Abstract

This research was conducted to describe in an actual and informative manner the religious awareness and social harmony of the Dieng Plateau community, in the mind of the turmoil of identity and issues of religious and cultural relations which at any time there are parties who impose it as an endless conflict. This article explains the study of religion and a culture that builds social awareness and harmony in the Dieng Plateau community in respecting plurality and diversity. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation and observation. Meanwhile, data analysis used flow stages: 1) data reduction, 2) data display, 3) conclusion verification. This study concludes that religious awareness and social harmony are a way of life and not just religious expressions of the Dieng Plateau community. Religious awareness and social harmony provide insight into a society that maintains a balanced relationship between religion and culture as a guardian and preservation of the values of Islamic cosmopolitanism. This confirms that religious awareness and social harmony are attitudes and behaviors to create Islamic cosmopolitanism towards people of other religions and in a pluralistic society.

Abstract

The availability of Poskestren (Islamic Boarding School Health Post) is crucial in fostering a clean and healthy lifestyle among students. However, many students lack the competence to manage Poskestren effectively. To address this, an educational initiative was conducted at PP Assalam Jambewangi using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. This approach involved collaborative efforts between the service team, the boarding school, and the local health center. The activities included initial condition analysis, focus group discussions, education on Poskestren management, and reflection sessions. The results showed a significant increase in students' knowledge and participation, along with their enthusiasm to revitalize Poskestren. The smooth implementation of this program highlights the positive impact of management education in supporting a healthy Islamic boarding school environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memberikan ulasan mengenai eksplorasi model budaya literasi yang berdampak pada pengembangan kompetensi santri dan model di pondok pesantren berbasis perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini membahas budaya literasi digital dengan pengembangan kompetensi santri pada pondok pesantren berbasis perguruan tinggi. Metode penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan tahapan alir: 1) reduksi data, 2) display data, 3) verifikasi kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian ini adalah pertama, pembelajaran aktif dan partisipatif mampu membentuk model budaya literasi digital yang bersifat adaptif dan transformatif yang direpresentasikan dalam pemanfaatan internet yang didukung dengan kurikulum pesantren dan pendampingan pendidik sebagai mata rantai pembelajaran yang tidak terpisahkan. Kedua, Model budaya literasi terbangun atas adanya desakan adaptasi dalam pembelajaran new normal akibat Covid-19 serta meningkatkan kesadaran literasi di kalangan santri dan pendidik di pondok pesantren. Ketiga, model budaya literasi digital memperkuat tradisi dan dan sistem pendidikan di pondok pesantren serta sebagai sarana transformasi dan adaptasi budaya baru dalam belajar yang mengintegrasikan pembelajaran tatap muka dan online sebagai sistem pembelajaran integratif di pondok pesantren berbasis perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

This study examines the internalization of Sharia values within secular Turkish society through the maqāṣid al-sharī'ah framework. It focuses specifically on the Naqshbandi Sufi order, one of the most influential Sufi movements in contemporary Turkey. The research is based on qualitative data collected from 12 participants, consisting of Naqshbandi sheikhs, senior disciples, community educators, and active members in Istanbul, Ankara, and Konya. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews, direct observation of dhikr assemblies and community activities, documentary analysis, and review of academic literature and podcasts related to Sufism and Sharia. Content analysis was conducted using four analytic categories: leadership charisma, institutional networks, pedagogical practices, and community-based religious activities. Data validity was strengthened through triangulation across interviews, observations, and documentary sources. The findings reveal that although the Naqshbandi order maintains a strong ethical and spiritual foundation, deeper internalization of Sharia values still requires sustained cross-community dialogue, institutional capacity building, and the development of interpretive frameworks that bridge classical Islamic traditions and modern scholarly frameworks. The study concludes that cultivating sharī‘ah values in a secular national context requires balancing respect for tradition with adaptation to contemporary social challenges, thereby fostering ethical, contextually relevant, contextually relevant, and sustainable forms of spiritual and social practice.
