Abstract

Education is dynamic and always developing to keep it up to date with today's condition. The government always puts an effort so that the education quality in Indonesia will not be left behind compared to other countries in the world. One of the aspects stimulating the changes is customer demand over the quality of the education system. This study also aimed at analyzing the influence of service quality on the satisfaction and loyalty of senior high school or SMA students. The data used in this study were primary data with a total respondent of 88 students. The technique for data analysis used in this study was path analysis assisted by Smart PLS. The research findings showed that service quality and institutional image significantly influenced satisfaction, yet they did not influence loyalty significantly. Meanwhile, satisfaction directly influenced loyalty. Further study is suggested to add several variables, such as perceived value, perceived quality, and the like that are considered giving an influence on creating student’s loyalty. Practical implications also drawn to conclude this study.

Abstract

The need for smartphone has become part of the primary needs that are considered important for most of today's modern society, especially in line with the development of the digital era. This phenomenon supports the emergence of many smartphones that offer their products as effort to fulfill people's needs for communication technology. The purpose of this research was to analyze the influence of lifestyle, product innovation, price, and brand image on purchasing decisions for Samsung smartphone in Pekanbaru City. Population of this research was consumers who have purchased Samsung smartphone. The research sample used was 150 respondents using accidental sampling technique. The technique for data analysis used was multiple regression analysis assisted by SPSS. The research findings showed that lifestyle, product innovation, price and brand image had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Lifestyle and brand image becomes the dominant variable in consumer purchasing decisions. Kebutuhan akan smartphone telah menjadi bagian dari kebutuhan primer yang dianggap penting bagi sebagian besar masyarakat modern saat ini terutama seiring dengan perkembangan era digital. Fenomena ini mendukung munculnya banyak smartphone yang menawarkan produknya sebagai upaya memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat akan teknologi komunikasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa pengaruh gaya hidup, inovasi produk, harga, dan citra merek terhadap keputusan pembelian smartphone Samsungdi Kota Pekanbaru. Populasi penelitian adalah konsumen yang pernah membeli smartphone Samsung. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan sebanyak 150 responden dengan menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Teknik analisa data menggunakan analisa regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa gaya hidup, inovasi produk, harga dan citra merek berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Gaya hidup dan citra merek menjadi variabel yang dominan dalam pengambilan keputusan pembelian konsumen.

Abstract

Riau is an area that has largest oil palm plantations in Indonesia where to create good oil palm land requires existence of an excavator. This condition provides opportunities for entrepreneur engaged in excavator spare parts to increase sales. The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of product variation, price, and after-sales service on purchasing decision at Sinar Sukses Bersama. Population in this research is consumers who have shopped at Sinar Sukses Bersama. The research sample used was 100 respondents using accidental sampling technique. Data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis with assistance by SPSS program. The results showed that product variation, price and after-sales service had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decision at Sinar Sukses Bersama. Product variation were dominant variable in influencing purchasing decision. Wilayah Riau merupakan wilayah yang memiliki perkebunan kelapa sawit terluas di Indonesia dimana untuk menciptakan lahan kelapa sawit yang baik membutuhkan keberadaan alat escavator. Kondisi ini memberikan peluang bagi pelaku usaha yang bergerak di bidang sparepart escavator untuk meningkatkan penjualan. Adapun tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisa pengaruh variasi produk, harga, dan layanan purna jual terhadap keputusan pembelian pada Sinar Sukses Bersama. Populasi penelitian adalah konsumen yang pernah berbelanja pada Sinar Sukses Bersama. Sampel penelitian digunakan sebanyak 100 responden dengan menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Teknik analisa data menggunakan analisa regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa variasi produk, harga dan layanan purna jual berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian pada Sinar Sukses Bersama.Variabel variasi produk menjadi variabel yang dominan dalam mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

The research aimed to analyze the influence of visual merchandising, store atmosphere, availability of money,and promotional activity on impulse buying behavior in MINISO Pekanbaru. The research applied a quantitativemethod, and the population was consumers who purchased any product in MINISO Pekanbaru. The sampleamounted to 150 respondents with an accidental sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire byasking questions to respondents. Analysis was conducted by using a multiple regression linear approach with IBMSPSS 23. The results show that the store atmosphere does not significantly influence impulse buying behavior.Meanwhile, visual merchandising, availability of money, and promotional activity significantly affect the impulsebuying behavior. The results imply that MINISO Pekanbaru has implemented a proper marketing strategy to attractconsumers to buy impulsively. However, MINISO Pekanbaru needs to re-consider the display and informationplacement about the products so that the consumers feel comfortable and content to spend a longer time there.

