Therefore, heteroscedasticity is not a problem.Because the objective of these analysis was to determine which variables are the most efficient in discriminating earning changes, a stepwise procedure was used. There are five significant ratios (DIV/NI, S/TA, LTD/TA, NI/S, and INPPE/TU). DIV/NI ratio is ratio which most discriminating, while INPPE/TU ratio which least discriminating.

Abstract

This study aims to test whether the management that receive compensation in the form of stock options having an positive impact on company performance. This study considers the external performance measurement by identifying Cumulative Abnormal Return (CAR). In addition, this study aims to test whether the company's capital structure affects the sensitivity level of employee stock option compensation and firm performance. Capital structure is measured with debt to equity ratio. The result indicates that the proportion of Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) influence company performance in accordance with the predictions. This shows that the more stock options offered to employees then came a sense of belonging which resulted in more motivated managers to improve company performance. Furthermore, the higher the market performance of companies that can be achieved, the higher the profit (gain) will be obtained by the recipient of stock options. In addition, this study also shows that the impact of stock option grants at the company's performance declined with the greater capital structure of liability. This shows that the capital structure of liabilities will lower the sensitivity level of employee stock option compensation and firm performance. The higher the company's liabilities would reduce the rights of the owner of the dividends each period in accordance with the ownership of shares held since the company must take into account the interest costs to be paid to the creditor.

Abstract

Abstract

ABSTRACT   This study aims to examine the effect of intellectual capital on company financial performance and company sustainability growth. This study uses manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. This study found that the components of intellectual capital have an effect on company performance, this is because well-managed intellectual capital is the main driver of increasing company performance and is also supported by superior intellectuals that will have an impact on the company's sustainable growth. Intellectual capital which includes human capital, structural capital, and relational capital is able to improve the company's financial performance, which in turn will be able to increase investment. This investment will ultimately increase the market reaction which is reflected in the company's stock price (company value). Intellectual capital is also an impetus for companies to be able to grow sustainably, especially in terms of human capital owned by the company. Companies must continue to develop and empower their potential resources in order to advance the company so that the company can win in the competition which is getting heavier.
