Abstract

This research aims to describe the strategies used by Islamic boarding school managers or educators in instilling the values of religious moderation in students in the Islamic boarding school environment, the obstacles in instilling the values of religious moderation, and the efforts made by Islamic boarding schools to overcome these obstacles. The objects of this research are SMP MBS Al-Amin Bojonegoro.This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach using interview, observation and documentation methods. The data source is primary data sourced from kiai, coaches, teachers and students. Meanwhile, secondary data is taken from documents related to the research.The results of this research are 1) Instilling the values of religious moderation is implemented through strategies, namely; first, the madrassy/formal class method, in the form of classroom education that follows the national education system. Second, the halaqah method. The halaqah recitation is delivered by the kiai/ustadz after every sunset and dawn at the mosque by studying the yellow book. Third, extracurricular arts activities which will be presented at the end of the year. Fourth, hidden curriculum, namely everything that influences students related to positive behavior. 2) Obstacles in instilling the values of religious moderation among others; limited time, low student enthusiasm in activities, and students' lack of understanding of the importance of religious moderation. 3) Efforts made by Islamic boarding schools to overcome obstacles include specifically scheduling religious moderation lessons, requiring the participation of students in activities, and presenting applicable activities about the importance of the values of religious moderation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan pola pengembangan kurikulum berkarakter di Pondok Pesantren Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Al Amin Bojonegoro. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif analitis dengan variasi studi kasus. Yaitu secara jelas menggambarkan pola pengembangan kurikulum dalam Pondok Pesantren Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Al Amin Bojonegoro. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah adalanya pola pengembangan kurikulum yang dilaksanakan adalah pengembangan model kurikulum terpadu (integrated curriculum) dengan kombinasi kurikulum nasional, kurikulum Majelis Pendidikan Dasar dan Menegah (Dikdasmen) Pimpinan Wilayah Muhammadiyah Jawa Timur dan Kurikulum Pesantren Muhammadiyah Pusat yaitu Lembaga Pengembagan Pesantren Muhammadiyah (LP2M). Kurikulum tersebut ditekankan pada pembinaan karakter peserta didik. Penerapan kurikulum berkarakter dilaksanakan melalui pembelajaran, budaya sekolah, kedisiplinan, pembiasaan atau melalui manajemen pesantren, semua aspek tersebut diintegrasikan agar mendapatkan hasil dalam internalisasi karakter peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the practice of multi-religious tolerance in Kolong Village, Ngasem-Bojonegoro, and its relevance to the concept of religious moderation in facing the challenges of the Society 5.0 era. The research method is qualitative with a case study approach, through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study are: (1) the local wisdom of Kolong Village functions as a medium for internalizing the value of tolerance from an early age, (2) the practice of tolerance is in line with the principle of religious moderation in Islamic science, namely rejecting extreme attitudes and prioritizing balance, and (3) the harmony model in Kolong Village has the potential to be revitalized to answer the challenges of globalization, digitalization, and social disruption in the Society 5.0 era. Thus, local wisdom functions to maintain social harmony while also being a reference for global peace based on Islamic values ​​rahmatan lil-‘alamin. This study contributes to developing a model of community-based religious moderation rooted in local wisdom to face the challenges of digital civilization.

