Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas VI di MI Perwanida Kota Blitar. Fokus pengabdian ini dilaksanakan agar siswa mampu menguasai bahasa Inggris dengan baik dan menyenangkan. Latar belakang dilaksanakan pengabdian ini adalah (1) motivasi belajar bahasa Inggris siswa yang rendah; (2) media pembelajaran dan metode pengajaran yang kurang bervariatif dan (3) anggapan siswa bahwa bahasa Inggris adalah mata pelajaran yang sulit dipelajari. Dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini siswa dibimbing dan diajarkan materi bahasa Inggris dengan mengaplikasikan media pembelajaran dan variasi metode mengajar yang menyenangkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan speaking, listening, reading dan writing. Hasil dari pengabdian yang dilakukan menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi dan pemahaman dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat diperhatikan dalam proses pertumbuhan anak. Pendidikan karakter dapat melalui berbagai pengajaran salah satunya pengajaran sastra. Pengejaran sastra pada anak mampu menumbuhkan pribadi yang baik serta menumbuhkan unsur hakiki pada anak. Mendukung pentingnya pendidikan karakter mahasiswa KKN UNU Blitar menghadirkan program “Bina Baca Puisi bagi Siswa SD Suruhwadang”. Program ini menggunakan metode pembinaan kelompok serta pembinaan secara individu, pembinaan ini berlangsung selama 3 kali pertemuan dalam 3 minggu disetiap sekolahnya. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan adanya respon serta hasil yang baik dalam proses menumbuhan karakter disetiap anak yaitu siswa berani tampil ke depan untuk membaca puisi sesuai teori yang diajarkan , serta siswa dapat mengikuti secara antusias dalam bentuk menyimak intensif.

Abstract

Media merupakan alat dan bahan untuk mendorong proses latihan. Berdasarkan wawancara yang di lakukan oleh peneliti kepada salah satu pelatih di puslatcab kabupaten Blitar mengatakan bahwa puslatcab kabupaten Blitar mengalami kemrosotan prestasi di karenakan kurangnya produktifitas dalam smash dan service. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan latihan drill smash dan service agar bisa menjadi produktif saat pertandingan berlangsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan 5 tahap model dari reseacrh and development ( R&D ) 1) potensi dan masalah, 2) pengumpulan data, 3) desain produk, 4) validasi desain, 5) uji coba pemakaian dan produksi masal. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket ahli alat dan ahli desain. Penelitian ini diperoleh validasi ahli alat diperoleh persentase 89% dengan sangat valid, validasi ahli desain diperoleh persentase 95% dengan sangat valid. Respon atlet terhadap alat ini dari puslatcab mendapatkan persentase sebesar 94% dengan kategori SANGAT VALID dan respon dari atlet sepak takraw dari SMA kota blitar mendapatkan respon sebesar 93% dan menghasilkan kategori SANGAT VALID. Alat latihan L ini mendapatkan respon yang bagus sehingga alat ini sangat layak digunakan untuk melatih drill smash dan service.Abstract: Media is a tool and material to encourage the training process. Based on interviews conducted by the researcher to one of the trainers at the Blitar Regency Puslatcab said that the Blitar Regency Puslatcab experienced a decline in achievement due to a lack of productivity in smash and service. The purpose of this study is to improve drill smash and service exercises so that they can be productive during the match. This study uses a 5-stage model of research and development (R&D) 1) potential and problems, 2) data collection, 3) product design, 4) design validation, 5) trial use and mass production. The data collection technique used a questionnaire from a tool expert and a design expert. This study obtained expert validation of tools obtained by a percentage of 89% with a very valid, design expert validation obtained a percentage of 95% with a very valid. The athlete's response to this tool from the puslatcab got a percentage of 94% in the VERY VALID category and the response from sepak takraw athletes from Blitar city high school got a response of 93% and resulted in a VERY VALID category. This L training tool gets a good response so this tool is very suitable to be used to train smash drills and service.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi di dunia pendidikan memperlihatkan dampak positif yang cukup signifikan, dalam perkembangannya Sumber Daya Manusia di bidang pendidikan diharuskan selaras mengikuti perkembangan teknologi. Oleh karena itu sangat dibutuhkan pelatihan dalam bidang Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) di dunia pendidikan khususnya bagi para generasi muda, adanya perkembangan teknologi tentunya sarana dan prasarana pendidikan terfasilitasi dengan laboratorium komputer, meskipun didukung oleh sarana dan prasarana namun pengetahuan tenaga pendidik tentang Teknologi Informasi dan Komiunikasi masih sangat minim. Salah satu pendidikan dalam bidang Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi adalah ilmu tentang pemanfaatan aplikasi Microsoft Office untuk mengolah, menyimpan, dan mengombinasikan data digital berbentuk dokumen meliputi data digital berbentuk huruf, gambar, maupun angka, Microsoft Office sendiri memiliki banyak aplikasi, 3 diantara yang sering digunakan adalah Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, dan Microsoft PowerPoint. Pemanfaatan aplikasi tersebut diterapkan dalam bentuk pelatihan pada siswa siswi Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Dengan pelatihan selama 3 kali pertemuan tersebut, peserta pelatihan dapat lebih mengetahui tetang cara penggunaan dan pemanfaatan Microsoft Office dan harapan kedepannya, pelaksanaan pelatihan ini memberikan hasil yang signifikan bagi siswa siswi dan manfaat yang dirasakan dapat diaplikasikan pada dunia Pendidikan serta bekal pada dunia industry yang semakin maju.

