Abstract

Di era posmodernisme, sastra sering dianggap sebagai pemikiran. Salah satu karya sastra yang mencerminkan pemikiran adalah novel Metamorfosa karya Kafka. Melalui tokoh dan dunia yang ditampilkan, serta penceritaannya, Metamorfosa mampu merefleksikan pemikiran pengarang tentang masalah-masalah sosial, psikologi, dan politik masyarakat yang dipenuhi dengan dominasi dan kekuasaan. Kajian difokuskan pada dua pertanyaan. Pertama, metanarasi apa saja yang tergambar dalam novel Metamorfosa karya Kafka? Kedua, problematika sosial apa yang ditimbulkan dengan adanya metanarasi dalam novel Metamorfosa karya Kafka? Kajian dilakukan dengan menggunakan teori metanaratif Lyotard. Untuk menemukan dan mendeskripsikan metanarasi-metanarasi dalam Metamorfosa, digunakan konsep “differend” dan “fragmentasi” yang dikemukakan oleh Lyotard. Kajian menghasilkan temuan bahwa novel Metamorfosa merefleksikan pemikiran Kafka mengenai kesewenangwenangan yang disebabkan oleh metanarasi-metanarasi yang berkembang di masyarakat. Kesewenangwenangan tercermin dalam tiga fragmen, yakni kesewenangwenangan dalam dunia kerja, kesewenangwenangan dalam keluarga, dan kesewenangwenangan dalam lingkungan sosial.Melalui tiga fragmen tersebut dapat dilihat penyimpangan yang dilakukan pihak-pihak yang kuat, yang menimbulkan penderitaan, bahkan kehancuran yang berakhir dengan kematian  bagi pihak yang lain.

Abstract

Herta Müller is a Romanian-born author who is currently internationally known for his resistance novels. She was deported by the Romanian ruler led by president Ceausescu as she was considered endangering the Romanian government. In her escape, Müller created a novel depicting the resistance to injustice perpetrated by the Romanian authorities, who practiced a cruel proletarian dictatorial system of government. Herztier is the most concrete novel that shows her resistance to the authorities. According to Ashcroft, Griffiths, and Tiffin, resistance literature is closely related to context, and Said said that the situation and condition of context, determine the characteristics of resistance in the novel. The forms of resistance carried out by the characters in the Herztier novel, show similarities to the resistance style of the characters created by the German playwright Bertold Brecht, resistance that tends to be individual and clandestine, or what Scott calls the Brechtian style of resistance . Based on this background, this study is intended to describe (1) the characteristics of popular resistance styles of the protagonists in the Herztier novel; (2) situations and conditions that influence the resistance styles of the characters in the Herztier novel. The results of the study show that (1) the characters in the Herztier novel take the fight against the authorities individually and are not organized by being stubborn but passive, pretending to obey, pretending not to know, stealing, or fleeing abroad; (2) the resistance is caused by weak humans under the oppression of authoritarian and cruel rulers. The results of this study are expected to foster public awareness of reality, and in the next stage move them to actively participate in the struggle to create a just society.

