Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of storage time of broiler chicken on its quality in terms of protein content and total bacterial plate number. This research was conducted on 11-19 December 2017. The design used in this study was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 treatments consisting of 2 days of storage (A1), 4 days (A2) and 6 days (A3) and the number of replications is 3 replications. Data were analyzed using ANOVA. Sample analysis was carried out in the MIPA laboratory at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Ambon IAIN and Pattimura University Basic Chemistry Laboratory. The results showed that there was an effect of the length of storage of broiler chicken on protein levels and total bacterial plate numbers. The effect of broiler chicken meat storage on protein content was 14.2% while the effect of broiler chicken storage on the total plate number of bacteria was 12.7%. Abstract

Ubi jalar ungu (Ipomoea batatas var Ayumurasaki) memiliki kulit dan daging umbi yang berwarna ungu kehitaman. Ubi jalar ungu mengandung pigmen antosianin yang lebih tinggi daripada ubi jalar jenis lain. Kandungan antosianin yang tinggi, menyebabkan ubi tersebut berwarna ungu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan gizi dari tepung ubi ungu melalui teknik pengeringan dengan menggunakan oven dan secara alami. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh atau tidak model pembelajaran cooperative script terhadap prestasi belajar  siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 40 Seram Bagian Timur. Penelitian ini berjenis quasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-postest  control group design dan sampel penelitian terdiri dari kelas VIIIa (kontrol) terdiri dari 17 siswa dan kelas VIIIb (eksperimen) yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yakni observasi dan tes. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran cooperative script terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Hal ini diketahui dari nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen lebih besar (75.00) dari nilai kelas kontrol (59.41). Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung= 5.152 dan ttabel= 1.725 sehingga thitung.>ttabel, sehingga H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran cooperative script terhadap prestasi belajar siswa.Kata kunci:Cooperative Script, Prestasi Belajar, Pencernaan Makanan pada Manusia

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of card sort learning strategies in improving biology learning outcomes on the concept of the human digestive system of grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 6 Seram Barat. The type of research used in this study is Classroom Action Research. Activities carried out in each cycle include planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were grade VIII2 students at SMP Negeri 6 Seram Barat with a total of 33 students. To obtain data on learning outcomes, it is necessary to use instruments in the form of tests and observation sheets. This research is said to be successful if, the learning outcomes achieved by students in the implementation of the test have reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria, namely individually, namely student test results have reached a value of 67 and classically student learning completeness has reached 75%. The data analysis technique used by the authors in this study is descriptive analysis.  Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that learning using the card sort method on digestive system material in humans can improve student learning outcomes in grade VIII SMP Negeri 6 Seram Barat

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA di dalam kelas seringkali dianggap sebagai pelajaran yang sulit dan membosankan. Hal ini menyebabkan siswa kurang berminat dalam belajar IPA dan memiliki hasil belajar yang rendah. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, perlu adanya inovasi dalam proses belajar mengajar yaitu dengan memanfaatkan alam sekitar sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media pembelajaran alam sekitar terhadap minat dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas VII pada materi fotosintesis yang dilakukan di SMP IT As Salam Ambon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan desain the static group pretest-posttest. Seluruh siswa kelas VII terlibat sebagai populasi dan sampel penelitian yang diambil menggunakan sampel populasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan soal tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 butir soal dan penyebaran angket minat belajar. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan uji t karena data yang didapatkan berdistribusi normal dan memiliki varians homogen. Hasil analisis data tes menggunakan software IBM SPSS Statistics 26 memperoleh nilai signifikansi uji-t sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 (α) yang menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media alam sekitar efektif dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi fotosintesis. Hasil analisis angket minat belajar menunjukkan tingginya minat belajar siswa setelah belajar menggunakan media pembelajaran alam sekitar dengan memperoleh persentasi minat sebesar 88% yang berada pada kategori tinggi. Hasil analisis angket respon siswa diperoleh persentasi respon sebesar 93% menunjukkan bahwa siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap penerapan media alam sekitar.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the use of Low Plant Botany textbooks developed with valid 4D models and their influence on critical thinking ability, metacognitive awareness and learning outcomes as well as the interaction of low plant botany textbooks developed with 4D models with academic ability to critical thinking ability, metacognitive awareness and student learning outcomes of IAIN Ambon Department of Biological Education so as to provide theoretical and practical benefits to lecturers and students. This research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2016/2017 academic year, on July 25-November 1, 2016. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling using the Experimental Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The data that has been collected was analyzed using analysis of covariance (anacova). The results showed that (1) the Low Plant Botany textbook developed with the 4D model could be used validly (2) there was an effect of the Low Plant Botany textbook developed with the 4D model on critical thinking skills (3) there was the influence of the Low Plant Botany Textbook. which was developed with the 4D model on metacognitive awareness (4) there was an influence of the Low Plant Botany Textbook developed with the 4D model on cognitive and affective learning outcomes (5) there was an interaction effect of the Low Plant Botany Textbook developed with the 4D model with academic ability with the ability critical thinking, cognitive learning outcomes and psychomotor learning outcomes. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Low Plant Botany Textbook developed with the 4D model can be used validly and has an effect on critical thinking skills, metacognitive awareness, cognitive and affective learning outcomes and there is an interaction effect with academic abilities on critical thinking skills, cognitive learning outcomes and psychomotor. It is recommended to collaborate with biology textbooks with appropriate learning models and strategies. Abstract

Eco-enzyme is a liquid fertilizer resulting from the fermentation of organic waste such as fruit and vegetable pulp, sugar and water in the manufacturing process which is quite long, around 3 months. The eco-enzyme solution is dark brown and has a strong sweet and sour fermentation aroma. Eco-enzyme contain various types of enzymes such as protease, lipase, and amylase which are very beneficial for plants and contain many microorganisms. This type of research is quantitative with a field experiment approach, which was carried out on August 19-November 27, 2024 which is located next to the IAIN Ambon Student Center building. The object of this research is tomato fruit plants that are given different concentrations of eco-enzyme. The research design used is a randomized block design consisting of 5 treatments and 4 groups so that the number of observation units is 20 units. The results showed that the provision of eco-enzyme with different concentrations (100%, 80%, 60%, 40%, 20%) was significant to the increase in plant height, number of leaves and number of flowers. In the provision of eco-enzyme concentration of 20%, the average increase in plant height was 53.25 cm, the average increase in the number of leaves was 13 strands, the average increase in the number of flowers was 3.25 buds. The difference test for each treatment using HSD-Tukey showed that the treatment of eco-enzyme concentration 20% (K5) was better than the other treatments.
