Abstract

The development of the times demands an effective and efficient method of activity. One of them is the method for determining the path. Dynamic human activities and being required to make displacement require a method that helps in determining the shortest path. Determining the shortest path has a reason to save fuel, time and power. One method that can be used for closest distance search is to use Dijkstra's algorithm. Dijkstra algorithm is an algorithm that applies a graph of direction and weight, where the distance between points is the weight of each arrow. This algorithm will look for the path with the minimum cost between one point and another. In addition, Dijkstra's algorithm can also be used to calculate the total cost or cost of the shortest trajectory that has been formed

Abstract

COVID-19 became a pandemic that occurred in many countries around the world including Indonesia. On April 4, 2021, confirmed positive cases in Indonesia were recorded at 1,534,255 cases. West Java occupies the highest position recorded on April 10, 2021 amounting to 256,834 cases until July 3, 2021 positive cases have reached 2,228,938 positive cases of Covid-19 virus. Various ways have been done by the government to reduce the growth rate and spread of the Covid-19 virus, one of which is the provision of vaccines to the community. Distribution of vaccines needs to be done as quickly as possible, so an appropriate distribution strategy is needed. This study aims to determine the location of the Covid-19 vaccine distribution center in West Java. The method used in determining the location point of the vaccine distribution center is the Center of Gravity method. Based on the calculations obtained the coordinate point of the location of the Covid-19 vaccine distribution center in West Java is -6.83041 and 107.73030 with a total distribution cost of Rp31,939,000. The location of the vaccine distribution center provides a greater cost value compared to the cost in the initial condition of Rp 30,091,000. In terms of distance, the location of the latest distribution center resulted in a smaller distance of 3055.3 km compared to the initial condition with a total distance of 3389.8 km. The distance produced by the distribution center is shorter so that it will increase the efficiency of delivery time which will make the distribution process faster

Abstract

This study aims to determine the value of the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) factor on the cream filling machine at PT XYZ. OEE is one of the standards for measuring manufacturing productivity and identifying the percentage of production time that is productive. OEE Is the single best metric for identifying losses, comparing progress, and increasing productivity of manufacturing equipment. This research was conducted at the company PT. XYZ by taking production data for the period November 2020 - February 2021 on the cream filling machine at the company PT XYZ. Based on data processing carried out on the cream filling machine at PT XYZ, in OEE 3 measurement factors are used as references to determine the OEE value on a machine, including Availability, Performance, Quality, the results of the availability, performance, and quality measurements are 90, 64%, 97.27%, and 97.52%, it can be seen that the Rate of Quality in this filling machine is 97.52%, which means that the product does not meet the World Class requirements, namely > 99.9%. The results of OEE obtained are 85.97%. It can be concluded that the OEE value of the cream filling machine at PT XYZ meets the World Class OEE requirements, namely > 85%

Abstract

Distribution creates a smooth flow of marketing and is a link between production and consumption activities. Pharmaceutical companies that can distribute products to their customers quickly according to the time, number and conditions that have been agreed will get more attention from their customers compared to companies that cannot meet it. To achieve the best distribution, it is necessary to place a good distribution center. The Center of Graivty method is used to determine the location of a new external warehouse based on the coordinate point of the distributor or customer of PT. GPO.  The results of the research location of distribution centers are -6.653153379 and 107.5731519 located in Karangpedas Village, Kiarapedes District, Purwakarta Regency. The total distance reduction obtained from this study was as far as 145.43 km. The total cost of transportation is assumed to be directly proportional to the distance traveled, so that with the reduction of total mileage, transportation costs will also be smaller

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) in a pharmaceutical company in Bandung which is currently moving from an increasingly widespread industrial location, so that there are new products. TPM is a useful system in increasing productivity, increasing productivity on various production tools and equipment with only the necessary maintenance investment. Evaluation of the implementation of the TPM pillars is carried out through the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) analysis method, visual management, lost time injury (LTI) and time accident rate (TAR). Another result is that the implementation of the planned maintenance pillar has not reached the target according to the standard, both in terms of availability and performance rate parameters. The pillar that has not been implemented in this company is autonomous maintenance. The conclusion from this research is that PT XYZ has not effectively implemented TPM in its factory operations. The recommendation from this research is the need for the implementation of autonomous maintenance pillars and scheduled replacement of engine components to solve problems that exist in the factory and can be focused in particular on critical work areas

Abstract

Competition in the manufacturing industry is now very fierce. The growth of the industry is running rapidly and that is why competition in each industry is so fierce. PT XYZ is a glassware factory and produces glass tools produced through several stages of the process. Currently the company's capabilities cannot meet market demand. This causes backorders to occur almost every month. This inability is due to the large number of defective products (defects) and waste (waste). This allows the company to continue to manage existing production systems effectively and efficiently. Implementation of lean six sigma in identifying defects and waste. Fixed defects and reduced drilling to increase production output. Stream mapping is used for identification against waste. While the identification of defects is done by control charts. After obtaining the data and analyzed using the cause effect diagram and pareto diagram so as to produce a series of recommendations for system improvement. The results of the research obtained by analyzing the root cause analysis method is that the cause of defective products is in the process of machine preparation and the inaccuracy of the operator tuning the machine. While the cause of waste occurs due to breakdown in the machine used in the production process.

