Abstract

Buy now pay later services such as Shopee PayLater are increasingly being adopted by university students as a digital payment alternative, even though this phenomenon often collides with consumptive behavior and the low financial literacy of its users. This study aims to analyze the acceptance level of Shopee PayLater usage among students at Universitas Islam Indragiri by applying the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework. This quantitative research utilizes primary data collected from 89 student respondents through a purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed through multiple linear regression using IBM SPSS Statistics to test the significance of the Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), and Attitude (ATT) variables on the intention to use or Behavioral Intention (BI). Based on the statistical test results, it was found that perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived ease of use (PEOU) do not have a partially significant effect on the intention to use the service. Conversely, the attitude (ATT) variable proved to have a positive and the most significant influence on students' behavioral intention. Simultaneous testing confirmed that the three independent variables collectively influence the intention to use, with the regression model capable of explaining 74.6% of the total variance (R² = 0.746). The conclusion of this study asserts that user attitude plays a crucial role and serves as the most dominant determining factor in driving students to continue utilizing the Shopee PayLater service, outweighing considerations regarding the usefulness and ease of the application itself

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Village Consultative Body’s (BPD) authority to propose the dismissal of the Village Head in Pebenaan Village, Indragiri Hilir Regency, based on Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages. It also analyzes factors influencing this authority and its compliance with applicable regulations. Using empirical legal research with a sociological approach, data were collected through interviews with BPD members and the Village Head, supported by legal literature analysis. The findings show that the BPD’s proposal to dismiss the Village Head represents a supervisory function in village governance. However, its implementation is influenced by village financial transparency, accountability, community pressure, political dynamics, and limited understanding of legal authority boundaries. The proposal to appoint an Acting Village Head before an official dismissal decision by the Regent indicates inconsistency with the principle of legality and existing legal provisions.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the smartphone market has created significant difficulty for retail staff in providing consistent, objective purchase recommendations, particularly for customers with limited technical knowledge. This study presents SmartPick, a recommendation system that applies the C4.5 Decision Tree algorithm to address the inefficiency of manual recommendation at Sahabat Ponsel Tembilahan retail store. Purpose: To classify users into smartphone usage categories Gaming, Photography/Videography, Student, and General User based on budget, usage intent, and technical preferences, replacing subjective salesperson judgment with a consistent, rule-based decision process. Methods: A balanced dataset of 500 smartphones was used to train and evaluate the C4.5 model, chosen for its interpretability and ability to represent decision logic as human-readable rules. Results: The model achieved 96.00% testing accuracy, outperforming CART, Random Forest, Naive Bayes, and K-NN. Novelty: Unlike prior recommendation approaches relying on collaborative or content-based filtering, which require extensive historical transaction data, SmartPick integrates technical specifications and budget constraints directly into a single interpretable Decision Tree model, offering a transparent and scalable alternative for retail-based smartphone recommendation that remains explainable to non-technical users.

Abstract

Sugarcane plant diseases pose a significant threat to agricultural productivity, yet early and accurate identification remains challenging for farmers due to the limitations of manual inspection. This study proposes a sugarcane leaf disease classification system using ConvNeXt V2 Tiny, a modern convolutional architecture with a Global Response Normalization (GRN) mechanism, combined with an ensemble Stratified K-Fold Cross Validation strategy (K=6) to improve generalization on real-world field data. A dataset of 2,948 leaf images spanning five classes (Red Rot, Mosaic, Rust, Yellow Leaf, and Healthy) was used, with field-collected images held out as a fixed test set. The ensemble model achieved a mean validation accuracy of 98.49% ± 0.58% across six folds and a test accuracy of 98.39% on 427 unseen field images, with macro-average precision, recall, and F1-score each reaching 98%. ConvNeXt V2 Tiny substantially outperformed ResNet-50 (87.35%) and EfficientNetV2-S (83.37%) under identical experimental settings, demonstrating superior generalization across the domain gap between curated and field data. The primary contribution of this study is the first application of ConvNeXt V2 Tiny with ensemble K-Fold strategy for sugarcane disease classification, offering high accuracy with moderate computational complexity (28.6M parameters) and practical deployability, as demonstrated through the SugarScan web application.

Abstract

Penggunaan smartphone pada anak usia dini semakin meningkat dan dapat menimbulkan risiko ketergantungan apabila tidak disertai pengawasan orang tua yang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun model prediksi risiko ketergantungan smartphone pada anak usia dini menggunakan algoritma Random Forest serta membandingkan kinerjanya dengan Support Vector Machine dan K-Nearest Neighbor. Penelitian menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan data primer dari kuesioner yang diisi oleh 347 orang tua. Variabel penelitian meliputi umur anak, durasi dan frekuensi penggunaan smartphone, usia pertama mengenal smartphone, tujuan penggunaan, serta pola pengawasan orang tua. Tahapan penelitian mencakup pengumpulan data, pembersihan dan transformasi data, pelabelan tingkat risiko, pembagian data latih dan data uji dengan rasio 80:20, penanganan ketidakseimbangan kelas, pelatihan model, serta evaluasi menggunakan confusion matrix, accuracy, precision, recall, dan F1-score. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Random Forest memperoleh akurasi 87,14%, lebih tinggi dibandingkan K-Nearest Neighbor sebesar 69% dan Support Vector Machine sebesar 47%. Analisis feature importance menunjukkan bahwa pengawasan orang tua merupakan faktor paling dominan, diikuti umur anak dan tujuan penggunaan smartphone. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Random Forest mampu menghasilkan prediksi yang lebih baik pada data penelitian, meskipun kemampuan model dalam mengenali kelas risiko rendah masih perlu ditingkatkan. Model yang dihasilkan berpotensi digunakan sebagai pendukung deteksi dini bagi orang tua dan pihak terkait untuk merancang pengawasan, pendampingan, serta langkah pencegahan ketergantungan smartphone secara lebih tepat pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan staff melakukan pengelolaan terhadap insiden kecelakaan dan pelaporan masih menggunakan kertas sehingga berpotensi tidak maksimalnya dalam hal pelaksanaan. Kesulitan lain yang dihadapi setiap kejadian yang dilaporkan dan diterima oleh Unit Lakalantas haruslah disusun dengan rapi dan teratur sebagai arsip serta sebagai data yang bisa digunakan untuk membantu dalam pengambilan keputusan. Selain itu data yang diterima oleh polisi dapat digunakan untuk memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat sebagai wujud bentuk edukasi kepolisian tentang kecelakaan lalu lintas seperti jalan rawan kecelakaan, jumlah kecelakaan, jenis kecelakaan, dan lain sebagainya.dengan menggunakan PHP dan Mysql akan menunjang efisiensi dan efektifitas kerja dalam mengolah.

