Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan kurangnya penggunaan Bahasa Jerman di kelas Bahasa Jerman serta kurangnya penguasaan materi dan kompetensi metodik didaktik guru Bahasa Jerman SMA dengan mengimplementasikan Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). Metode yang digunakan adalah membuat rancangan pembelajaran berbasis CLIL yang diimplementasikan melalui workshop 1-4 menggunakan prototype yang telah disiapkan, lalu melakukan observasi selama penerapan, mengumpulkan data responden, melakukan evaluasi dan diskusi hasil kerja. Peserta workshop sekaligus responden penelitian ini adalah guru-guru Bahasa Jerman SMA di Malang. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa CLIL dapat diimplementasikan dengan baik dan lancer. Hasil positif ditunjukkan dalam setiap poin angket yang terdiri dari kebermanfaatan, kesesuaian materi, harapan peserta, keterpenuhan harapan peserta, keaktifan peserta, dan hal yang berkaitan dengan teknis pelaksanaan kegiatan. Implementsasi CLIL dapat meningkatkan penguasaan materi dan kompetensi metodik didaktik guru bahasa Jerman, sehingga pembelajaran bahasa Jerman menjadi lebih menarik dan menyenangkan. Dengan demikian, siswa senang mempelajarinya dan kompetensi yang dituntut oleh kurikulum dapat tercapai dengan hasil memuaskan. Pada akhirnya, kita dapat turut berkontribusi dalam upaya mencapai target SDGs poin ke 4 yakni pendidikan berkualitas.

Abstract

This study is to describe the application of Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model with Picture and Picture (PnP) technique on creative writing skills of German Elfchen and Haikus Poetry in class XI 1 SMAN 7 Malang. This descriptive qualitative research involved 36 students of class XI 1 SMAN 7 Malang, using observation sheets and questionnaires as instruments. The observation results showed that students could follow the learning process according to the steps of the PjBL learning model with a combination of PnP techniques. Students gave positive responses to the PjBL learning model and PnP technique. The combination of PnP and PjBL techniques makes it easier for students to solve problems in developing creative ideas that are poured into the form of Elfchen & Haikus poetry writing. Overall, the application of the PjBL learning model combined with the PnP technique can develop students' creativity and train their skills in writing literary works in the form of Elfchen & Haikus poetry.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan respons siswa dalam aktivitas pembelajaran, perma­salahan, dan faktor penyebab permasalahan terhadap proses pembelajaran daring menggunakan aplikasi Zoom Cloud Meeting. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah 29 siswa menengah atas bahasa Jer­man di SMA Laboratorium UM yang berada pada tingkatan kebahasaan setara A1 GER. Data diperoleh dari observasi, kuesioner tertutup dan wawancara, dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa masalah yang berpotensi menghambat proses pembelajaran daring bahasa Jerman siswa menengah atas, seperti kendala teknis penggunaan dan teknis internet, dan di sisi lain keterbatasan akses siswa kepada aplikasi zoom dengan fitur lengkap yang menghambat proses pembelajaran berjalan secara maksimal. Kata kunci: Zoom Cloud Meeting; pembelajaran daring; pembelajaran bahasa Jerman The Problems of Using Zoom Cloud Meeting Application as A German Language Online Learning in the 10th Class at SMA Laboratorium UM The purpose of this study was to describe student responses in learning activities, the problems that students facing, and the factors causing the problem to the online learning process using the Zoom Cloud Meeting application. The data sources for this study were 29 German high school seniors at SMA Laboratorium UM who were at the language level equivalent to A1 GER. Data obtained are from observation, closed questionnaires, and interviews, with the type of qualitative descriptive research. The results of the study indicate that several problems have the potential to hinder the online learning process of senior high school students in German language classes, such as technical obstacles to using, technical internet connections, and the other problems that limit the access of students to the full-featured zoom application that hinders the learning process from running optimally. Keywords: Zoom Cloud Meeting; online learning; German learning Der Ziel in der vorliegenden Studie ist est zu beschreiben, die Reaktionen der Schüler, die Probleme, und die Ursachen auf den Online-Lernprozess mit der Nutzung von Zoom Cloud Meeting App. Die Datenquelle sind 29 Schülerinnen der SMA Laboratorium UM, die im Niveau A1 des GER sind. Diese Studie ist eine deskriptiv qualitative Studie und die Daten wurden durch Beobachtungen, geschlos­sene Umfragen und Interviews gesammelt. Die Ergebnisse dieser Studie zeigen, dass es potentielle Probleme gibt, die den Lernprozess des Online-Deutschunterrichts für Oberstufenschülern verhindern würden, z.B technische Probleme und Probleme mit der Internetverbindung, sowie auch fehlender Zugang zu der aktuellen Zoom App mit seiner kompletten Features, die verhindern wird, um den Lernprozess optimal umzusetzen. Abstract