Abstract

Smooth production is very important to achieve the targets to be achieved by producers efficiently. This is also done at PT. ABC which produces various products in the form of bed linen. In the production process PT. ABC still has many production processes that consume a lot of production time (waste), starting from the beginning of the work to the time of product delivery to the customer, especially the high process that experiences lead times, equipment and machines that do not meet production capacity. The purpose of this study is to provide suggestions for improvement in reducing waste that occurs at PT. ABC This research method is a value stream mapping (VSM) which will map the value of each activity in each production process that occurs. It aims to determine which activities provide added value (value added) and which do not provide added value (non-value added) and can provide suggestions. improvements to the future state map to reduce time waste that occurs in the production process activity of the door panel box 7. The results of the approach using the value stream mapping tool and applying the proposed improvements, where the analysis compares the analysis of the current state map with the future state map. The results of this study get the results of the current state map analysis for value added activities of 499.8 seconds and non-value-added activities of 801.27 seconds

Abstract

PT Berdikari (Persero) as a State-Owned Animal Husbandry has the task of being a company providing protein food for the community. Currently, the GP farm has started to produce DOC (Day Old Chick) PS (Parent Stock) which is distributed to smallholder breeders and is spread over the island of Java and other areas in Indonesia. throughout Indonesia. In the context of the supply chain, transportation plays an important role because it is very rare for a product to be produced and consumed in the same location. PT Berdikari Persero needs to examine vehicle operating costs to find out shipping rates based on weight and shipping rates based on dimensions referring to the Real Cost / Back Method to Back Cost. The calculation is done by calculating fixed costs which include depreciation costs, licensing and administrative costs, crew salaries, vehicle insurance and capital costs, as well as calculating variable costs which include fuel costs, tire costs, replacement parts costs, vehicle maintenance costs. As a result, PT Berdikari Persero obtained a basic shipping rate based on weight of IDR 3,957/kg and a cost of shipping based on dimensions of IDR 21,761/box, also obtained Fixed Costs and Variable Costs in the amount of IDR 430,863,383/truck/year

Abstract

PT Dirgantara Indonesia is a trusted center of excellence in the field of engineering, maintenance, repair and overhoul of gas turbine systems and rotating equipment leading in Southeast Asia. PT dirgantara Indonesia also carries out periodic maintenance that must be carried out by every owner who buys an aircraft at PT Dirgantara Indonesia, one of which is to carry out repairs, maintenance and overhouls on the engine, because engine overhoul repairs must be carried out at PT Nusantara Turbin and Propulsi, so they want to research vehicle operational costs (BOK) for the transfer of the engine from PT Dirgantara Indonesia to PT Nusantara Turbin and Propulsion or vice versa. The calculation is carried out by calculating fixed costs per year, calculating variable costs per year and calculating transport costs to get shipping rates based on dimensions and weight. From the calculation of the shipping cost based on dimensions of Rp. 61,824,100 / box and the basic shipping rate based on weight of Rp. 147,905 / kg. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan diperoleh Biaya Tetap dan Biaya Variabel dengan jumlah sebesar Rp 190.228.000/forklift/tahun

Abstract

Pandemic Covid-19 affected world economic that have correlation with the fluctuative of child denim fashion industry demand in 2020. The supply of raw materials in the warehouse is closely related to the needs of production process in the textile industry. Shortages or lack of supply of raw material can cause delays in the production process, it will cause the product cannot be delivered to the customer and lost of profit opportunity. Conversely, excessive stock can decrease profit of business because it can increase purchasing cost, ordering cost and holding cost. Optimization (Efficiency) is one of solution to control between demand and raw material balance. The purposes of this study are to find out how to optimize inventory of Economic Order Quantity, how much total cost of inventory per year, and Reorder point for denim 10 oz cotton-non-stretch raw material. The method of this study is simple probabilistic EOQ method. The result of Economic Order Quantity is 11.231 yard/order. Based on calculation, safety stock of denim 10 oz cotton-non-stretch material is 228 yard and re-order point is 1.126 yard
