Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of transformational leadership, motivation, and discipline on teacher performance at SMA Muhammadiyah Martapura, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method, with the entire population of 32 teachers selected as respondents through total sampling. Data were collected through literature review, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that simultaneously, the three independent variables transformational leadership (X1), motivation (X2), and discipline (X3) have a significant effect on teacher performance (Y), with an F-value of 628.218 > F-table value of 3.63 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Partially, each variable also has a significant positive effect, as shown by t-values greater than the t-table and significance values below 0.05. Transformational leadership is found to be the dominant variable influencing teacher performance, with the highest regression coefficient of 0.895. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.993, indicating that 99.3% of the variance in teacher performance can be explained by the three independent variables.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality dimensions, namely tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, on the member satisfaction of the Islamic Multipurpose Cooperative (KSU) Syariah Surya Sekawan in Martapura, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 cooperative members selected by purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that partially, the variables tangible (X1) and empathy (X5) have a significant effect on member satisfaction. Meanwhile, the variables reliability (X2), responsiveness (X3), and assurance (X4) do not have a significant partial effect. However, simultaneously, all five independent variables have a significant influence on member satisfaction, as indicated by the F-test result, where F count is 211.168 > F table 2.81, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The R Square value of 0.681 indicates that 68.1% of the variation in member satisfaction can be explained by the five service quality dimensions studied. These findings highlight the importance of holistic service quality management within Islamic cooperatives to enhance member satisfaction. Therefore, cooperative management is expected to improve physical service aspects and strengthen empathy-based approaches in service interactions.

Abstract

Abstract This study explores strategies for developing the creative economy in the digital era based on Islamic economic principles, such as justice, transparency, and prohibitions against usury (riba) and gambling (maysir). Using a literature review and theoretical analysis, this research examines the alignment between creative economy practices and Shariah values. Data sources include relevant journals, books, and publications, with content analysis used to identify strategies aligned with a Shariah-compliant creative economy. The findings indicate that applying Islamic economic principles can be achieved through value-based innovation, profit-sharing business models, and digital technology for transparency. Practical implications include recommendations for businesses to adopt Shariah principles in their strategies and for policymakers to support regulations that facilitate a Shariah-based creative economy. The study also suggests enhancing Islamic financial literacy and strengthening digital infrastructure to support the implementation of Islamic economic principles in this sector. Abstract

This study examines the legal implications of apostasy in Indonesia within the framework of Islamic personal status law, focusing on marriage dissolution, inheritance disqualification, and guardianship rights. Although apostasy is not criminalized under Indonesian national law, its consequences are civilly enforced through the Kompilasi Hukum Islam (KHI) and adjudicated by the Religious Courts. Drawing on classical Islamic jurisprudence, the legal system treats apostasy as a disqualifying condition that voids marital bonds, excludes individuals from inheriting from Muslim relatives, and impairs their capacity to act as guardians over Muslim children. The study employs a normative legal approach, supplemented by doctrinal analysis and relevant case studies, to assess how these civil sanctions affect individual rights. It further analyzes the tensions between doctrinal fidelity and Indonesia’s constitutional guarantees of religious freedom and non-discrimination. The findings reveal that civil consequences for apostasy, while doctrinally grounded, conflict with international human rights standards and potentially infringe upon constitutional protections. The study concludes that legal reform is necessary to harmonize religious law with human rights obligations, calling for a contextualized interpretation of Islamic principles that upholds justice, dignity, and individual liberty within Indonesia’s plural legal system.

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines how Green Human Resource Management (Green HRM), ethical leadership, psychological welfare, social inclusion, and corporate governance influence the implementation of Sustainable Human Resources (SHR) in international organizations, responding to the call for integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into HR systems. Research Methodology: A cross-sectional, quantitative survey was conducted with 150 employees in international organizations involved in sustainability and ESG activities. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS to test five hypotheses related to the influence of Green HRM, leadership ethics, welfare, inclusion, and governance on SHR. Results: The findings reveal that all five determinants positively and significantly affect SHR implementation. Green HRM and ethical leadership show the strongest effects, while psychological welfare, social inclusion, and corporate governance provide complementary contributions. The model explains a significant proportion of SHR variance, emphasizing the importance of integrating ESG practices within HR systems. Conclusions: This study highlights the need for a multidimensional approach to SHR, demonstrating that it emerges from the combined influence of Green HRM, leadership ethics, and governance practices, rather than isolated green or ethical efforts. Limitations: The use of non-probability sampling and cross-sectional data limits generalizability and causal inferences. Future research could employ longitudinal or multi-source designs across various contexts. Contributions: This study advances SHR literature by integrating five key constructs into a single framework and testing it in the context of international organizations, offering practical insights for HR leaders to design integrated ESG-focused HR policies.