Abstract

Kegiatan pendampingan penulisan karya ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis ilmiah bagi guru-guru SMP di kabupaten Lamongan sebagai mitra. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil observasi lapangan oleh tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Surabaya terhadap permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru-guru SMP di kabupaten Lamongan. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa para guru mengalami kesulitan menulis artikel ilmiah, baik dari hasil penelitian maupun non penelitian. Padahal, selain mengajar, guru juga dituntut untuk mampu membuat laporan ilmiah dalam bentuk artikel yang diperoleh dari proses belajar mengajar maupun penelitian. Artikel ilmiah juga menjadi syarat untuk kenaikan pangkat. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut kegiatan pendampingan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode hybrid, yaitu (1) pertemuan secara luring untuk memberikan konsep-konsep pembuatan artikel, (2) memberikan contoh-contoh konkret dan berdiskusi tentang pembuatan artikel, (3) pendampingan pembuatan artikel secara luring dan daring. Kegiatan pendampingan penulisan artikel yang diikuti oleh 32 guru bahasa Indonesia SMP di Kabupaten Lamongan ini dapat terlaksana dengan baik, dan diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: (1) berdasarkan hasil wawancara, pengetahuan guru-guru tentang penulisan artikel meningkat, (2) semua guru sudah mampu membuat draf artikel, (3) 2 guru mampu menghasilkan artikel yang sudah jadi dan siap untuk dikirim ke jurnal ilmiah, sisanya masih dalam proses penyelesaian.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian yang dilakukan saat ini bertujuan untuk menjabarkan mengenai dampak positif penggunaan media GO Kreasi untuk generasi digital native. Pada era ini sistem di kehidupan masyarakat bergeser menjadi keseimbangan antara manusia dengan teknologi, melihat siswa yang dihadapi masa kini adalah siswa digital native merupakan generasi yang lahir dan tumbuh bersama berkembangnya teknologi yang sangat pesat. Mereka memiliki karakteristik menyukai segala sesuatu berkaitan teknologi dan inovasi serta kolaborasi. Oleh karena itu penting bagi sebagai guru untuk memanfaatkan teknologi dalam proses belajar mengajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan melakukan observasi dan wawancara. Data yang telah terkumpul akan dianalisis sesuai dengan pembahasan topik terkait dengan menggunakan metode reduksi data, penyajian, dan simpulan. Hasil penelitian yang dihasilkan adalah mengenai gambaran digital native di Ganesha Operation, gambaran aplikasi GO Kreasi, dan dampak positif dalam penggunaan aplikasi tersebut.Abstract:  The current research aims to describe the positive impact of using GO Kreasi media for the digital native generation. . In this era the system in society's life is shifting to a balance between humans and technology, seeing that the students faced today are digital native students, a generation that was born and grew up with the very rapid development of technology. They have the characteristic of liking everything related to technology, innovation and collaboration. Therefore, it is important for teachers to utilize technology in the teaching and learning process. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by conducting observations and interviews. The data that has been collected will be analyzed according to the discussion of related topics using data reduction, presentation and conclusion methods The resulting research is about the digital native image in Ganesha Operation, the description of the GO Kreasi application, and the positive impact of using the application.

Abstract

This study aims to compile a Roadmap for Language and Literature research in the 2016-2025 period and to predict lecturers' interest in research in the field of Language and Literature in accordance with the vision and mission of the study program and UPPS. This research refers to the results of research policy documents at the faculty and university levels, as well as documents of achievement of policies that have been previously determined. The FGD method is directed at reviewing existing documents. The analytical method used in this research is secondary data analysis or existing statistics. The results of this study are that in the next 10 years, the previous 5 years 2016-2020 represent basic research, the next 5 years 2021-2025 are development research. The priority topics that can become the umbrella for the Language and Literature research roadmap of FBS Surabaya State University for the 2016-2025 period are elaboration of Microlinguistics, Macrolinguistics, Literary Studies, Curriculum Studies, Learning, Literacy, Entrepreneurship for 2016-2020. This can be interpreted that the lecturers have implemented an efficient learning system that supports the careers of graduates later.

Abstract

Foreign language learning can shape children's social and cognitive future, Mastery of foreign languages at an early age in education can improve critical thinking, interpersonal skills, and advanced language learning. Chinese is currently the second most spoken language in the world, so it is not surprising that many educational institutions have included Chinese in their curriculum system since early childhood education. The use of TPR (Total Physical Response) and Audiolingual methods is an effective method for learning foreign languages in early childhood. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. This research involved Chinese language teachers at Filadelfia Kindergarten Surabaya and 15 students at Filadelfia Kindergarten A Surabaya. The results of this study, the use of TPR (Total Physical Response) and Audiolingual methods can improve children's speaking skills and memorize Chinese vocabulary at the Kindergarten A level of Filadelfia Kindergarten Surabaya. The use of collaboration between the TPR method and the Audiolingual Method provides a stimulus for learning Mandarin that is fun for Kindergarten A Filadelfia Surabaya students, this is because the combination of the two methods requires students to be active and make movements in accordance with the vocabulary being taught.