Abstract

This research analyses the education of ulama cadres at the Muhammadiyah Islamic Boarding School, Karangasem Paciran Lamongan. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. The techniques used in collecting data were observation, interviews, and documentation. Checking the validity of the data by triangulating sources and methods. Meanwhile, data analysis includes condensation, presentation, verification, and conclusion. The results of the research concluded: First, the concept of Ulama in Muhammadiyah Islamic boarding schools is to have professional competence, personal competence, social competence, and spiritual competence. Second, the strategy used by Islamic boarding schools to carry out education for ulama cadres is (a) education and training carried out in formal education and Islamic madrasas; (b) encouragement to memorize the Qur'an; (c) familiarization with students' activities; (d) field practice for preaching in the community. There are two variants in the education of ulama cadres, namely genetic and social theory (3). The educational implications of Muhammadiyah Islamic boarding school ulama cadres are (a) the existence of beneficial community service activities through da'wah weeks and field da'wah service; (b) there is an increase in the Islamic boarding school's clerical competence; (c) there is high satisfaction and trust in the community towards graduates of the two Islamic boarding schools, making it easier for graduates to play an active role in empowering the community, especially in the religious sector.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran kitab kuning dengan makna pegon bahasa Indonesia untuk mengetahui strategi yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran membaca kitab kuning dalam pemahaman santri pada Pelajaran hadis dan mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif Dalam proses pengumpulan data, penulis menggunakan beberapa metode, yaitu metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penulis juga menyertakan beberapa lampiran yang terkait dengan penelitian ini. Proses pembelajaran kitab kuning makna pegon bahasa Indonesia di Madrasah Diniyah mengunakan beberapa metode seperti Ceramah, Diskusi, Tanya Jawab dan Klasikal. Dimana para guru mengajar menggunakan metode yang sesuai dengan situasi dikelas masing-masing. Faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pembelajaran kitab kuning makna pegon bahasa Indonesia yaitu fasilitas memadai, santri bisa memaknai kitab kuning, santri sering terlambat, kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to conceptually examine the integration of traditionalism in the thought of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari, Kh Ahmad Dahlan and progressivism according to John Dewey in the context of education, focusing on progressivism as the basis for religious moderation-based education. The study focuses on how both thoughts are understood as a foundation for human formation through the educational process, identifying common ground, differences, and possibilities for integration within the educational framework. This research uses a literature study method, examining the main works of KH Hasyim Asy'ari and John Dewey, as well as relevant scientific sources discussing religious moderation education, traditionalism, and progressivism. The results show that KH. Hasyim Asy'ari's thought, as an Indonesian traditionalist scholar, emphasizes the importance of morals, scientific sanad, and balance between religious knowledge and general knowledge. Meanwhile, John Dewey, an American progressive philosopher, emphasizes education as a process of experience, freedom of thought, and adaptation to social change. The synthesis between KH. Hasyim Asy'ari's traditional values and John Dewey's progressive ideas produces a moderate education concept that balances spiritual, intellectual, and social aspects. Religious moderation-based education inspired by these two figures can be an alternative model in facing the challenges of radicalism and moral degradation in the modern era.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to strengthen the spirituality of medical personnel through the study of Imam Nawawi's Forty Hadiths at Aisyiyah Hospital Bojonegoro. The program employed an action research approach consisting of mentoring, regular studies, discussion, practice, and evaluation. The findings indicate strengthened spiritual motivation, sincerity, responsibility, patience, and empathy among healthcare workers while reinforcing collaboration between STIT Muhammadiyah Bojonegoro and Aisyiyah Hospital. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkuat spiritualitas tenaga medis melalui kajian Hadits Arba’in An-Nawawiyah di RS ‘Aisyiyah Bojonegoro. Program dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan action research melalui pendampingan, kajian rutin, diskusi, praktik, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi spiritual, penguatan nilai keikhlasan, amanah, kesabaran, dan empati dalam pelayanan kesehatan. Program juga memperkuat sinergi antara STIT Muhammadiyah Bojonegoro dan RS ‘Aisyiyah Bojonegoro dalam implementasi dakwah Islam melalui layanan kesehatan.

Abstract

Abstrak: tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penanaman nilai-nilai kebangsaan yang dilakukan pengajar kepada santri di pondok pesantren MBS Al Amin Bojonegoro - Jawa Timur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Validitas data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan peneliti. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah model analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa upaya yang dilakukan pengajar di pondok pesantren dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kebangsaan adalah dengan memanfaatkan kegiatan di lembaga formal dan kegiatan keagamaan. Kegiatan di lembaga formal yang dimaksud yakni menanamkan nilai kebangsaan melalui jenjang sekolah milik pesantren berupa Sekolah Menegah Pertama (SMP), dan Sekolah Menengah Atas  (SMA). Kegiatan keagamaan yang dimaksud yakni diskusi antara pengajar dan santri dengan mengkaji nilai-nilai kebangsaan yang terdapat di Al Qur’an serta Hadist, serta kegiatan kepanduan Hizbul Wathan (HW) sebagai bentuk pelatihan bela negara.Kata kunci: nilai, kebangsaan, dan pondok pesantren