Abstract

Penjualan online toko sepatu menjadi peluang yang sangat baik dalam dunia E-commerce. Bagaimana tidak, produk toko sepatu yang dijual merupakan produk yang sangat di minati oleh semua kalangan. Produk yang dijual jarang ditemukan bahkan sulit ditemukan. Aplikasi yang dirancang didesain sesederhana mungkin agar mempunyai daya tarik lebih bagi pembeli, pembeli dapat berbelanja dalam waktu yang singkat tanpa harus melewati proses pendaftaran dan proses login. Aplikasi ini tidak hanya mempermudah pembeli dalam berbelanja, namun juga membantu memperluas pemasaran produk bahkan mampu membantu dalam hal laporan keuangan penjualan.

Abstract

A perfume is a shop that specializes in selling perfume in the city of clay. Processing data on sales, purchases and making reports on J perfume is still done manually, so the process of recording transactions and making financial statements is less efficient. So that in this study aims as an application that can simplify the store in managing all the sales transaction data, purchases and financial reports needed. In this study the data collection methods used were observation, interviews and literary studies, and UML (Unified Modeling Language) as a model that uses the concept of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) to facilitate researchers in building systems and in helping implement this research. With the implementation of this perfume J business management information system, it provides convenience to the store in managing all transaction data and financial laopran and is more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Bisnis barbershop merupakan salah satu bisnis yang kini sedang berkembang pesat, tidak terkecuali di Indonesia. Sekilas bisnis ini memang terlihat sederhana, namun jika dilihat prospeknya bisnis barbershop mampu mendatangkan keuntungan yang cukup besar.Dengan kemampuan tukang cukur dan fasilitas yang disediakan, tidak heran jika banyak yang memilih potong rambut di barbershop. Baik dari kalangan orang dewasa, anak muda, hingga anak-anak. Namun, hadirnya industri barbershop tak luput dari sejarah yang cukup panjang. Barbershop berasal dari bahasa latin “barba” yang berarti “janggut”. Barbershop pertama kali berdiri di Wilayah Macedonia sekitar 400 tahun sebelum masehi dan menyebar ke beberapa daerah lain seperti Mesir. Tetapi pada zaman itu, para pemangkas rambut ternyata bukan hanya bekerja memangkas rambut saja, mereka juga bekerja sebagai tenaga medis yang melayani operasi bedah kecil seperti mencabut gigi atau mengobati luka. Mereka mendapat ilmu tersebut dari para pendeta selama abad pertengahan. Namun sayangnya, kebanyakan para pendeta saat itu justru tidak mengobati pasien sebagaimana mestinya. Kemudian Paus mengeluarkan keputusan berupa sanksi kepada 1163 pendeta. Pada saat itu, pelayanan medis pun dimonopoli oleh barbershop. Seiring perkembangan zaman, akhirnya barbershop dipisah dengan ahli bedah medis atau yang biasa kita kenal dengan Dokter. Para pemangkas yang bekerja di barbershop hanya melayani pangkas rambut, mencukur janggut atau kumis. Salah satu tokoh dunia yang sukses menjadi tukang cukur sekaligus ahli bedah pada zaman dahulu yaitu Ambroise Pare yang kini namanya sudah mendunia.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This system provides speed boat ticket booking services online. This system helps prospective passengers when they want to depart with different specific destinations. This system is only implemented in three speed boat counters and these three boat counters have not used the online ticket booking system, for booking activities can only be done via telephone or come directly to the pocket. Sometimes when ordering tickets customers often run out of seats, then when making reports employees require a relatively long time because they have to calculate all transactions using a calculator so that it can cause errors during the addition process. It is hoped that through this information system prospective passengers can immediately order boat tickets that still provide empty seats, find out departures, schedules, costs and destinations that can be done online. This system is not only useful for prospective passengers, but this system can be useful for ticket holders and employees. With this system employees can also be facilitated when they want to make transaction reports, find out all information about passengers. The owner can also immediately know the total transactions per day, without having to wait for monthly reports. In designing this web-based boat ticket ordering information system, it is drawn into the form of a DFD (Data Flow Diagram) diagram, while the test used is UAT (User Acceptance Test) and using the PHP (Personal Home Page) programming language.
