Abstract

The hotel industry will compete in developing their business, one of which is by applying information technology. In addition to designing an information system for business development, a vending machine can also be designed using the concept of finite state automata (FSA). FSA is a computational model with limited memory that has the function of a digital computer, which can accept input, output, temporary storage and is able to make decisions in defining inputs into outputs. The VM penyewaan kamar hotel design will make a new solution for tourists who do not book rooms online, can choose rooms independently through VM and using two payment methods, that is cash and non-cash method payment. The design stage begins with analyzing business processes at a hotel, describing the machine configuration with state diagrams and then designing the VM user interface. So that an output from the machine can be generated in the form of a room key which will then be used to enter the selected room.

Abstract

Penelitian tentang Vending Machine untuk menghasilkan mesin yang dapat beroperasi sesuai dengan ketentuan dan aturan yang berlaku terus dilakukan sampai dengan saat ini untuk berbagai produk ataupun objek. Beberapa penelitian banyak membahas terkait penereapan finite state automata untuk menghasilkan sistem vending machine agar sesuai dengan spesifikasi awal yang telah ditentukan. Oleh karenanya pada penelitian ini akan dibahas beberapa hasil penelitian yang menggunakan algoritma tersebut terhadap beberapa produk atau objek sehingga menghasilkan sistem sesuai dengan kebutuhannya dengan metode melakukan review pada beberapa jurnal yang berkaitan dengan penerapan finite state automata pada vending machine. Perbandingan penerapan konsep finite state automata saat ini dan melakukan identifikasi pada masing-masing kelemahan pada setiap pemanfaatannya di vending machine yang berbeda penting untuk dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk dapat mengembangkan teknologi mesin penjual otomatis karena penggunaan mesin penjual otomatis telah meningkat dari waktu ke waktu. Terlihat penggunaan algoritma ini dapat membantu dalam penyesuaian sistem vending machine untuk berbagai macam produk/objek yang bervariasi sehingga menghasilkan luaran yang sesuai dengan spesifikasi yang telah ditentukan.

Abstract

Indonesia terkenal sebagai negara agraris karena memiliki sumber daya alam melimpah yang didukung dengan tanah subur sehingga masyarakatnya mayoritas bermatapencaharian sebagai petani. Salah satu hasil pertanian yang berkontribusi terhadap kemiskinan di Indonesia yaitu beras. Beras dengan mudah dapat ditemukan di pasar baik pasar tradisional maupun pasar modern, namun ditengah pandemi virus corona (COVID-19) sekarang ini membuat orang merasa takut untuk pergi ke pasar karena pasar merupakan salah satu klaster terbesar penularan covid-19. Salah satu inovasi teknologi yang telah banyak digunakan dalam dunia perniagaan yaitu vending machine (VM). VM merupakan sebuah mesin penjualan otomatis yang biasanya terdapat di tempat ramai dan strategis. Hal ini yang mendasari untuk pembuatan simulasi VM beras dan diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu solusi pemutus penyebaran dan penularan covid-19. Simulasi VM beras ini dapat melakukan penjualan otomatis beras dengan masukkan berupa uang kertas atau dengan e-money dan keluarannya berupa struk bukti pembelian beras dan 5 jenis beras. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Finite State Automata (FSA) jenis Non-deterministic Finite State Automata (NFA) yang didefinisikan lima tupel, dengan rumus: M = (Q, Σ, δ, S, F). NFA dipilih karena dapat menjelaskan konsep kerja secara rinci sehingga mudah dipahami dan hasil dari FSA dapat dibuat konsep logika sederhana untuk implementasi.

Abstract

The field of digital image processing, such as segmentation, has become a widely discussed topic. Segmentation aims to divide the image into parts or regions so that there is no overlap with similar characteristics, such as color, shape, texture, and intensity. The segmentation process is generally divided into three groups of segmentation, including segmentation based on classification (classification based segmentation), segmentation based on edges (edge based segmentation), and segmentation based on region (region based segmentation). Edge detection is a systematic process used to detect pixels in digital images that are not fixed or always changing their brightness level in a line or curve. The purpose of this study is to compare edge detection methods using image objects. This research was conducted using the method of Robert, Prewitt, Sobel and Canny to detect the number of white pixels in each image. The tool used in this research is Simulink Matlab, where the parameters of each algorithm will be compared. Then the total number of white pixels is calculated from each edge detection method.

