minat belajar, serta membuat pembelajaran lebih interaktif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media gambar efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn pada siswa kelas I sekolah dasar. Abstract

This research aims to improve learning outcomes in science using audio-visual media. As a natural science, it aims to educate students in understanding natural sciences, such as natural phenomena and how to understand scientific methods and then apply them with a scientific attitude. Science is also a field of study that studies the natural sciences, namely substances, both living and non-living things. Based on the results of the initial survey, with the majority of students being less active in participating in learning activities, student learning outcomes in science are still low, and many have not yet achieved the KKTP (Preparatory Competency Level). Based on these problems, the researcher made efforts to improve the learning process by using audio-visual media. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with data collection using several methods: observation, tests, and documents. Learning was conducted in two cycles, with 13 students from fourth grade participating in the study. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that: Student learning outcomes using audio-visual media are as follows: In the pre-cycle, 6 students (46.15%) achieved learning completion with an average score of 73.69. In the first cycle, 8 students (61.54%) achieved learning completion with an average score of 75.69. Furthermore, in the second cycle, student learning outcomes improved further, with 11 students (84.62%) achieved learning completion with an average score of 82.00, completing the learning. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of audio-visual media can improve student learning outcomes in the fourth-grade science subject at SDN 01 Sidomekar.