Abstract

Regional Bank is a commercial bank whose shares owned by the provincial government. So that, the Regional Bank plays indirectly a very large role in regional development. However, these Regional Banks have not contributed significantly to the development of their respective regions. From this description, this study aims to analyze the health performance of Regional Banks after the global economic crisis in 2008 using the Chow Test and the Hausman Test. This study has a population of 26 Regional Banks and a sample of 25 banks which are selected using purposive sampling. The result showed that from their financial ratios, Regional Banks tend to be in very healthy condition. Based on the research period from 2009 to 2019, the Regional Banks also shows results that tend to be very healthy. In terms of financial ratios and research period, the Loan to Deposit ratio tends to show fairly healthy results. Both of these results are supported by adjusted R2 using the Chow Test and Hausman Test of 0.86 which means that all of these financial ratios have an effect of 86% with details that Capital Adequacy Ratio, Net Performing Loan, Net Interest Margin, and Loan to Deposit Ratio has a significant positive effect, while Return on Equity has positive and insignificant effect and Operational Cost of Operating Cost of Operating Income has a significant negative effect on Return on Assets. Abstract

This research aims to analyze effect of company growth, solvency ratio, dividend policy, price earning ratio, and working capital to total assets on earnings changes. The research object is consumer goods industrial sector listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sampling technique used was purposive sampling in order to obtain a total sample of 41 companies. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results find that company growth and dividend policy had no significant effect on earnings changes, solvency ratio and working capital to total assets had a significant negative effect on earnings changes, while price earning ratios had a significant positive effect on earnings changes. Companies in consumer goods industrial sector as one of the sectors experiencing rapid growth need to pay attention to the stability of debt levels and company stock prices in the capital market in order to achieve optimal profit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pertumbuhan perusahaan, rasio solvabilitas, kebijakan dividen, price earning ratio, dan working capital to total assets terhadap perubahan laba. Objek penelitian adalah perusahaan sektor industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling sehingga diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 41 perusahaan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisa regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa pertumbuhan perusahaan dan kebijakan dividen berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap perubahan laba, rasio solvabilitas dan working capital to total assets berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap perubahan laba, sedangkan price earning ratio berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap perubahan laba. Perusahaan sektor industri barang konsumsi sebagai salah satu sektor yang mengalami pertumbuhan yang cukup pesat perlu memperhatikan kestabilan tingkat hutang dan harga saham perusahaan di pasar modal dalam rangka mencapai profit yang optimal.

Abstract

Currently, digital wallets in Indonesia continue to see an increase in the number of users. In general, digital wallets are preferred for online transactions over other payment methods. This study aims to analyze the effect of ease of use and brand image on consumer satisfaction and trust in LinkAja digital wallet. The population in this study was users of LinkAja in Pekanbaru. The samples were 150 respondents obtained using Accidental Sampling technique. Data analysis technique used was Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the help of Smart PLS 3.0. The results show that ease of use and brand image positively and significantly affect consumer satisfaction and trust and consumer trust positively and significantly affects consumer trust. Therefore, companies are encouraged to provide digital wallet features that promote user’s ease and comfort.

Abstract

Maintaining consumer loyalty is the main goal of relationship marketing. This is a way to build a long-term and mutually beneficial relationship between business owners and consumers. This study aimed to analyze the effect of relational marketing on consumer trust and consumer loyalty at Mega Sanel Lestari, Pekanbaru. The population in this study was consumers who made at least a purchase transaction at Mega Sanel Lestari, Pekanbaru with a total sample of 100 respondents. The study used SmartPLS 3 program. The results of the study indicate that relationship marketing and consumer trust have a significant positive effect on consumer loyalty and consumer trust. Consumer trust becomes the dominant variable in building and maintaining Consumer loyalty at Mega Sanel Lestari, Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Capital structure and profitability are part of company's financial system. Capital structure leads to company funding by utilizing long-term debt, preferred stock, and shareholder capital, while profitability refers to company's ability to generate profits. This study aims to analyze the effect of tangibility, growth, and company size on capital structure and profitability on LQ45 index. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling technique and obtained 38 companies. Smart PLS program was utilized to assist research data analysis process. Results indicated that reliability, growth and company size had a significant effect on capital structure but they did not have a significant effect on profitability. Additionally, capital structure had a significant negative effect on profitability. The research results support pecking order theory which believes that the lower the company's debt, the higher the company's profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation, organizational culture, and commitment on job satisfaction and teacher performance at SMP Negeri BangkoRohil, Riau. This study took a sample of 78 civil servant teachers at SMP Negeri Bangko District, Rohil, Riau. Data were collected by using a questionnaire or questionnaire and then statistically analyzed using smart PLS. The results of the hypothesis test state that work motivation have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction but is not significant positive on teacher performance, organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction but is negative and not significant on teacher performance, organizational commitment has a positive and insignificant effect on teacher performance. But job satisfaction is negative and not significant on teacher performance, then job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance at SMP Negeri Bangko, Rohil District.