Abstract

This research and development aims to represent the process and results of wordwall media development for teaching reading skills on recount text material. The research subject was class X IPA 5 MA Ma'arif Udanawu. The development procedure refers to the model ADDIE. Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation are the five steps of the ADDIE paradigm. Observation and interview techniques were used as information gathering in the preliminary study. Meanwhile, to determine the feasibility of wordwall products, researchers used a questionnaire instrument that was given to content and media experts. Then a student response questionnaire was conducted to determine the level of student satisfaction with the media. A score of 96% was obtained in the very good category, per the evaluation of the material specialists. A rating of from media professionals is 92% was obtained which was classified in the Very Good category. In addition, the results of the student response questionnaire also scored 84% in the good category. Based on the overall assessment, the development of wordwall learning media in recount text material providing information for class X IPA 5 students can be declared feasible and suitable for use in teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

This research is to determine the processes and the results of developing Gartic.io on past tenses to teach students vocabulary in the 8th B Class of SMPN 5 BLITAR. Learning language is one of the many things that students learn in school. English is one of the languages students learn at school, in the learning processes one of the most effective ways to support student learning is through the use of media. Research and Development (R&D) employing the ADDIE model used by researcher in this study. Observation, interview, and questionnaire used to collect data from students. 82.5% on instrument validation which is considered “valid”, 87.5% on material expert validation which is considered “very valid”, and 77.5% on media expert validation which is considered “valid”. Second questionnaire for getting the students’ responses about the media obtain 74% which is considered “valid”.

Abstract

This research was used to develop a local culture story book to teach reading comprehension for grade 8 at SMPI Hasanuddin Kesamben Blitar. The subjects used in this study were 20 8th grade students. Based on the results of the needs analysis, it was found that 100% of students' answers did not have any special books that support their learning apart from materials from the government. Furthermore, based on these findings, the research developed a local culture storybook to teach reading comprehension for eighth graders at SMPI Hasanudin Kesamben. The method used in this study was adopted from Borg and Gall by taking some steps that includes: (1) observation and data collection, (2) Planning , (3) Product Development, (4) Validation the Product, (5) Revision stage I, (6) Trials Product, (7) Revision Stage II, (8) Product Improvement. In this study, there are two kinds of validation used to assess the product. The first validation is a material expert who got the result of 80%, its mean that the product is valid category. The second, the validation of media experts got the results of 83,75%, meaning that the product is valid. After the product was validated, then the product was tested on students and obtained student satisfaction responses with the total of 90% which was categorized that the product was Good/Valid.

Abstract

 Learning media is significantly required for English learners to reinforce the subject that they studied and to facilitate learning, especially in learning to speak. The mastery of speaking skill became the main goal, so learning speaking needs learning media. This research aims to develop a Monopoly game to teach speaking skills at the senior high school level. To reach that goal, R&D with ADDIE’s model was used the data of the research was used observation, interview, and questionnaire. After the Monopoly game was developed it was validated by media and material validator. The result of material validation obtained 90,6% which means that strongly valid, the result of media validation obtained 82,5% which means that strongly valid, and the result of the student’s satisfaction questionnaire obtained 82,6% which means that strongly valid on the trial process. Based on the material validation, media validation, and students satisfaction questionnaire it can be concluded that developed speaking skills by using the Monopoly game which can be an appropriate media to teach speaking skills in English learning.