This research aimed to describe students’ activities and responses towards applying of Linoit website-based media as a digital portfolio assessment tool in German language learning. This research was held in class XI-2 MIPA SMAN 1 Kedungwaru. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The data used were qualitative data supported by quantitative data. Qualitative data in the form of observation results and quantitative data in the form of questionnaire results were then interpreted into qualitative descriptive. The observation results showed that the use of the website-based media Linoit as a means of digital portfolio assessment was in line with the implementation of the learning design (RPP). The students actively engaged in classroom learning and followed the teacher's instructions to document their learning outcomes and upload them to Linoit as evidence of their digital portfolios. In evaluating the portfolios, the teacher wrote the evaluation results with the help of other media, which were then uploaded to Linoit. The students' responses showed that Linoit could be used as a platform for sharing and learning from each other's learning outcomes uploaded on Linoit. Additionally, the students could easily and quickly manage their learning outcomes through the features available on Linoit. However, Linoit had limitations when used in German language learning, as the essential feature of umlaut characters was not available on the platform. Moreover, the small display of Linoit on mobile phones made it difficult for users to operate its features, requiring additional time for adjustment when using Linoit.

Abstract

Teachers' mastery of competencies in developing summative assessment questions is a crucial aspect in the implementation of the National Curriculum, which is focused on fostering higher-order cognitive skills. This community service activity aims to enhance teachers' competencies in creating summative assessment questions by leveraging the digital platform LearningsApp as the primary medium. The training methods employed include workshops and intensive mentoring sessions involving teachers from various schools. Evaluation results indicate that 75% of teachers feel more comfortable using the digital platform, and 82.36% consider it highly beneficial in developing questions that incorporate higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). This training not only improves the quality of questions and the effectiveness of the question development, distribution, and evaluation processes but also strengthens teachers' professionalism in implementing the National Curriculum. Thus, the application of digital technology in enhancing teachers' competencies is an effective strategy aligned with the needs of 21st-century education and worthy of widespread adoption.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the application of the Kollaboratives Schreiben learning model with the PORPE method (Predict, Organize, Rehearse, Practice, Evaluate) and students' responses to its implementation in improving German writing skill of class XI students at SMAN Taruna Nala. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the study involved 16 students as research subjects. Data collection instruments included observation and questionnaires. Observation data were used to examine the implementation of the Kollaboratives Schreiben model with the PORPE method based on the lesson plan, while questionnaire data captured students' responses to the learning process. The results showed that students could follow the learning process in accordance with the PORPE method's stages and concepts. Based on the questionnaire data, the application of the Kollaboratives Schreiben model with the PORPE method is considered to help students in practicing retelling texts with the theme of introducing themselves and others (sich und andere Vorstellen). In general, the results of this study show that the application of the Kollaboratives Schreiben model with the PORPE method makes a positive contribution in practicing German text writing skill. In addition, students also show a positive response to the PORPE method as an interactive and interesting learning method.

Abstract

This study explores students’ perspectives on the implementation of the Kollaboratives Schreiben (Collaborative Writing) model integrated with the PORPE method (Predict, Organize, Rehearse, Practice, Evaluate) in enhancing German writing skills among eleventh-grade students at SMA Taruna Nala, Indonesian. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the study involved 16 students as participants. Data were collected through open-ended questionnaires focusing on students’ views regarding the combined application of Kollaboratives Schreiben and the PORPE method. The findings reveal that students responded positively to the collaborative aspects of the model, stating that it was enjoyable and supportive in developing writing skills and teamwork. Despite challenges such as limited vocabulary and the extended time required for implementation, the structured steps provided by the PORPE method helped students produce more organized texts.
