Abstract

DC motors are a popular topic because they are widely applied in various electronic equipment. So, this requires a control that is fast and reliable. The development of optimized control methods is growing rapidly with the discovery of several new methods. Marine predator algorithm (MPA) is an optimization method based on marine life between living things. This article discusses the application of the MPA method for optimizing fractional order PID (FOPID) control on DC motors. The implementation of the FOPID controller is also difficult because the fractional calculus operators of the FOPID controller cannot be directly implemented in numerical calculations. The method proposed in this article is the FOPID-MPA method. To get a performance test of the proposed method, this study uses several comparison methods, namely the seagull optimization algorithm (ASO), chimp optimization algorithm (ChOA), and sine tree seed algorithm (STSA). This study also uses a variation of the reference speed to get the performance of the proposed method. From the experiment it is known that the FOPID-MPA method gives the best performance. The FOPID-MPA method has an overshoot value of 4.34% compared to the PID-MPA method in case study 1 and has an integrated of time-weighted-squared-error (ITSE) value of 7.44% better than the PID-MPA method in case study 2.

Abstract

This paper presents the reptile search algorithm (RSA) method to optimize the proportional integral derivative (PID) parameters on direct current (DC) motors. RSA was adopted from crocodile hunting behavior. Crocodile behavior is modeled in two important steps: surrounding and attacking prey. The RSA method was applied using twenty-three classical test functions. The search method of the proposed RSA method with other existing algorithms such as particle swarm optimization (PSO), and differential evolution (DE). Integral multiplied by absolute error (ITAE) and integral of time multiplied squared error (ITSE) were used as comparisons in measuring the performance of the RSA method. The results show that the proposed method, namely RSA, has better efficiency. Optimization of PID parameters with RSA on DC motor control shows superior performance. From the experiment, the ITSE average value of the RSA method is 4.17% better than the conventional PID method.

Abstract

Creative thinking is an important thing that must be possessed by every individual because it plays an important role in the progress of a country. One aspect of creative thinking is innovation which can combine existing knowledge with experience to create the development of new ideas. The purpose of this study is to implement creative thinking from the aspect of innovation in developing a DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor plug-and-play system with a database and communicative thinking in establishing good communication between devices and humans. The method used in this study was an experiment conducted by taking a sample of 120 data. The results of this study indicate a plug-and-play process developed by a scanning process to find connected PORTs without having to do configuration, showing a comparison of the DHT11 error value with a comparator that reaches 0.628% in temperature values and 0.428% in humidity values. This study also shows 10080 monitoring data for one week's temperature and humidity values obtained from the interface that has been made and the results of the data acquisition will be directly stored in the database which will later be used for further research.

Abstract

This article presents a newly developed modification of the dandelion optimizer (DO). The proposed method is a chaotic algorithmic integrity and modification of the original dandelion optimizer. Dandelion is one of the plants that rely on wind for seed propagation. This article presents the tuning of the power system stabilizer with the method proposed in a case study of a single machine system. The validation of the proposed method uses the benchmark function and performance on a single engine system against transient response. The method used as a comparison in this article is the whale optimization algorithm (WOA), grasshopper optimization algorithm (GOA) and the original dandelion optimizer (DO). The simulation results show that the proposed method, which is a modified dandelion optimizer, provides promising performance.

The South Sumatra Independent Food Movement (GSMP) Mentoring aims to improve the organizational capabilities of farmer communities in South Sumatra, through improving Organizational Capability. The main problem faced is the suboptimal field assistance related to plant and fish cultivation. A participatory approach is applied through socialization, formation of working groups, identification of needs, preparation of action plans, training, and technical assistance, as well as development of market access. The results of the study showed a significant increase in farmer welfare, marked by an increase in average income of 25%, an increase in food production of 20%, and strengthening local capacity. This program has also succeeded in increasing farmer access to agricultural technology and wider markets, in accordance with the theory of community empowerment, human capital, and market linkage. Recommendations for the sustainability of this program include the application of a participatory approach and ongoing assistance in other community empowerment initiatives

Abstract

The community service program carried out in RT 038, Sukarami Village, aimed to enhance the digital literacy of residents to prevent the spread of hoaxes. The main issue faced was the low awareness and skills of residents in verifying digital information, leading to a high spread of hoaxes. The methods used in this program included initial surveys, program planning meetings, digital literacy education and training, as well as discussion and evaluation sessions. The results of the program showed a significant increase in residents' digital literacy, with 80% of respondents able to verify information after the program. There was a decrease in the spread of hoaxes, from 60% before the program to 20% after the program. Residents also became more critical and inclusive in receiving and disseminating information, and more vigilant against potential online threats. Thus, this program successfully built a stronger and more resilient community in facing information challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

An essential metric for determining the caliber of education is how happy students are with their educational experience. The phenomenon of learning satisfaction is an important area of this study, particularly in the context of official schools in aviation. Cadets who go on to hold significant positions in the country's government and aviation sector receive crucial growth and training at aviation polytechnics. The publication of articles in relevant previous research will have a function as a reinforcement of theories and phenomena of relationships or influences between variables that are being studied. This study aims to produce a hypothesis of influence between variables that are used as a reference in future studies. This article is a type of literature review that raises the relationship between factors that affect student learning satisfaction, such as learning content, learning motivation, and student interaction with teachers. The results of this study are that (1) learning content has a very significant effect on learning satisfaction, (2) learning motivation affects learning satisfaction, and (3) student interaction with teachers has a very strong effect on learning satisfaction.
