Abstract

The one-page lesson plan (LP) is one of four new policies announced by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture several years ago. LP is prepared so that teachers have plenty of time to prepare and evaluate the learning process. The training on how to design a one-page LP provides new experiences for teachers, who are members of the German Teachers Association (IGBJI) in Malang. Based on the results of the questionnaire, more than half of the participants stated that the design of the one-page LP was easier than the old one because the new design had components that were more concise and streamlined, made it efficient in many ways. Although the teachers still have shortcomings, but in general, it can be stated that the use of a one-page LP can help teachers to have an orientation in teaching.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the desires of the main character ‘der Mann’ in the short story by Peter Bichsel using Deleuze and Guattari’s Schizoanalysis theory. This was a qualitative study with a descriptive approach. The research data were comprised of words, phrases, and sentences. The collected data were subsequently categorized into types of desires. Data were analyzed using reading and recording techniques and described based on the proportion of desires. The results of the analysis showed that the main character receives constant pressures from society, leading to the emergence of paranoid desire, a desire that is formed due to the pressure of particular systems or social codes outside of the main character. This desire is schizophrenic at the individual level. In the short story, this desire is manifested through the creation of a new language by ‘der Mann’. In the end, the main character ‘der Mann’ can use new vocabulary at the levels of phrases and sentences, but unable to influence other language users. As a result, his newly self-created language is unacceptable in society. However, the schizophrenic desire at the individual level has the potential to destruct social formation

Abstract

Abstract. As an AI-driven interactive tool, ChatSonic offers students an independent learning resource to support their writing development. This study explores how students utilize ChatSonic and their perceptions of its effectiveness in improving German writing skills at SMA Negeri 7 Malang, Indonesia. Employing a qualitative-descriptive approach, the study collected data from 33 students through observations and questionnaires. Findings reveal that ChatSonic provides clear, concise, and easily understandable feedback, which not only facilitates students’ writing development but also enhances their motivation to learn German.  These findings offer global implications for the pedagogical integration of AI-powered writing tools in foreign language education, particularly in contexts with limited access to native-speaker feedback, suggesting that generative AI can serve as a scalable, complementary resource for writing instruction at upper secondary education level. Keywords: Writing Skills, Artificial Intelligence, ChatSonic

Abstract

This descriptive qualitative research aims to describe the use of the配音秀 (Dubbing Show) application in teaching Hanzi reading skills among university students. The subjects of this study were students of the 2025 cohort of the Mandarin Langunge Education Study Program who were taking the Chinese Comprehensive 2 course at the State University of Malang. Research data were obtained through obsevation sheets of learning activities, student response questionnaires using a Likert scale, and interview guides. Data analysis was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data trustworthiness was maintained using data triangulation techniques. The result indicated that the integration of the 配音秀 (Dubbing Show) application in the learning process was effective in helping students recognize the physical form of Hanzi, understand the synchronization between character visual and phonetic pronanciation (inisial, final, and tones), and increase students independent active angagement. Through audio-visual-based dubbing features, students felt more motivated and assisted in overcoming Mandarin literacy barriers.