Abstract

Food Assistance Program (Program Sembako) is a development of the Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) program which has been implemented by the Ministry of Social Affairs since 2017, namely of food assistance in the form of non-cash from the government which is given to Beneficiary Families (KPM) every month through an electronic account mechanism that is used only to buy food in food traders/e-warong in collaboration with banks. Twitter social media has now become one of the places to disseminate information about the Program Sembako/BPNT. This case study uses text mining techniques with the support vector machine (SVM), Naïve Bayes (NB) and K-Nearest Neighbor (k-NN) methods which aims to classify public sentiment towards the Program Sembako/BPNT on Twitter. The dataset used is tweets in Indonesian with the keywords “BPNT” and “Kartu Sembako” with a total dataset of 1,094 tweets. Text mining, transformation, tokenize, stemming and classification, etc. A useful technique for constructing sentiment classification and analysis. RapidMiner and Gataframework are also used to help create sentiment analysis to measure classification values. The results obtained by optimization using Particle Swam Optimization (PSO) using the support vector machine (SVM) algorithm and the accuracy value obtained is 78.02%, with a precision value of 78.73%, a recall value of 82.16%, and an AUC of 0.848

Abstract

Information system is an asset for a company when the information system is managed properly. In the past, newspapers have become one of the main sources for people who want to get the latest news about what is happening around them. But now, the important role of newspapers is gradually being replaced by online-based news portals that can deliver news very quickly. PT Info Pena Indonesia itself utilizes an information technology in carrying out the process of managing and disseminating the news they produce with the help of a web portal called Jitunews. This research is quantitative in nature, namely explaining the use of survey methods by distributing questionnaires to users of the Jitunews news portal site for data about the characteristics of the ISO/IEC 25010 and McCall methods. The results of the research conducted on the backend and frontend pages show that the Jitunews website deserves a "Good" interpretation value. However, the security and functional suitability variables contained on the frontend page have the lowest values of all the variables studied, namely 74.43% and 77.50% with the interpretation of "Enough". This can be input for stakeholders to improve the quality of the website in order to increase user satisfaction with the Jitunews news website portal.

Abstract

Alat tulis kantor atau yang biasa disingkat dengan ATK, merupakan suatu kebutuhan dan sebagai sarana penunjang yang mempunyai peranan vital didalam berjalannya suatu fungsi kegiatan yang harus dipenuhi, salah satunya untuk murid sekolah. Maka persediaan barang khususnya alat tulis merupakan suatu yang sangat penting, agar siswa yang ingin membeli peralatan sekolah tidak harus keluar dari sekolah, dan dapat memudahkan membeli barang yang dibutuhkan saat sedang tugas praktek. Desain vending mesin alat tulis sekolah akan menggunakan metode finite state automata untuk memperdalam pengetahuan model komputasi yang paling mendasar. Penelitian ini telah menyajikan penerapan konsep finite state automata pada desain vending mesin alat tulis sekolah yang dapat mengeluarkan 5 barang yang sering digunakan, dengan pilihan metode pembayaran berupa uang tunai dan uang elektronik. Abstract

Retired Dana Pensiun Perkebunan Defined Benefit Pension Plan (PPMP) participants are required to certify annually that they still meet the criteria for being a valid pensioner. The retiree uses the Dapenbun online application to take a photo of himself and her ID card and wait for the data to be processed by the administrator. Pensioners who do not report will have their pension entitlements suspended. The number of retirees managed by the Plantation Pension Fund is over 216,000, and managers are overwhelmed with approval at the start of the re-data period. For this reason, authors design systems that can run automated approval and classification systems to facilitate data approval. Applying the FSA concept to this system reduces the processing of participant data as automation is applied to the first process of automatic termination of pensions for children aged 21 and over, second data with criteria for automatic approval. It will be faster. Categorizing data reduces approval errors and makes it easier for users to approve data.

Abstract

Instagram is one of the social media that has many users in Indonesia, where users are free to comment on whatever is going on, including being a form of online communication between campuses and their students. The number of topics and comments on an official Instagram account can be used as evaluation or learning material. The Open University is one of the campuses that has an official Instagram account with thousands of followers. In order to get an evaluation of academic and non-academic services, in this study a categorization analysis was carried out with 10,000 comment data taken from the official @univterbuka Instagram account. The data is categorized into 7 categories, then processed using 4 algorithms, namely SVM, Naïve Bayes, Random Forest and KNN. The highest accuracy in the category of teachers with the KNN method is 98.97% and the highest AUC is in the module category with the SVM method of 94.60%.

Abstract

Russia's invasion of Ukraine was criticized by various parties, including from Indonesia. The attitude shown by the Indonesian government is not the same as the response of the Indonesian people based on various comments on online news media pages. Comments by online news readers are used as an assessment of the Russian President who is involved in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine in the form of sentiment analysis. This study succeeded in obtaining data as many as 352 comments from one of the online news media, the data had previously gone through the cleansing stage to eliminate duplication. To get basic information on comments, Text mining and Text Pre-Processing become an important part of the process. The algorithm used in this research is the Naive Bayes (NB) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) classification algorithm which is optimized using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). The two algorithms were tested and gave the result that PSO-based SVM got the best accuracy, which was 79.90% and AUC 0.901.
